Every gun in any cod game has a generic sound with very little difference between pistols and rifles and the shotguns in cod games now sound like an air rifle. Cod suck battlefield has always been the superior game

I have always liked Battlefield, more than CoD not because of realism or graphics, but because BF had a big maps and cluster fucky atmosphere. My online experience with CoD is just people running around in a relatively small map, it always felt ... weird. I still love the campaign version of CoD.

Lord Shrek Yeah they aren't great. But who buys a game to shoot and listen to the sounds. Its cool when its really realistic. But if you really care enough about the sounds of a gun in a game to the point that if they are not just right, its not worth playing, then you are a straight up nerd. J Money also, in cod you can dominate a game on your own. Which gives a sense of Independence. Also you dont have to really play as a team or communicate. In bf you could also run it solo, but you cant dominate a match that way. Teamwork is what makes it fun and makes it so you can win.

u have to check a game like Insurgency (the old one). No crosshair and minimal HUD (you only know how much mags you have). You can get killed only by a few shot (even with pistol). The movement is a little bit slow but the gunfight is so realistic.

the sound designers for call of duty have made multiple recordings of real life weapons for their games. They have documentary videos about doing so for COD: World at War back in 2008.

Cod vs battlefield is really dependent on gameplay and the type of gameplay you prefer. I prefer battlefield because it’s more a war simulator whereas cod is more just an arcade FPS game where kills are important. One thing I like more about battlefield is that the matches feel a lot more immersive and personal. Each match feels different from the last even if it’s on the same map like I’d be in a match where both sides are just demolishing one another while struggling to keep the objective which really made it fun and made capturing the objective really rewarding. When playing Cod I never cared if I won or lost as long as I got a lot of kills but battlefield really is the only game where I actually really care about the objective and utilizing my equipment. I always tell my friends “if you can’t shoot spam the equipment to help your team” and I have a friend I play with that does just that. Anytime anyone gets downed he revived us and drops medcrates and that honestly makes him really valuable compared to the guys getting all the kills. There really is just a lot more you can do in a battlefield match than a cod match. I do enjoy cod here and there but idk battlefield is just a superior game if you’re looking for immersion and big battles

Yeah! This is the only thing thats bothers me. The hands in cod looks way more organic, and the texture is just fine. Bf uses too much of Reel smart motion Blur, making a not a natural feeling. Just imagine If bf had the cod pov animation, would be the best game ever!

not because im a cod fanboy ( cuz im not ) but cod is more of an arcade competitive aimed shooter, so the game is centered around having visible maps with the least distractions as possible. Im more into battlefeild for its immersive gameplay and the intensity of the huge warfare and explosive distraction it offers but sometimes you have to give it to COD for the fast paced ( usually ) well balanced action.

When you compared the sounds of guns firing I got curious do the firing echos sounds different based on the environment say a small room to a cathedral for both games. Not your fault for not trying it occurred to me because of you. But in the sound comparisons and muzzle flash for that matter I wonder if it'll change.

Honest opinion from someone that has played both BF5 and COD : *BF5* Is new game and still is very "bland" it lacks content at the moment. The assault class is the most used at the moment as it has the best gadgets leaving a 64 player lobby with 5 medics (half of which dont understand the word "revive"). BF5 Has more diverse combat with tanks and aircraft which at first were very unbalanced but now seem pretty fair. BF5 Sound is also AMAZING. Graphics are beautiful and i love the fact that if you buy something YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT and not some crappy box that has bias RNG. It has fun game modes that encourage teamwork and are super fun to play with friends. The destruction is beautiful and i use it all the time. *COD WW2* COD Has zombies which is pretty fun and will always be. Graphics are lacking due to Sledgehammer using the same old engine which desperately requires an upgrade. Sadly this also means that sound lacks as well. Gun play is decent its smooth but the recoil seems to easy on the player allowing campers with machine guns to destroy. It lacks in diversity with most guns playing pretty similar and with only few playstyles. Loot boxes. they are a thing and yes COD has them and yes i have gotten like 5billion useless grips that yOu DonT sEe. Lacks destruction and details in obvious points. *Verdict* BF5 is better in graphical/sound/detail overall and its destruction and diversity in play styles makes it a game that i would probably be playing 2-3years down the line, but AT THE MOMENT its very bland lacking content (Maps, guns, etc) COD has fun fast pace gun play and zombies (COD Haters just try it? Its fun), but it heavily lacks in graphical/sound/diversity everything that BF is great at. They are both better at different things but personally i think BF is better value for your money but is hard to get good at and COD is more for chill gamers.

I have some suggestions for online games: 1- enable long shooting heavy bullets with tanks wich falls from sky, 2- enable speaking with enemy or every player we choose during the game, 3-enable to hear environment near of a player who speaks during the game. It can change game to be more exitement.

I noticed the carbine rifle would seem like it would eject the bullet casing really early, there’s a reason for that guns like the carbine malfunctioned a lot in the Second World War because the cocking mechanism would not have enough space to feed another bullet or it doesn’t move back far enough to allow the casing to escape this could be done on purpose because other guns like the German rifles did this a lot aswell this could be a glitch or it could have been done on purpose

Mentioned the issue if cartridges being ejected prematurely... watched that clip half a dozen times on the slowest playback speed youtube allows and to me the muzzle flash happens fraction of a second before the shell is ejected... baring in mind in real life a cartridge is ejected a fraction of a millisecond after it is fired 🤔🤔

I have always liked Battlefield, more than CoD not because of realism or graphics, but because BF had a big maps and cluster fucky atmosphere. My online experience with CoD is just people running around in a relatively small map, it always felt ... weird. I still love the campaign version of CoD.

