theyre not actually just different creators! they all worked together on this and was planned before hand :D! some of those channels (cynical critic for example) were only made FOR the lore, but yes they all worked fantastically and im happy to see it paying off.

I had seen the muse segments of Alex's videos a while ago, but I had no idea that this went so deep! Its cool that this ARG includes numerous creators! Very cool
(Spoilers maybe?) What I enjoy most about this ARG is actually the commentary of what it takes to be successful as an internet creator. How forsaking your passion and pandering to your audience to get views can turn you into someone you don't recognize, maybe even something alien and monstrous. I feel like the Muse can be seen as a metaphor for selling out, and the conflict between Alex and his Muse can be seen as an internal struggle between his need to make a living and his pride as an artist. I love the horror elements, but the personal narrative of this shouldn't be overlooked.

At 8:04 they show us a similar brown patch over a photo of chickens to the same one of the cows near the end try increasing the exposure on that to to see if there’s lore behind it
What amazes me is that Alex Bale - a relatively unknown creator - was able to coordinate with established channels, create and tell a compelling story across KZhead and all this other stuff. Its AMAZING
Thing is, most of these channels were created for the arg in the first place.
game theory videos is meant for a wide audience with varying attention spans, so everything gets extremely simplified. If you want an actual deep dive to the ARG, you need to find other videos. By the looks of it, everything is planned from the start

Mark has a reason to reveal the muses. He has his own. Ramona Bynes. The tests they did on her caused her to experience a mutation into her own version of the monster, and seemed out Mark to find and reveal the truth for her own revenge.

Alex Bale is literally one of KZhead's best creators. Sucks that he doesn't get enough recognition. Also, fun fact: before HMF, Alex Bale made a Minecraft ARG called OldRoot. Incredibly interesting stuff, I highly recommend digging into it if anyone is interested

Odd. *Eyes the original Happy Meat Farms video* - I've only been waiting for him to do a theory on this again for about 3 weeks.
Sincerely this ARG’s story is brilliant. Stories about creatives being forced into doing a type of content they no longer are invested in aren’t new, but part of what makes this story so effective is the fact that the videos influenced by the Muses are extremely popular, even getting Millions of views, but videos the creator actually wants to make (like Alex’s short horror film between Theory 4 and Theory 5) are much less popular. They are using the systems they’re criticizing to further the message of the story by providing explicit proof of what they’re trying to say. It’s really, really smart and was also a bit of a gamble. Both for Alex doing something that might alienate his existing audience (for a couple of theories before the story elements were properly introduced), but also gambling that his horror film wouldn’t, for some reason, take off in a crazy way like the Spongebob theories. He clearly has solid understanding of how KZhead’s algorithm works.
They even managed to engineer some virality for the cynical critic by replying to a comment but "forgetting to log into an alt account" and then posting a screenshot of that to reddit. That is totally the behaviour that the muse would encourage.
Ok something I haven’t seen anyone point out is just how the SpongeBob-Theory’s content are reflective of the actual Muse ARG *Spoilers* In the Evolution Theory, Alex comes to the conclusion that Pearl’s mother is the secret ingredient to the Krabby Patty and that parts of her are being sold to customers, just like the ACTUAL Mother at Happy Meat Farms. Past that there’s the obvious Robot and/or jellyfish clones being the parallel for the Muse-Clones and just the theory’s general obsession with Aliens being the answer for everything. What I’m asking is how far does this go? Can we uncover more from looking at the SpongeBob Theories under this light? I mean the Puff Theory ends with the conclusion that there’s this big conspiracy to break Mrs Puff’s spirit specifically.

Something about the Mark situation: during his videos, he was harassed constantly by the account of "Sonc the blue rat", a parody of sonic made to torment him with his mistakes. This could be the "psychological torture methods" happy meat farms enforced on him.

Imma be honest here, I was expecting something to hint that Matpat is also part of this multi-channel ARG, he fits right, its fantastic irony, and he has mentioned interest in making an ARG himself (If there are hints at this that I missed just tell me please) also, just an idea for the future MP!
Also, after he mentions the spongebob theory bit and the bone on the meat to chew things, his eyes arent the same for the rest of the video, could be just another expression I dont see often but it makes me curious.

I just realized, i watched multiple of those spongebob theorys without realizing it, just kinda passively consuming until I realized that like all that dude made were spongebob videos at which point i clicked off. The fact that I’ve stumbled into multiple arms of this ARG without even realizing is both super impressive but also makes me wonder if i would ever realize it if aliens started to take over the world.
