  • 42:38 this is definitely Mathew's signature move lmao. He pulled this off multiple times throughout the tournament and its always worked. Definitely a great pick for Hollywood Freerunners. A newcomer going toe-to-toe against the best team in WCT (and against Bear no less) is kinda an understatement for how good he is. The Finals were fantastic!

    • Tbh this will finally turn Kyle into an amazing CT player, instead of just great/really good. Got tired of HF relying on him- this is a good catalyst for the sport, his team, and him, personally. Lad is actually pretty cool, too. Edit: Said as someone who originally “hated” him/how much everybody seemed to be fawning over his raw+trained speed and excellent control. CT Power is calculated different, though. Have a whole list of vets that would LOVE to see play each other. 😂 Literally our favorite sport!

    @fadishadi8855@fadishadi88555 ай бұрын
    • The only problem with the longer videos is that youtube really likes shorter videos. Ever since they introduced shorts, the platform has been consistently pushing shorter videos, likely in an effort to apppeal to ridiculously short attention spans nowadays.

    • @@appletree13 yeah true, but I think they can make 3 forms, championship 50mins, match 10mins, evasion short, from same content it is the only sport Ive seen that u can watch a round in a short 😅 so I dont think it is that hard to adapt with different types of audience 🤷‍♂️

    • I actually really miss the single match videos (not the shorts though - I hate this mobile cancer). I usually just watched 1-2 over dinner or when I had some time to spare and with this format, it takes more time to navigate to a particular match I haven't seen yet (or when I want to rewatch one). I hope it will come back - the 10 min bits were perfect IMHO... If this new format is to stay, I don't think I'll be watching future WCT events (and I used to love it). Since WCT6 USA, every time I got a new notification from WCT, I got excited for a new MATCH video, only to feel disappointed it's another long one, which I didn't feel like watching in one sitting (and I don't like to watch long videos in parts either). Already cancelled my membership as this is not the content I subscribed for 😢 For me, KZhead is a place where I go when I feel like just relaxing for 5-30 min. Longer than that? I'd rather watch a movie instead.

Especially proud of GNF for making it this far without Laine, would have been fascinating to see a rematch of the classic HF/GNF pairing with such a different iteration of the latter team. Kudos to Sean for an absolutely beautiful evasion against Sun, and to Devon for neutralizing Kyle far more effectively than i think we've ever seen before. APK Blue have drastically evolved and are no doubt top contenders and absolutely deserve to be in World Championships. I can’t express how happy I am for my boys APEX Sun. While I’m bummed for my guys on Hollywood because I know how bad they wanted to finally pull a win in the finals, I was also overflowing with joy because I knew Devin’s backstory, and WOW what a dream like outcome seeing him rise to his highest potential as such a smart coach and player. Each and every one of the APEX Sun players stepped up huge in this tournament, and the Hollywood guys made it definitively clear that it wasn’t a given either with 3 different tags only a couple hundredths of a second from a different branch of reality, Matthew only inches away from that foot tag. I’m inspired by this Hollywood team and I’m grateful to have been given an opportunity to play alongside them. Big ups to every team in this event for putting in your time and resources and pouring your hearts out to make this sport so fun to watch. • These are all interesting takes but if we watch this comp over it was myself and Sean scoring points and Adam coming in clutch with tagging some players that were going to give us trouble. Coming top 4 which hasn’t happened since 2020 I’d say gnf is in a good state. Also have to remember back in Texas we had 4 players because Adam broke his foot and this year we only had 5 because laine getting injured prior.
