  • My grandfather spoke multiple languages . My Great grandfather was a Lutheran minister , and he made my grandfather read out loud the Bible in its original Latin and Greek when he was a child , plus growing up in Amersterdam, he was already exposed to English , French , German , Dutch , later on he picked up Spanish , Italian, and Portuguese quickly since he already knew Latin. I never picked up his skills , but I developed a sharp ear that can distinguish the language being spoken even if I don't understand it.

  • Title is inaccurate, but a great insight nonetheless.

  • Comprehensible input would be more efficent to learn a language and of course the Birkenbihl approach.

  • Feel like the title is inaccurate. That may be the best way to learn, but I dont think with that advice you can instantly learn 6 languages. I feel like some people have brains that have a proclivity towards languages
