Lucas, Drew, and Eric are running simple drills that isolate various fundamentals. From simple warm ups that isolate trigger management to reload drills, to shooting on the move. Isolation is key to master the basics.
Finally I have an example to show people when they ask me what's wrong with going to a static shooting range, they need to do stuff like this!
+Christopher Koontz :)
You're One of The Best Shooters On KZhead. Bad Ass.
T.REX ARMS what setup do you use for the pistol holster to ride that low? Ragnarok, leg strap and what else? thanks
safariland UBL mid ride and leg strap. i use one with an rti wheel.
Well this is more competition shooting. Definitely a good display of how well you can use a firearm, but when people say non-static training they generally mean force on force where the targets are not defined and you don't move down a shooting lane, but you react to the actors in order to train how you handle situations and when you use lethal force. You can learn from all kinds of shooting. Static training can teach you basic fundamentals, competition shooting helps you get used to incorporating movement and target transition as well as exercise and mental stress of the timer. Force on force puts it all together and binds the mindset and your knowledge of the legal system into one complete package.
For some reason I could watch this for hours. Oddly satisfying.
I second that. Seem like a pretty good drill
lol I was just going to type that.
This shooting range is something I would like to have in my backyard.
no kidding.
Right? I can’t be the only one that thought of mortgaging the house
I just want to know where you get a piece of land like this.
We would be just as good as these guys if we had these perks.
If you live outside of town, have a couple of acres, it wouldn't be difficult. You could build a range the size of a football field (1.32 acres), for relatively cheap, though time consuming. Start by talking to local construction companies, and ask where they dump their dirt (sometimes they have to pay to dump it at X location), then tell them they can dump for free on your land, which they may take you up on. Rent a dozer, and start pushing dirt...as long as your berms are 10-12 feet high, you should be golden, unless you're a terrible shot. Think of all the fun you can have in a space that big.
Your pistol reloads are on a whole other level...
+Coyote Tactical Solutions thanks bro!
Yeah, it like the mags are lubed with butter. You don’t even hear a click of the mag hitting anything!
@@TREXARMS where can i learn to shoot like this?
Your reloads are no joke.
Kalvin Reagan his reload is slow. Only when played in slow motion.
Kalvin Reagan Hahaha You ain’t lyin
So are those skinny jeans
Yeah he sucks
@@magi7774 what
when garrand thumb and john lovell say this guy is the man..you better believe it..!
For real haha
Shills promoting shills.
@@domenik8339 how lol
Seriously though, much love to your cameraman. I'm assuming he's running a gimbal with whatever camera you guys run for production but hell, he's got smooth drags and he has really good dynamic flow with his shots. Props and kudos to the editing crew for good shots and cuts too.
I absolutely love these montages they do. Gets me so HYPED!!
Your range is freakin awesome, and your shooting is pretty dang impressive. You earned yourself another sub!
I remain impressed by the time and effort put in these videos 👏
I wish I had a range near me where I could do run and guns. Stationary shooting at the local range is getting kinda boring...
Sounds dumb, but I used a glock 34 airsoft pistol to practice transitions and holster work when live fire was not available. Helped considerably during the colder months when everyone else is sitting on their couch watching KZhead training videos.
@@norfolknwhey4787 I'm not sure why that sounds dumb. That is what professionals do. People that care about training and their wallets do just about whatever they can to satisfy both
You guys have shooting ranges? 😁
@@tatarugabriel4328 no we shoot in our fields round these parts
Robert Crow working fundamentals with the dry fires that the air soft basically provides is still good work and better than nothing!!
Be careful with your reload on 0:36. A little faster and you could break the sound barrier. Holy sh*t man...
+Frederik Claeyssens hahaha. Thanks man
Frederik Claeyssens haha man i was thinking the same thing I've never seen a reload so smooth
Yeah he's got that mag in there before the empty one hits the ground.
