  • The French at 6:37 , they are the "French Cossacks". A team made of multiple teams, they are not just tough, there are also both effective and well equiped. They are the kind of hardcore players equiped with NVG and IR lasers and flashlights. In Borderwar 10 they did some night ambushed and filmed it.

Once he got a reasonable explanation as for why he was hit in the face at such close range, he immediately accepted it and moved on very graciously. So good to see, because there are so many videos of manchild airsofters FREAKING OUT and throwing tantrums at being hit in the head from much greater distances.

  • Just curious. I'm an army vet, I'm looking into getting into airsoft/milsim. What are the differences if any from the military training exercises im used to, as well how does the player merit hold up.

    • So airsoft is a very interesting experience, I've done it a few times, but not to the large overnight scales has some of these shows. If you're looking to go down over to a urban/warehouse field the players there may not be as good of a sport. But I'm sure that most will. As for the training exercises, there are a few rules that make it so you can't do some stuff, as you would in combat. But overall it's a very fun and exciting experience.
