I am a 71 yr old male with dementia and bedridden. Just about all day is watch KZhead. Glad I came across yours. Really enjoy watching it. Thanks
PAINTING THE INSIDE OF FENDERS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN THINKING OVER FOR YEARS. I AM SO GLAD TO FINALLY SEE SOMEBODY DOING IT. BEST RESULT WHEN DONE! WHETHER ITS BLACK OR COLOR - BOTH MAKES A GREAT FINISH!
Dougie must be one of the most kindest, calm and patient person on this earth. Mark can be glad and proud, to have Dougie as reliable and expert partner on his side.
Fantastic episode and that paint job by Will is phenomenal! He is a legend!
The Dodge Charger and Eddie Van Halen, two of my most favorite things ever!
One was a bitchin car the other a bitchin rock guitar player. Eddie Van Halen OWNED the guitar. It WAS his life. The man was the best in his field. At least he was in my book.
My Mopar dreams are over but always wanted a 68' Dodge Charger with a 440 and a six pack! Saw my friend Roddy popping a wheely in a 71 Road Runner with that engine set up!
I’d love to see more on Will!! His painting is absolutely beautiful
One of my favorite cars of all the Musclecar era is the charger, but I think I need to change my favorite car to the Belvedere! wow, great find Marc.
Your favorite car IS the "69 charger" and you know it Chris...like that bad boy is for many of us Mopar nuts(fans). Mopar or no car. Have a good one.
That Panther Pink is the Prettiest thing I've ever seen... Awesome paint...
That copper color looks great. Leave the white vinyl roof off of the car.
Great show everyone.Keep up with the great work 😁 say hi to everyone all the way from Canada Ontario
This show is class, love it!!
LOOKS LIKE ALLYSA NEEDS TO LAY OFF THE BON BONS !.🤣😅😆
Comments like this is why you're haunted by a poltergeist. You deserve it. Her weight or any other persons appearance is none of your damn business.
She is a princess. I call her "Mopar Barbie." She is beautiful...even with a little more meat on her bones.
@@rickbailey189 I see here around Springfield and she's a little skinnier !, you know what they say "Camera adds an extra 10 pounds".😂🤣😅😁
@@Autobodyscotty Allysa is a very pretty young lady. Mark is lucky to have her on his staff. She's also a dancer too. She's talented. Not just a pretty face.
I love that car and I love the Invicta convertible. If there was anyway I could buy one today I would. So much chrome I mean love with it 😍
Absolutely KILLER "surprise" car. NICE SCORE!
This is Really nice the kind of stuff I always wanted to really get into while growing up 🏁
Tools doesn't make better craft, it just makes it easier. Great craftsman can work magic with basic tools too.
The 58 is Amazing !
Love that gold engine paint
Vary awesome indeed. Keep up the great work you guys. Okay.
Some of us are just learning about actually working on cars. So more time wrenching and trouble shooting is helpful. Less video production and back stories please. Love the Mopar Charger/Cuda etc cars for sure.
that copper 440 charger is i think the one i tried buying out of SLC Utah 🇺🇸 pre-2013 ( but by 2012 i got my F8 1969 charger and buying 2 of them was way out of the question for me more so at 30+K usd ) anyways condig it did the body work if im remembering right and it was stored in a 20X25 storage locker for years and i guess it didn't get much attention after 2004-ish so its still in peaces and not finished restoration
Yes we got pounded with snow up here in the Buffalo area.
marc is awesome but will and doug and guys are the best
I dearly love the burnt orange
Wao!. Qué suerte encontrar tantas joyas.
New episode! Mark has not yet run out of new names for old footage. Borders on click bait.... Still, i admire the workmanship. How much money to make actual new episodes??😮
Ice box man is so threatened by Will
The prettiest..muscle car ever made . The American version of the Mach 5...
PINK!!!!
WOULD LOVE TO LEARN, WORK AND LIVE WHERE YOU GUYS ARE. TOO BAD IM STUCK UNEMPLOYED IN SOUTH AFRICA.
I parted 2 green 68s 1 maroon 69 rt for parts with 440 4 speeds for a 69 GTX that i could not keep a motor in and gave up a 68 in 71 when i was in the Army when i got transferred overseas.iI cant believe what people will pay for just a body now.
Was that lag wagon may 17 elevator version
Mark you know your mopars.
original paint, solid Belvedere... "Let's acid bath and strip it !" This would be sacrilege for vanity to my way of thinking & feelings about cars !
Your knowledge of these cars blows my mind my dream car is a 69 charger had one as a kid they have went trough the roof in price so that dream will have to reman a dream love the show
Never should've sold that 69 Charger! You can find a cheap fixer-upper and send it Mark and his boys to restore it.