A little faster and he'd have 2 mags in the gun hahaha
Looked like a freakin Robot.
Thank you for this video!! It’s been helping me put my son to sleep for months!!! He’s one year old now and loves guns and watching me shoot!! So he loves this video!!! I’m going to order a sidecar when I get back from restoring power in Puerto Rico!!! Love your stuff!!! Keep up the good work!!!
Excellent videos, directly to the point. Keep them coming!
One of the things I noticed is that you truly shoot 2-3 feet back from the holes and the window & the other two men almost put the pistol through them. Much respect too you!
Another pistol and rifle drills, its amazing..
this was great, many thanks for making and posting. youre the inspiration man.
Jesus you have this miraculous way of making shooting so damn entertaining.
Nádherné video. Je vidieť, že to máte perfektne nadrilované.
smooth as butter on the reload MY GOD.
This video makes me want to practice more and more. Thanks guys..
I never seen anything like this, god level reload, very well sir, I am very happy to part of this channel.
The reloads this guy does is so freaking smooth
Thumbs up to the cameraman
Damn these guys are xtra deadly as hell lol. Much respect for the discipline and dedication.
Lucas is maybe one of the best civilian shooters on KZhead. That's a bad man on drills!! He runs so fluid it amazes me.
I still cant get over how fucking accurate your movements are! Dude its like you're a machine!
Practice, practice, practice!
Let’s get some more content please, been missing you Lucas. Love the videos, keep up the great work.
Awesome, inspiring! Wish I could find a range like that!
Operators, operating! Good stuff. Keep posting videos! 🤙🏼
Watching the smoothness of action at full speed is like getting an eye massage
Awesome stuff, great videos.

Vídeo mais inspirador de todos , deu vontade de treinar mais e mais isso qe é coisa boa abraço do brazil🤝🇧🇷
Y’all are awesome! Great video
Love the vids. Keep em coming. 👍
Thats good training, I run a sopmod block 1 and I love it. keep up the good videos with that sopmod.
Dang! Lucas is a beast behind the gun. Awesome vid.
Hey Lucas, awesome video as always. Do you know when the Ragnarok for the Glock 17 comes back in stock and do you guys ship worldwide (because I live in Germany)?
Ha ha I just got it T-Rex Arms that's funny.
Because they deal in small arms business.
Enough said, keep them coming!!!!
Nah...this guy is a robot. Not a real person. Fucking skynet taking over.
love your conclusion. Cyberdine at it again.
+FollowMeInfantry hahaha
FollowMeInfantry Ha Ha!! Right! Hes a robot dude!!
Cyberdine system T808
Just subscribed based off of this one video. Unreal. Surprised I've been under a rock this whole time and haven't seen this stuff.
Pretty new to shooting. Just started watching your videos and I am excited to try some of your training techniques. What are you doing with your pointer finger when you shoot the rifles? It looks like you're clearing the ejection port. I didn't see the others do it so you have me curious.
great stuff as always!! now im motivated to practice more, buy ammo and train train train! keep it up lucas!
Great video, you rock man!
As always very good watching !!!!
The younger gentleman had his tool bags on. He was ready to go to work, lol. Nice job guys that was a fun video to watch.
Man this guy makes it look so easy!
Super beautiful shooting !!♥
I love how Lucas shoots better than %90 of these know-it-all KZheadrs that claim to be tier 1 operators.
MAYH3M0NE shooting good doesn't mean a whole lot especially once your fine motor skills go out the window during high stress situations. Anyone can run a repeat drill until done perfectly.
You are right about high stress and a combat situation. People do operate differently, but I do have to give credit to Lucas, he does run his guns and gear well.
All it take is some training to be an operator. This kid has part of the formula to succeed! Mindset, manipulation, and marksmanship! Good on you!!
MAYH3M0NE, you do know that performing under fire and being a professional range shooter are two totally different things right? No disrespect to the range pros here, but to you have an unlimited amounts of outcomes you have to overcone under fire, TRUST ME.
