Hey guys! Thanks for tuning in! New JDM Master host here, Doston. Some of you already know me from my other channel @Garagedefend I will be making some JDM videos here time to time from now on. We shot this video in 2020 when I bought this NISMO CRS GTR R34 VSPEC for myself, but never got the time to edit up the video properly and upload. I hope you enjoy this movie, and have a fabulous day!
I was excited to see capt Bradford back, but then saw the comments that said he wasn’t in this. Sorry but JDM masters isn’t JDM masters without him.

Hello from Germany Congrats on getting this masterpiece of car history!!!! To answer your question yes it's true. Here in Germany we have the so called: "Autobahn" which has parts where your allowed to drive over 130kmh (~80mph). It's a myth that all is tempolimit free. My personal record is 265kmh (~165mph)😉. So beautiful as it looks as bad it is. No car insurance will take responsibility in case of an accident, but at the same time nobody cares about it🤣🤣
Been a while since I have seen a video from this channel. It definitely doesn't disappoint. I would like to see at least an update video at least every 4 weeks since the content you provide is really good but if circumstances do not allow it then it is what it is.

Beautiful Car. Happy for ya man. It’s crazy a year ago knowing nothing much about the R34 cuz I’m from California and it wasn’t legal here. Fast forward a year later and my own R34 Grade 4 is arriving this summer ❤ can’t believe it. This video is what got me started n understanding Japans auction grade. Thanks 🙏

Viewer from germany here... Yes we have parts of our highway system (Autobahn) without any speed restrictions. but also a lot has speed and other limits based on the occasion (drive off/on, construction/maintanance, for traffic controll - sometimes you get a speedlimit 120km/h or even less in front of an traversing a bridge and if near settlements etc. Let's say we have some of the Autobahn free to drive as fast as... but not anymore as like 25yrs ago..

Yup pretty much this. Also even the fully derestricted areas still often have traffic that wont just allow you to go as fast as you want. But yes some areas and at certain times you can go as fast as your car and skills allow. Also normal roads outside of cities usually allow you to go 100kmh or 70kmh near intersections or narrow roads.
Friendly reminder!!! There are still parts on the Autobahn without a speed limit. But court decision point to another direction… It is the law that you must adapt your driving to the situation and have full control of your vehicle at all times. If you drive more than 250km on the highway, this is not the case. In case of an accident, you are fully to blame and not insured.
Absolute dreamcar.. Total beast.. so cool it puts newer cars to shame.. This is just holy grail of JDM cars.. One day I will own one.
Holy Grail may be worth a lot but we'll get smoked by a modern civic on the street.🤣

for a guy who owns so many gtr and when driving this new car still puts a smile on his face just a amazing ❤
It's a shame they didn't make the R35 more of an incremental improvement over the R34... Like perhaps with an aluminium/alloy RB block, more aluminium body/suspension components, battery in the boot (like evo x), slight increase in power and maybe a slightly longer wheelbase (but less overhang) so the rear seats could be more usable like in R33... If they did this immediately after the last of the R34 in ~'02 then they could have dodged much of the safety compromises that ruined the EVO X and that EVO's 7-9 were comparatively free from. Just my 2c.
It has 33 as a class # on the plate, so definitely long term one owner car. That number was available back around 20 years ago and nowadays we have three digits instead of two.

Loved the video Doston, especially the shots at the end. Driving down a Japanese highway, windows down, sun glistening off those carbon fibre bonnet vents...thats what life as a car guy is all about. The title says its a CRS, I might have missed it but did you mention anything about it being a CRS in the video? Is the CRS a limited production run or its just pretty much a full spec Nismo car? Top quality as always.
Crs stands for clubman race spec. You can ask nismo to turn your R32 to R34 with CRS treatment

Thanks dude for all the impressions in this movie! This beast is such a crazy car! I drove the R33 and thank god I had the chance to drive the R34 V-Spec II Nür! And I could drive it on a race track in Portugal! It was like heaven on earth! I drove a lot of nice cars, like the Audi R8, 911 Turbo, Gallardo GTR and so on. But nothing beats the Godzilla R34!! It makes the most fun to go fast in curves on the track. Most people want to drive fast on higways, I understand. But on a track with lot of curves is the absolutely playground for the R34 GTR!
I don’t get the concept of the video. May capt bradford is busy doing his own stuff because he saw how the albo projects turn into car auction and export advertising instead of documentaries 😂
Plus the fact that the mid night documentary never was released, same with the kanjo one too
@@meanddrew4364 Why should the locals still support them. They are car-salesman and they are outselling the country. Buying dozens of Japanese originals and exporting them to the States or Middle East has destroyed a upcoming generation of car enthusiasts, because they can’t afford the cars anymore.
Albo said on his live stream that there was a fall out. Japonic actually owned the channel and sold it to Garage Defend when he left Japan, who only make videos pushing out their cars to sell as a car dealer. Capt Bradford was strictly an informational channel about cars. Since he did not own the channel, he will no longer make videos for this channel. But he should just start his own channel. It's not hard to do. People who followed this channel will watch it.
@@dennischen8887 Thank you for the explanation that absolutely fucking sucks because all Doston does is overhype r34s he himself sold for 50k 2 years ago. So this channel is now just garage defined 2.0. 🗑 There goes all the variety captain Bradford used to give us and get ready for 24/7 GTR videos.
@@dennischen8887, which Albo's episode mentioned about it? I probably missed it. I think Capt. Bradford has already had his own personal channel which exactly his name. But mostly just short video and he hasn't uploaded almost a year.

according to GTR Registry, BNR34-003258 GGJPRWYR34ZDAAAK-D V-Spec 1999-03 KV2 Athlete Silver which is now CRS KAD Gunmetal S2 engine About the brakes, the customer can choose not to have the R35 Brakes upgrades You also can see there is no half roll cage and the rear passenger seats are still the stock units Nismo Omori is basically a Skyline GT-R owners' wet dream and as long you got deep pockets, you can ask Nismo Omori to build you a full better than Z tune Spec R34 from even a base Skyline GT-R Yea 450K USD est for the factory rebuild spec. It basicallys strips the car down to bare metal and treat the chassis with acid bath and coat the bare metal with anti rust and repair any chassis/frame damage and then slowly rebuild back the car with all new factory OEM parts making the car basically showroom spec and it really meant for collectors imo.

Hello from Germany. its like that: "Autobahn" is simply the word for "Highway". And on the Autobahn there are unrestricted areas where you can drive as fast as your car can do. And yes, there are also a lot of areas where you can only go 130 or 120 ... or sometimes only 80 if theree is a construction obviously. fastes t i did was 262 km/h with my Lancer Evo 9 imported from Japan! :)
