NBA Legends Explain Why It’s So Hard To Guard Stephen Curry At 35
Since his debut in 2009, Curry has been a nightmare for anyone tasked with the unenviable job of guarding him. But here's the kicker, he's 35 years old, with over a decade and a half of professional basketball under his belt, yet he's showing no signs of slowing down.
Think about it. At an age where most players are either retired, riding the bench, or reminiscing about their glory days, Curry is out there, still making defenders look silly and dropping buckets. But why is it so difficult to stop him, especially at this stage in his career?
You see, it's not just about the points he scores or the records he shatters. It's about the way he revolutionizes the game, pushing the boundaries of what's possible on the court. So, as we delve into the enigma that is Stephen Curry at 35, we'll hear from NBA legends themselves, those who've tried and failed to contain the Curry phenomenon. From the hardwood to the stat sheet, we'll unravel the mysteries behind what makes guarding Curry at 35 such a tough task. Welcome to the Steph Curry experience.

  • It’s mind boggling that fans like to doubt and hate on Steph when there are legitimate NBA players who struggle and praise him.

  • People say its "Levels" to the game. Steph put a whole other Level to the game. Consistent distance and accuracy are unbelievable. He's the ONLY player that gets double and triple teamed the whole game. Lebron, Jokic, Embid, Tatum, Giannis, Luka...None of them gets overhauled like he does. He still gets no respect with foul calls either!!! Curry been the best player in the league since the bubble season, and the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

He has low set point plus not very high, so you could expect lot of blocks, but his shooting speed is simply lighting fast...

  • To me Steph curry is the messi of basketball . I’ve been a football fan all my life and I would watch any match with messi in it especially in his prime because you knew there would be some magical stuff. I’ve always been a casual basketball fan but actually getting more and more into it and I will watch any game Steph is in because again I know there will be excitement . When Jordan, lebron, shaq and countless others say your one of the best off all time I think it’s fair to assume they know what they are talking about . I’ve watched a few videos today and I love seeing Steve Kerr reactions to Stephs skills and crazy 3s . Steve Kerr was decent himself with a 3 , again when you take in all the praise from the who’s who of nba over the decades and then add that a coach like Steve Kerr says he learned that even tho Steph might go for a shot from where Steve and most coaches would call a bad position , it’s not a bad position for Steph . Steves own words “Steph is allowed to shoot anytime he wants and from any where he wants as he’s that good” That’s quite special really. Imagine Steph and lebron both in there primes playing together 😮😮 would be something else . I say “in there prime” ones 39 and the others 36 and they are still head and shoulders above most in the league 😂