Devin Hansen Yeah, I just love watching the craft. So much work put into each aspects. I'm just amazed with Battlefield's "emptying" sound as the guns fire and emits a gradually different sound towards the end of the magazine. Insanely great!
It's a shame EA pulled what they did with BfV, otherwise, I hear it's a decent Battlefield game. EDIT: Glad to hear they righted their wrongs on this. DICE has always been good at fixing their problems and I do agree, the game is really good.

u have to check a game like Insurgency (the old one). No crosshair and minimal HUD (you only know how much mags you have). You can get killed only by a few shot (even with pistol). The movement is a little bit slow but the gunfight is so realistic.

the sound designers for call of duty have made multiple recordings of real life weapons for their games. They have documentary videos about doing so for COD: World at War back in 2008.

Cod vs battlefield is really dependent on gameplay and the type of gameplay you prefer. I prefer battlefield because it’s more a war simulator whereas cod is more just an arcade FPS game where kills are important. One thing I like more about battlefield is that the matches feel a lot more immersive and personal. Each match feels different from the last even if it’s on the same map like I’d be in a match where both sides are just demolishing one another while struggling to keep the objective which really made it fun and made capturing the objective really rewarding. When playing Cod I never cared if I won or lost as long as I got a lot of kills but battlefield really is the only game where I actually really care about the objective and utilizing my equipment. I always tell my friends “if you can’t shoot spam the equipment to help your team” and I have a friend I play with that does just that. Anytime anyone gets downed he revived us and drops medcrates and that honestly makes him really valuable compared to the guys getting all the kills. There really is just a lot more you can do in a battlefield match than a cod match. I do enjoy cod here and there but idk battlefield is just a superior game if you’re looking for immersion and big battles

Man I played cod ww2 campaign in 2021 and lemme tell you... I was really amazed by how good it looks... Battlefield always over-does the effects. Other than that... I just loved cod ww2 campaign... The atmosphere... High production value cutscenes... Well written campaign and characters... Awesome.

Yeah! This is the only thing thats bothers me. The hands in cod looks way more organic, and the texture is just fine. Bf uses too much of Reel smart motion Blur, making a not a natural feeling. Just imagine If bf had the cod pov animation, would be the best game ever!

not because im a cod fanboy ( cuz im not ) but cod is more of an arcade competitive aimed shooter, so the game is centered around having visible maps with the least distractions as possible. Im more into battlefeild for its immersive gameplay and the intensity of the huge warfare and explosive distraction it offers but sometimes you have to give it to COD for the fast paced ( usually ) well balanced action.

Love the detail in BF5 how the gun sound changes depending on the number of shots left.
Games have been doing that for like 10 years you cant call it a detail anymore.
When you compared the sounds of guns firing I got curious do the firing echos sounds different based on the environment say a small room to a cathedral for both games. Not your fault for not trying it occurred to me because of you. But in the sound comparisons and muzzle flash for that matter I wonder if it'll change.

Honest opinion from someone that has played both BF5 and COD : *BF5* Is new game and still is very "bland" it lacks content at the moment. The assault class is the most used at the moment as it has the best gadgets leaving a 64 player lobby with 5 medics (half of which dont understand the word "revive"). BF5 Has more diverse combat with tanks and aircraft which at first were very unbalanced but now seem pretty fair. BF5 Sound is also AMAZING. Graphics are beautiful and i love the fact that if you buy something YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT and not some crappy box that has bias RNG. It has fun game modes that encourage teamwork and are super fun to play with friends. The destruction is beautiful and i use it all the time. *COD WW2* COD Has zombies which is pretty fun and will always be. Graphics are lacking due to Sledgehammer using the same old engine which desperately requires an upgrade. Sadly this also means that sound lacks as well. Gun play is decent its smooth but the recoil seems to easy on the player allowing campers with machine guns to destroy. It lacks in diversity with most guns playing pretty similar and with only few playstyles. Loot boxes. they are a thing and yes COD has them and yes i have gotten like 5billion useless grips that yOu DonT sEe. Lacks destruction and details in obvious points. *Verdict* BF5 is better in graphical/sound/detail overall and its destruction and diversity in play styles makes it a game that i would probably be playing 2-3years down the line, but AT THE MOMENT its very bland lacking content (Maps, guns, etc) COD has fun fast pace gun play and zombies (COD Haters just try it? Its fun), but it heavily lacks in graphical/sound/diversity everything that BF is great at. They are both better at different things but personally i think BF is better value for your money but is hard to get good at and COD is more for chill gamers.

I have some suggestions for online games: 1- enable long shooting heavy bullets with tanks wich falls from sky, 2- enable speaking with enemy or every player we choose during the game, 3-enable to hear environment near of a player who speaks during the game. It can change game to be more exitement.

Call of Duty is a franchise that stopped evolving. Every year is the same bloody thing and because of that I wasn't surprised when was announced that Black Ops 4 would have no campaign. It will change when people stop buying it. Which I think won't happen since the "gaming community" is not remarkable for their brain usage.

I noticed the carbine rifle would seem like it would eject the bullet casing really early, there’s a reason for that guns like the carbine malfunctioned a lot in the Second World War because the cocking mechanism would not have enough space to feed another bullet or it doesn’t move back far enough to allow the casing to escape this could be done on purpose because other guns like the German rifles did this a lot aswell this could be a glitch or it could have been done on purpose
I LOVE both but they all have their pros and cons. Battlefield has the graphics and COD has the immersive story

Mentioned the issue if cartridges being ejected prematurely... watched that clip half a dozen times on the slowest playback speed youtube allows and to me the muzzle flash happens fraction of a second before the shell is ejected... baring in mind in real life a cartridge is ejected a fraction of a millisecond after it is fired 🤔🤔
