  • So.. I guess this is what they do at the secret Beauxbatons training camp. A bunch of lovely women dancing together with their coach before the tri-wizard tournament is freaking cool AF

  • It took me a while to realise that I really love the fact that the female dancers keep theirs faces neutral and let the movements speak for themselves. They are all so strong.

    • Its because the women were representing something abstract. They were al supposed to be one organism wheras the front man is his own entitiy and therefore less neutral in his expressions

  • So beautiful. I'm 42 yrs old and a retired dancer but oh when I see moves like this, contemporary dance has come so far, I wish I could glide across the stage like these stunning dancers. I wasn't expecting contemporary but the flow of the movements told the story perfectly. So well done.

  • maybe i'm seeing to much into this but their motions imitate a river, everything is continuous, synchronized, and basically flowing from the start till the end. there are parts when they do the domino effect sorta thing, but they also have that eye of the storm (circular) thing where the center is calm but surrounded by organized chaos, just like a cyclone. plus, the color of their clothes kind of allude to this idea as well.

    • I admire this piece as the artist combined three different generes, I saw contemporary, one modern style hiphop phrase, and close to the end of the song I saw what looked like a lyrical or liturgical phrase, wow! There sky blue or ocean blue packaging was quite fitting for the theme of the piece ( Cry me a River) love it.

  • First off, I am waaaaayyy older than everyone on here, literally from another generation. The dancing, music, backdrop, colors all melted together into one slowly over time. I can't dance worth shi*t, but can tell getting that many people in one group to move together is a rough project and well done, much better than the usual stuff you see put out. If all of you are speaking to another generation of people, you are battin 100 💪🙌 Keep up the great work and congrats to all of you. XOXO from Chicago🙂

I was mesmerized by the wave-like, ebb and flow sequential group movements. The creative, edgy choreography made way for dynamic emotional piece that I will not soon forget. This is a masterpiece. • "Cry me a River ". The women in blue, embodying the river, represent the tears shed by a heartbroken woman trying to win their love back. Their fluid movements symbolize the ebb and flow of emotions that one experiences in the face of sorrow. Despite being engulfed by this river, the lead dancer portrays the struggle and eventual triumph over these overwhelming feelings. He keeps trying to control this river but ends up being swallowed by it over and over...

Do not know if that was your intent - that was my first impression. I realize this video is old but so relevant today - with all of us crying tears that can fill not just a river but an ocean with our lives been drastically changed by these Covid chaotic times. • I like this. Thanks for giving work to so many dancers. I loved the subtle variation in the costume colors, giving the impression of water. Beautiful!