Pedro Ruiz, you can't train heart, guts and will, just sayin.
Respect from Brazil to USA 🇧🇷🤝🇺🇸
More videos, please! Nice work!
Best video ever!!!
Im convinced this is heaven.
That looks so fun!
Lucas shooting skills are so crispy.
Ding the pistol right handed then rifle left handed! Amazing gentlemen just amazing keep pushing yourselves!
what a flash quick change mag...amazing
Jacked and strapped! This video was motivational.
Great job guys! Clearly you have put the time and energy in. Keep up the good work!
+Robert Holmes will do!
Hey man, quick question for you. I have small hands so im looking for a slide release for my Glock 19. any recommendations? which one do you use?
RedTrauma ghost inc has what you need
Outstanding!!!
Great video !! SISTER did the job 💪💪
Excellent training
I's like to see more videos on your scar and how you're running it and have it set up. I have one and I'm undecided on which is the best side to run the charging handle. I see you're running on the left side. Why do you feel that works best?
wow, i want to set up a range training like this with my buds now, Thanks for the inspiration!
Andrew Dam I designed all of my targets to be "mobile" at my range, at home. So that way, me, and my buddies can meet up somewhere, and set up a run 'n' gun course almost every Sunday. We ALWAYS have a blast!!!! You can have a ton of fun with a dozen targets, and a shot timer.
That looks like soooo much fun. I need to find a range like this somewhere.
Had to sub after that video. Nice job, so methodical precision! Lucas dude bro fast as f...
Superb accurate & fast.
hi lucas, awesome video 😃👍 i wanted to ask do you have MR556?
FANTASTIC !!! 🎯👏👏👏
Songname?
What music was used?
Amazing skills!!! Awesome video!!Respect from Greece!! What's the song?
มืออาชีพ...สุดๆครับ เทคนิคดีมากครับ
That was awesome.🇺🇸
Do those pieces of plywood with the cutouts that simulate concealment/cover have names? I ask because I would like to research shapes to make for myself. Thanks
Awesome, good stance I salute you sir
How do you determine where your threshold for speed and accuracy are ? and which do you value more?
This drill looks fun AF
@T.REX ARMS What mic are you using for sound? Great shooting 🤙🏼
Man that was such a sick video. I wish I could have a scar 17 in Canada. In your opinion I’m debating on getting a Daniel defense MK18 or a Daniel defense DDM4V5 for my first Ar15. With Canada’s gun laws at 15 are restricted so I can only take to the range.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks
Skinny dude with the reloads is damn quick! Annnnd hes rockin that scar!
Holy crap! Props to the dude with no rmr!
Love that block 1.5. Nobody runs em anymore cause they aren't popular in the industry. @t.rex arms keep doin it! Dedicate another vid to this
+Derek Reinshagen will do! Love my 1.5
Nice!! Very nice!! We have similar preferences (one hand shot;weak hand cross chest).
Bro reload was so smooth... I had to go back the first time
Que mal que yt no tenga el boton me encanta... porque este canal lo vale...
Awesome! 🔥
Finally! Another lefty out here in the shooting world
I genuinely am curious, is there a technique that can be used to reload rifle or sidearm quickly that doesn't require taking my eyes off the target? Or am I just projecting?
Man, Lucas has Bruce Lee Jedi speed on those reloads😆
These still look pretty cool. Great shooting
Amazing boys 💪🏼🔫
I cannot believe i didn't find this sooner this shit is so cool
Man running the scar though thumping his way through that course
Is that red dot mounted on a milled slide or a mount replacing the rear sight? I kept trying to pause it. My off duty is a Glock 27 and want to throw on a red dot. What kind is the one you were shooting? Leopoldo delta is what I’ve been checking out any thoughts on that red dot? Thanks great channel
man that looks so fun!
Your cameramen is working really hard 😂😂😉 Keep it up men 👍👍
