Most times it seems like the driver isn't even a teen and likely not driving dad's car. Seems like most are probably the owners and just lack skill.
@@kennetho5393 Nah the car had issues for a long time. I had the same results with losing the rear from fox onwards. More frod poor engineering is all. Neve had any issues with GM and others.

I had a solid axle fox body years ago. I was running 275 rear and 255 front and that's all she ever needed for handling. There was never a time I felt not in control for the 6 years I had the car

A great montage of ill fated Mustangs, thank you, my dream has now died. A car I've wanted since watching the great one in Bullitt when I was knee high to a grasshopper. I am though now having a change of heart & mind as I've wondered why any dash cam video set will always show at least one Mustang determined to go off & meet it's maker. Is this the car or the driver or both in combination that will insure the driver has at least a partial if not full lobotomy once sat comfortable in it..I think I will stay with my Aston Martin's, the dream doesn't always end in tragic circumstances or needing major surgery. Thank You !!

Bullshit. High performance car, low performance driver. The car has NOTHING to do with it. There are cars with just as much or more power with similar wheelbase and solid axles who manage to slide around corners without plowing into parked cars and pedestrians.
Mustang 5.0 owner here. I honestly have no clue how people get their Mustangs to do any of this. Had mine for 10 years and it being a performance version it's actually not that difficult to drive. It's 100% driver error, not the car.
Main problem with these drivers is not one of them lifts off the throttle when they lose it. Absolutely no throttle control whatsoever, just keep it planted and BANG!. Too much GTA, NFS and other fantasy driving ideas in their heads.

Giving powerful cars to people who can't drive is a recipe for failure - my first car was a Vega wagon. Slow as Christmas. I learned how to drive safely because I had to plan ahead before I pulled out, like getting reservations 3 months in advance to get on I-65. A friend of mine wrecked 3 cars within 2 months of his 16th birthday. 2 Camaros and 1 Monte Carlo.