Leave the max cool rad. Many Chrysler options were not very good. The origional owner must have discovered that! It Kept overheating on hot sumer days and switched it. My chryslers did. I used the dam heater to cool the engine! Keep it it is part of the cars history. It will not change its value!
Dr Anton Phibes did Dougs haircut. 👍🏻
Mark was right. Most folks could tell it was a 58 Belvedere AKA Christine under that tarp just by the shape even with the tarp over it. I haven't gotten to the unveiling yet, but I did cheat and chase the buffer til it showed just to confirm my hypothesis.
It really suck that all auto makers drain the cowl vent into the rockers and rot them out. Mostly from the traffic ahead pulling the rock salt up from the roads. Really no defense from it. So no matter how good paint is all cars will rot from the inside. Blocking off that drain system and redirecting it into the engine bay is the only fix.
I hear Will say he would prefer single stage paint. What advantage is there to shooting single stage paint on a classic?
Man hours and labour
I was waaay done with Sylvester Stalone, at Rocky 3 ...
They built a tribute Christine out of a Fury with the Helephant. Then he sells it without the Helephant. Then he buys the correct Belvedere to build the 100% exact Christine. Curious to know what the Helephant will be going in.
Hello, I found a complete and unfinished project in real nice shape, with actual floor, and trunk, rare in Northeast Pa, with salt used on roads to destroy the underside of your vehicles. I just couldn't pass it up, and rescued it from a dusty life under a lean-to - next to a garage. Since you are the undisputed "guru of data" on these, I just bought a 1972 Charger, but it has a 13 digit VIN, not a 17 digit VIN? WH23G3A190049. I already did the decode, but wondered the reason for the short VIN? Is it just these cars pre-date 17 digit standardization? Some research sites reject this number as "not complete." Same 13 digit number is on cowl tag and door. (possibly for sale?) Thanks for your reply.
Hey Ravenbar I'm pretty sure that Mark pretty much always buys cars that he intended to flip for a profit when it leaves his shop and as I watched the video I don't recall any mention of returning it to the original owner , anyway so I'm not understanding where your comments are coming from or why you made them cause if you ever watched any other " graveyard cars videos you would have heard every major cast member talk about the main business of "grave yard cars " is finding cars that are basically going to be cheap to buy , fix them up ( back to new or better) and "flip " them for as much of a profit as possible , so I'm thinking 💭 that you probably haven't seen any of the "graveyard cars " videos before , and I meant no disrespect with my comments and I hope that you felt no disrespect , and I apologize if you did 😊😅😮😢😂❤😂😊❤😊❤😊
I lost a beautiful 69 belvedere 2 door lemon twist ..Vin showed it would have had a /6 but when I got it it had a 318. and a 4 sp .. a teen late for school didn't stop leaving his apt. Complex ..took out the left front from almost center of grill ripped the frame rail from the front cross member bent the rail almost 45* the bend point was just under the door hinges, the A frame and wheel were bucked under ...needles to say it was a total ....wish I could have had Mark rebuild it instead of it being totaled out
Mark, I want you to Restore a 1963 Chrysler Imperial, For Me Like the one on the TV show, The Beverly Hillbillies,, That Milbern Drysdale Drove around in, Can you do this, Thanks, Cousin Figel
I'm sure he could. You'd have to find a 63 Imperial and come up with 100k plus.
@@stevefirth2013 Sadly, that's why people don't restore those old luxury barges. They cost more to do right than a muscle car, there is no aftermarket for parts, and when you're done you've got a $45,000 car that you just sunk $150,000 into restoring.
Goodness guys I'm going out to buy my Dart Swinger would it Bee an absolute sin to put a Super bee emblem on a Dart lol 😊😂
4:26 Never say never
Well mark, you lost your 1st car, dream was crushed literally. But at least you have a real original christine car now and you seem happy about it good for you.
Yo! Adrienne!!
WOW, these are some funny dudes, not funny haha !!! I like this
From memory prospective mark is a monumental knob/tool
I'd love that Belvedere (Christine, Fury) with that Hellephant Hemi in there. 🤤🤤🤤
GERAT...
I just want a orange 69 440 roadrunner
Did De Soto make their version of the 58 Belvedere?
DeSoto was two steps above Plymouth in size cost and prestige, so, no there wasn't a badge engineered DeSoto version. The closest would have been the Firesweep, which was basically a Dodge with DeSoto grill and tail. In '58 the DeSoto Adventurer would have been the performance version, like the Fury was for Plymouth and was only available as a two door hardtop and convertible. The Firedome would have been the top of the line normal car, like the Belvedere was for Plymouth. Fun fact, you could get electronic fuel injection on the '58 Adventurer. Less fun fact, it didn't work properly and had to be recalled.
@@seed_drill7135 So the De Soto line was to Plymouth like Buick was to Chevrolet. A little more upscale.
