    • In most cases the trainer is just needing to give the dog guidance while training the owners who continuously give the dog mixed, inconsistent and confusing messages. You’ll ever meet a good pet owner who is inconsistent in their messaging to their pet.

    • I notice a lot of women feed the bad, aggressive, territorial or possessive behaviors they develop around the female owner because they don’t actually want the dog to change the behavior. They get off on the dog getting aggressive to anyone but them which is incredibly dangerous and selfish because that dog bites someone and you now have a dog that can possibly be euthanized. They know this and don’t care because they use the dog to feed their own twisted low self worth and insecurities. They actually give positive reinforcement to bad behavior wanting it to continue rather than stop to protect people and the dog.

I might change my leash soon by adding the ones sold by this guy or the dog whisper the trainer that corrects bad dog behavior also.? Fits closer to the jaw than the neck. None of the dogs react to any pain on their throats . or chest from the harness.

I've had rottweilers for almost 20 years. Right now training a big male with a huge working drive. Tools are essential. Thank you for your work.

    • Especially diversifying tools! I had plenty of very sweet and gentle dogs that did brilliantly with positive only, however with a working dog or guarding dog breed and it becomes much more needed with correction. All depends on the individual animal. We have a nearly 5 month old poodle mix, very sweet girl and the same people who say she's wonderfully behaved in the same breath will tell me I'm a big old meanie for not furbabying her in treatment...while their dogs drag-race them up the pavement and lunge snapping at anything that wriggles.

There is time for appropriate correction, but my dog does not fear me. I know I'll never get to meet you but you definitely got my vote. !!! I know from working with horses on ranches and rodeos and stuff people don't believe it but a horse can feel a fly land on their skin Then they can feel my emotions on the reins that has me in control of my horse if I'm in a bad mood they know it. if I'm in a good mood we have an awesome ride to me this is almost the same as training the dogs a person has to learn just how to read these animals not abuse them....

In this way you do not harm trust and bond, the dog does not become fearful to make their own (well trained) decisions by stringing together knowledge. So much more. • @@koolaboola1345...another adult child over here too. Basically had to ban the adult child from all dog related activities. Had no other alternative. No feeding the dog anything, no treats, no walking the dog at all, we do it all ourselves to minimise the Chaos. Ive never known an adult would behave that way. Before, the dog had many surprise accidents in the house. At the times to be taking the dog out for pee pee, he repeat, " But the dog doesnt even want to go out, you re wrong! !" Pretends dog is being a nuisance wanting something else. Then the dog gets treats from adult child, then we have pee on the floor and adult child is thrilled about the mess, the commotion, the disruption. Its better now for adult child to have none to very minimal involvement with anything dog related in the home. Now, no more accidents in the home and dog is much happier. 😊

  • You seem to have a perfect understanding of dog psychology. Allowing a dog to lead themselves and be independent actually causes them to react with stress. Dogs are born to seek the alpha, and when no one around them exhibits alpha traits, they assume the role of alpha. Dogs are happy, content, and at peace to follow their owners once their owners have trained the dog to respect them as the alpha in the relationship. A stressed out, angry animal is a sign of a dog that doesn't know who to follow.

  • Bro...I don't even have a dog and I subscribed. What many don't realize is so many people give up or abandon "problem" dogs way too often, and those dogs are eventually euthanized. I am glad you are doing something to reduce that number. Keep it up and ignore the naysayers.

    @thelionprince4530@thelionprince4530 Жыл бұрын
    • Sadly, you're so right. However, the word euthanasia needs to be changed so what happens to those dogs doesn't sound so mild. Those dogs die horrible deaths in gas chambers. They aren't humanely put to sleep the way the family pet is euthanized. Dogs that get dumped die a very horrible, painful, lingering death. It's the worst kind of euthanasia.

Dog Daddy's quick training session show these dogs that he is the leader & shows the owners how to convey that to the dog also. Most dogs are happy to let their owners take that lead. It's great to see so many dogs thriving after a training session. Not cowering in fear. The results really speak for themselves.

What people do not understand is that without guidance, redirection and showing them who is in control, that’s what’s causes dogs who have aggressive behavior or anxieties in general. Same concept with raising a child, you don’t need to treat them badly, but you need to guide them in the right direction, in order to flourish and be completely and truly happy and successful! All of which is something to be proud of. Before the sensitive Karen’s jump in, no I’m not comparing dogs and kids but it’s still the same *concept.* love and care rules all. Some people are just naturally born with the gifts & abilities that are necessary, to teach & guide others, in the right direction.

She was super protective but her protectiveness went to far sometimes and she sometimes was pretty dangerous around strangers. I remember one time me and my mom were walking her and a guy passed us on the sidewalk and she tried to lunge and bite the guy on the face. Several time I had friends over and just us wrestling around would get the dog to the point where she would want to attack my friends. We ended up giving her away because her protectiveness really started to get outta control. I miss that dog and wish she would have gotten the proper training she deserved. Rip Cheyanne.

She was a crazy puller and felt like she would injure me and herself. After we established that we switched to a gentle leader and now at 2 years old we are on a flat collar. The gentle leader is the most hated by her and she instantly falls in line when I put it on her, so I keep it in my pocket just incase she has a moment of regression. I'd say if you love your dog, try these tools and see what your dog responds to with the help of a trainer. My 10 month old great Pyrenees/Border Collie however was the easiest dog to train on the leash ever. Every dog is different!

  • Dearest Augusto, it's SO good to see so many misunderstood dogs being so easily sorted out. The way you comprehend the world from any dog's point of view - and then quickly establish peace in the dog's mind, no matter the issue! - is absolutely BRILLIANT. You understand the necessity of establishing you are the Alpha - this is NOT a 'dominance' thing, it's about how dogs think, they TRUST the alpha to make the best decisions, this is proven to them quickly and easily, requiring only consistency - it really doesn't take long. If you DON'T establish that YOU are the Wise and Kind ALPHA (whenever there is uncertainty in the dog - that shows as aggression or other problematic behaviours) then the dog quickly decides that it knows better than you in, and in any trigger situation, reacts accordingly and you have problems. Doggy Daddy knows that it's SO easy to fix. It's SAVING LIVES. SO MANY PEOPLE USE A SLEDGEHAMMER INSTEAD OF A FLY-SWAT Most people : Dog is problematic, let's put it down. Dog Daddy (& other reasonable people) : let's teach the dog to be ok, no matter what.❤ When animals suffer, it's always humans who need to learn something. Dear Augusto, please never stop being the Doggy Daddy, you are helping countless dogs and humans, but above all, you save people's sanity, lol and you SAVE SO MANY DOGS LIVES. • This is absolutely AMAZING 👏🏾 Thank you sooo much for your genuine care and also explaining every method, tool, reasons, etc..and most importantly, thanks so much for sharing this with us!!💕 There are TONS of people out there whose lives are truly taken over to the fullest by their dog.. and that's traumatizing for both owners and dogs..and thru no fault of the owner or dog, but just a lack of knowledge, proper tools and methods, and someone to teach them all about it.. I'm certain you have absolutely literally SAVED tons of dogs lives from being put down, and SAVED tons of owners from giving up or losing their mind and making bad choices!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Thanks again I love everything about this❤ You are helping people and dogs every day to better their daily lives, while saving lives, and that's just an amazing calling that you have Sir..BRAVO 💯
