Many can't appreciate the finite skills he learnt over the years. He seems like a Craftsman and cares about his work.
He still won't shag ya mate
Done great for my mental heath Charlie watching you lay bricks it's art work
Tip top work Chap! I get alot o' inspiration watching em. Did my 3 year apprenticeship. Now looking to tidy up and pick up the speed.🙂
Excellent work Charlie buddy, something therapeutic watching a great brickie at work like yourself 👍👍
Joy to watch trowel action....top class 👍
Totally enjoy your videos. You make it look so easy & your choice of music is brilliant.
Excellent job again Charlie boy. 🏴
Good one. Pretty high up. Keeping things neat and clean. Good looking work
Top class work. 👍🏼☘️
Loving the videos Charlie mate, been hooked for a little while now, haven’t personally done any site work for the last 3 years. On the way to becoming a physio myself but still got love for seeing the hard work that goes into bricklaying and just general trade works. Really great content and there’s not many people giving a real inside view of site work like yourself so I only hope you find success in KZhead and keep doing what you’re doing fella, there’s loads of people like myself who really enjoy the stuff you’re doing. Take care mate x
Been watching you videos for a while and even tho I’m training to be a plumber find these so interesting and after a good days graft such easy viewing keep up the good work mate
Love it when it gets to the last few course of a top out no better feeling
Es macht Spaß ,euch bei der Arbeit zuzuschauen ! Das ist sehr gute Maurerarbeit .👍👍👍👍👍👍🙋♂️
Best trowel ever made WHS , made me laugh how many brickie supervisors used to think they were hard as nails and never laid a brick , a few hit the scaffold
Your a class act young man.
Nice clean job on the gable.
Great video once again.
Your very smooth on the line none of that woodpecker tapping!, like those line clamps , not seen those before , but ive been retired ten years nice brickwork
There's something very therapeutic about watching you lay a brick Mr Collison. your a gentleman Charlie.
Thank you 😊
Your welcome my guy
I think called Amsr
The headcam is the best. keep up the good work
Lovely mate 😁😁 thank you for The video showing The trowel. Cheers
No worry’s 😊
Made me go and listen to the kooks, what a band, good old days
Naive is my apprenticeship song! Whole album is the days that remind me of these good old days!!!!
Master at work 🙌
Know nothing about bricklaying, but love these videos 👍
Great work Charlie. Greetings from Iserlohn, Germany
just love the content keep it up
I like the bit towards the end when Charles checked the snots and scaffold rash on the lift below, going the extra mile is the difference
Top job Charlie 😃😃😃👍🏼
I think what you have done is great and will look magnificent when finished Have a great day
Props to ya for the consistent banging vids pal! 👌🏻👊🏻🍀
Fantastic.
Mad, I’m in a complete different job sector (content and websites) but I love these videos! So cool! Just getting to terms with the bricklaying terms!😂😂
Great job
This guy does NOT mess about, he gets sh*t done!! 👌
Them spot boards are tougher than they look 💪🏿
Best about anybody serous about bricklaying must have them. Mucking about with wooden boards is madness
Agreed with both comments gator boards all day lighter and don't pull the moisture out the muck like ply boards. some bricks get marine faced ply but are heavier and are £80 a sheet and won't last a full year even with a mustard hoddy that leaves boards spotless at tea time and home time.
Been watching for a while enjoy every video so satisfying, joining college soon doing brickwork 🧱
Good lad 👍🏻
@@CharlieCollison just waiting for college too give me a bell 🤣🙏
It's really fun to watch, keep it up!!
We greet you Carlie! Like us and good luck👍! Best regards, Dmitry and son!😉
Hi to you both!🙏
One of the best feelings, using your level to check your work and not having to do a thing 🤣
Don’t happen often with me 😂
@@CharlieCollison can tell you're works all over the place
@@Tricky181 you mad Charles is one of the cleanest
I can remember buying my left hand WHS trowel years ago.
WHS work hard and starve fucking useless trowels all for daywork plodder's
Isnt it strange how many non brickies watch these videos?! 😂 I’m a carpenter by trade, and now work a projects manager in the office but love watching these videos and have turned my hand to a few little walls projects at my house, only laying about 15 bricks a day so won’t be quitting my day job 😂😂
nice one 👍
kolego dobra robota ,pozdrawiam z Polski
What I wouldn't give to be a 16 year old lad again and you to be my mentor.
Health and safety gone mad but don’t understand the hassle of narrow scaffold, couple boards wider be great 🥵
thanks you
We’ve started to refuse working on table lifts like that! But I suppose as long as you’ve got your hat n gloves on everything’s 👌
Yea I’ve told them I won’t be doing it like that again👍🏻
Nice video, quality work as always. What belt do you use? Thinking about getting one as it saves so much time!
It's a Stanley tool belt I think he uses. Search that on Amazon you will find one that is the exact same as Charlie's
Tidy bit of Brickwork blind man love to see it
That tool bag looks decent Charlie, got a link for it?