@@rickbailey189 Exactly. Plymouth < Dodge < DeSoto < Chrysler < Imperial GM went Chevrolet < Pontiac < Oldsmobile < Buick < Cadillac and Ford was Ford < Edsel < Mercury < Lincoln < Continental (it became a Lincoln model in '59)
@@seed_drill7135 That explains the pentagon star on Mopar keys. 5 branches. 2 bad Chrysler is defunct.
MY FIRST GUESS BEFORE COVER WAS PULLED: 1. 57' Desoto FIREDOME 2. 57' Desoto FIRESWEEP 3. 57; Desoto FIREFLITE 4. 57' Plymouth Fury 5. 57 Dodge Dart WAS WRONG ON ALL COUNTS! But closest on the FURY..lolz
I really think dougie hangs out with royal down the back of the yard, if you know what i mean.
Where is this
Springfield, OR(Oregon) about 100 to 120 Mi. SOUTH of Portland. His shop is about 20 to 30 minutes EAST of Downtown Springfield. 3571 Kathryn Ave. It's a nice big shop he's got next to a large open field.
it looks like a caddy. '59
It’s Christine under there
He paints the inside of the fenders, but not the top of a car that’s going to be covered when his boss tells him to.
Looks like you struck gold.
That's a christine car under the Is cover
What is Alyssa going to do or say ? Pure entertainment
If you would have topped the transmission off before you took off on that trip you would have made it.
❤
I live in Scotland
Well greetings to ya from the land of the Yanks! Hope ya enjoy the show and the beautiful cars.
The build quality of these cars is far superior to the ones that came off of an assembly line.
Nice cars Great job. Hope they last for hundreds of years. Then in a few hundred years they will be putting Electric motors in them. No one would be able to pay thousands of dollars for one gallon of gas. It’s $4.95 a gallon up my way in Syracuse NY. Non-ethanol is $6.26 a gallon . That’s all I put in my Antique motorcycle. Only 3.3 Gallon tank. Thanks for the upload .
burn alcohol with 2% turpentine. works gr8 !
burn alcohol with 2% turpentine. works gr8 !
teach the new painter to see what hes doing painting paint booth walls is unemployment at my shop and paint room better look like an operating room
Job
I do
I dont know why you guys..dont simply make re-creations. Replicas . With a 3 D printer, ANYTHING can be re-made now ! ANYTHING !!
Tell them old men who are washed up living in the 70s still
3d printer is far from original exact shaping kid.
I want to buy a SuperBee or Roadrunner A 12. Sublime with black , like my Challenger
It was probably a Chevy GM engine because Hollywood always puts cheaper engines in their more expensive cars. They are not going to shove out thousands of dollars for a Dodge motor when they can buy a cheap Chevy or GM and put it in
Uk
The longer it stays out in the public,.. the sooner it will get damaged . These cars are just too special to even be drivin in public, if you ask me !
Where's darren
He died and went to hell. At least that's where Mark wishes Darren would end up at when he dies. Mark needed Darren like he needed a blister in his ass. No kidding.
Been gone thank god😊
DONT REPAINT THAT BELVIDERE
sacrilege !
I don't know what anybody else feels about this series, but it sure seems to me to be a spin on "THE OFFICE"! Just watch Mark's snarky remarks and his humor. It seems like he's trying to be Stave Carroll and the other players are just mimicking the office staff. Is it just me or am I right about this? I'm just waiting for Mark to say, "THAT"S WHAT SHE SAID"!
GreatBritain
Think Wills Gay!!! LOVES ?
That's a christine car
Maybe the client can't afford the 1 million dollars to put the car back together. That's why he did it himself.
Pepto pink
Official color "PANTHER PINK." It is in the Chrysler registry JP.
All the girls like pink.
It appears Alyssa needs to back away from the table a bit more. She's getting fluffy!
Wow
Alyssa or allysan
Alyssa.
This guy has an abnormal love of himself. Get it fixed before it hurts someone. Love the white car, do some a-body cars
It is the "King complex."
Send me a Jo application please
Dude I just realized these guys are averaging like 5 plus videos a day 7 days a week for the past 10 months…. Man is there anything y’all don’t video? Lol. That’s like 5 hours a day of videos alone, how long your people working???
God, not another Christine clone. Leave it alone.
Cut and buff is what corrects what the painter didn't do right
Comments like this are made by someone who can neither paint nor cut and buff.😮
If this car is going back to the guy that was building it, any mods should have been preserved or at least discussed with the owner prior to being changed back. It's totally the call of the owner as to how OEM correct it will be built. Imagine a hotrodder couldn't finish their project, so sent it to a shop to get finished, and it gets totally reverted to stock.
If Will could turn them out like this He'd be a rich man.
S13E09
Shame on you Will not even there work on your ethics
Mark has to b related to Doug Funny off that cartoon has to b as funny he is
