    • Those Cats seem to have an unusually gentle nature! They can see that the Ducks are vulnerable babies and genuinely do not want to harm them!

  • Piano, the youngest, seems to have less fear of the "new things" - which makes perfect sense. More relaxed than the older ones, and still learning through investigation and intense, fearless curiosity; kind of like very small kids.

  • Lead kitty (Pizza?) is trying to figure out where their back legs are and how they can walk without them! Wonderfully entertaining! Beautiful picture in closing with all 3 resting on kitty and kitty just fine with them! Thank you for sharing! (I have chickens and learned one duck can protect entire flock with warnings and I think attacks. They protected each other here even this young!)

  • I rised two ducklings and ad n older ct then these. Th ey got along great! Lots of fun they were. They would play tag, going from living room to the kitchen and aroud and around, no one ever go mean or hurt. Cat thought they were buddies. I can't wait til Springtime next year! This time I'm going to get a little kiddy pool for them to play in. And easily dump the diry water out for them. Close by the garden, or flowers. Lol so much fun!

  • Erstaunlich, dass die Katzen den Entchen nichts antun. Sie scheinen sogar sich vor ihnen zu fürchten. Sie verstecken sich ja oder flüchten sogar vor ihnen. I Ich meine, es sind doch Vögel, noch dazu junge Vögel. Normalerweise fangen und fressen Katzen Vögel, die kleiner sind als sie selbst. Aber diese Katzen haben wohl noch nie junge Enten gesehen und auch nicht von der Mutter gelernt, dass man sie fangen kann. Sie sind sehr freundlich zu ihnen und kuscheln sogar mit ihnen, und die Entchen denken wohl: Wunderschön hier, wie bei Mama Ente. Paradiesisch, wie ein Wunder.
