    • you mean fake, with many hired audience members (and, family/friends of the pullers). Sadly, most tv shows (which uses a large 'audience', for reactions etc). are mostly all hired background 'actors' (a loose term) now. They used to just 'pad' audiences, but over the years shows have learnt to use fully hired 'audiences'. IIpuerile, uneducated, lacks educational content, manipulates (more then ever), is the cheapest form of tv in history. There are other reasons, but I can feel my IQ drop as soon as I sit down to watch. Kind of glad really, still enjoy old (smarter) tv, from time to time. But not the modern pap they produce.

    • ARMTV Here is a quick summary: I discovered Armwrestling through watching the WAL 406 match for the hammer, and I knew practically nothing about what I was seeing. I showed it to everyone I know to see their reactions, and most everyone said, That’s legal???!!! Since then I got a proper table and have been studying the technical aspects and how different armwrestlers implement techniques into their personal styles. That’s when I learned who some of the most influential people are and were in the sport, how and why the sport is or isn’t promoted, who runs them, how they are reffed, what the rules are and aren’t, it’s never ending and these videos are an incredibly nutrient dense serving of nutrition for the fans’ and athletes’ appetites. Oh and I almost forgot, nobody I know knows who Travis is unless they already follow Armwrestling, and he represents both the athletes and the fans’ enthusiasm in doing whatever it takes to make events happen over the years, as long as he gets paid (which the right way to do it).

Too bad Travis doesn't pull anymore and is all about the money. These videos are awesome. Can't wait to see what else you have. Btw the best part of the video was the ranting about the state of armwrestling right now. It would be beautiful to see the best arm wrestling the best all the time for money, without any contracts or disputes. Now you only see the top guys arm wrestle once every 3 months like they're UFC fighters or something. Still love armwrestling, but man it could be so much better than a lot of the fluff and shit nowadays.

  • So Jerry is flop pressing across the table, but Travis isn't moving his elbow to accommodate that. Which just means his elbow gets pushed off the back, which isn't typically allowed in itself (doing that to your opponent), but Jerry isn't trying to push Travis' elbow off the back of the pad; that's just the direction of his flop press (which is perfectly fine, and it's on Travis to adjust and counter. Since Jerry is still pressing towards the winning side of the table). - Travis does adjust in this manner in round 2 at 10:42 - Jerry is far more of a zen monk these days lol. - 13:56 - That elbow position from Jerry looks suspect, but the elbow bump on the inside of his arm would still be on the pad, which is fine. - 21:50 - Jerry's elbow did seem to be off the front there, although not enough for the ref to give the call. Travis keeping his elbow up, should be seen as forfeiting the round, though. You always keep pulling. Would suck to end it like that though. - Awesome match. Travis was pretty preoccupied with Jerry's elbow. Not sure if that was taking from his performance. Always seemed like he was hitting before the go, but on the slow-mo replay; it doesn't really seem he was. Perhaps.

  • Jerry's elbow looked okay on the third pull. It seems like the common thread between all of Travis's matches is arguments with the refs about setup and elbows. Seems like he'll either flash pin the guy or when the other guy is stronger will just complain until he's fouled out.

  • What a rant from Gary, but I agree 100% . Can you imagine how cool it would be if there was no contract rules that state you can't pull in any other organisation ,everyone should have listened to Gary and you'd all be on a contract were you can pull in any league or organisation. That's the way it should be guys and don't give up on your dreams for armtv bro the sport needs a promoter / organisation like armtv could have been .love ya work dude ,I hope you make armtv all it can be
