I have no idea how covid originated, but China's refusal to allow proper investigation into the origin has allowed this debate to continue.
I mean, every country has the right to national sovereignty. It’s kind of the point of what’s going on in Ukraine if Russia or China or North Korea had said it was the United States that was responsible and they admitted to see all of our top secret bases. We would probably have some negative opinions on that idea.

@Cameron Weaver They accidentally leaked it on their own people, but when they allowed it to leave the country, that was on purpose because they lied about it existing when it first happened, and then they said it was racist to stop any form of physical interaction with them after the fact. There is also no proof that it is a natural origin, despite the best efforts. Meanwhile, we have evidence that the Chinese government cleaned up the lab's records and that the US funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan institute before the potential leak. When a murderer is allowed to take all the evidence and the police are prevented from doing their job, it is difficult to find the truth but we know what is most likely.