An hour long video best get a cuppa made for this one
0:20 Charlie knows how every man wants to be woken up in the morning, with a quick tuggie... 🤣
😂😂
I don't understand how you get the weep vent perps on the lintel course to line up with such tight perps above? The weep vent perps are always big 10mm plus, but your perps today were super tight. At some point they must have gone off centre but obviously not..
You alright charl love your videos mate, you think smaller trowel is better or not? I use a 11inch and my elbows hurt after a while lol
Hope u get a proper hoddy Charlie, Im in stoke otherwise id be there tmoz loaded out ready go mucker, take care mate and good luck
W rose is all we use but block trowel mostly
Just a couple of points. 1. Isn't it strange the way the doctors appointment is always 11 to 12.30 🤔😂 2. Good job all the money is in the top.
Кладка супер раствор классный
Looking to start a apprenticeship soon, charlie vids have been a daily viewing 😂
Charlie boy singing the kooks😮
Still expecting brickies to nose bleed, Health and Safety when it suits
Ok mate i stopped site work and concentrate on private now much better mate ..best way to price small jobs like porchs etc i look at job see how many days to complete and whatever you want per day times it mate ..enjoy your vlogs picked up some good tips 👍👍
wheeyyyyy!! we got little sing song out of ya!! BRAVO!
Haha I thought I’d cut that out 😂
Where'd you get your mortar stands? And can you buy the gatorboards in packs mate?...
Amazon for the stands don’t think they do them any more.... and eBay for the boards
They have sunbelt rentals in England??
Where do you buy those line clamps? What's the brand, company name?
Fitzbrick clamps Google them £50 a pair in 2022
Whats the make of them line clamps/runner?
Fitzbrick clamps
What size of trowel do you use?
He uses a 10inch. That was a 12inch a viewer sent him to try out old whs
Charlie ,a old guy told me they used the big trowels for the footings .Did you see the bricklayer and his labourer who did the meter garden wall on a morning,it looked great but at that price he must be a fucking millionaire. I had one of those big ones for about an hour.
Work Hard and Starve. Love the whs my mentor gave me.
u Used by a cunning and trickie lol
Is there not a isolation switch in side u tun off to save the battery going flat over night normal has a red Handel on
Just watched rest off video see u found it all ways something on site to slow u down
What's the name pieces holder lines where can l buy it
You know you’ve got a grafter when he rocks up in a pair of shorts in January
Huh, I didn’t know you used a W. Rose.
Aha, the new hybrid ' long bed pick and dip technique! Faster to put a bed out and then pick and dip?
Sometimes I use it but my favourite is normal pic and dip 👍🏻
What are the best work boots to wearing on site
Being working on sites for fifty years and my advice is wear sensible but comfortable shoes. I only ever wear Dr Martin Air wear. Steel toe caps are like wearing diving boots. Cumbersome and uncomfortable. I can dance out of the way of a falling brick quicker than with boots on and if anything else is to fall on you the cap would probably do more harm than without. I am all for working safely but, I think it's gone mad.
Amy is my hero.
Mine to 👌🏼
What are those string clamps called? Where can I get it?
Fitzbrick clamps Google them £50 a pair
WHS ! work hard for sod all
In My day WHS was Work Hard and Starve ........LOL
From a scaff's point of view Charlie, a big thank you for leaving the scaffold the way you found it......nice and clean. Just wish the mob I scaffold for did the same....messy basterds.
Leave how you found it! 👍🏻 everyone gets on better that way 😂
💯
How's your wrist after using the bigger trowel? Why are folks asking no pic & dip don't they know you are building ends and then will run in later when you string a line.
Not to bad. But I definitely feel more tired today and didnt get as much done as I usually would.
That helmet cam makes me feel sick 😂
Hiya Charlie where’s the line m8 😉
Hi Charlie Can you show us what is wrong with the bricks you throw out? I have tried stopping the video but its too hard to see.
Chips... there quite hard to spot on with them bricks
what is a hod carrier?
Labourer mate
Labourer specifically for bricklayers
good good he
Spear and Jackson is 10 but what size width
“15 quid for 1 so about 30 quid for 2” Quick maths mate 🤪 Love the content 👍
😂😂😂
Nice work mate🤙 don’t take this as a criticism, that extra movements you take by using the backside of your trowel to swipe the brick after you’ve cut your mud off will cost you at least 100 bricks a day Less movements = more bricks = more money 💰
Can’t help it.. force of habit 🥴 I’m happy with what I earn these days. Trying to make more on KZhead 🤫
Charlie Collison that’s the dream mate I always want more 💰
Half a million subscribers is great going. Make money whilst you sleep.
What time did you get to site today
7👍🏻
What are them line holders called please
Fitzbrick clamps
Mr. Collison you made my shit day today :) I was on my way back home and suddenly i had to stop becouse a big black Van blocked my way :D quickly i realized it was You trying to join the traffick exiting from Your building site ... lol i waved to You as would know each other for years ... silly me :D thx Charlie :D
lol 😂 was that you I pulled out on... thanks for stopping 😂
@@CharlieCollison lol I saw you the other day near Colchester stadium I just went by the mini roundabout near the Ferrari garage
@@CharlieCollison no problem it was my pleasure :)
You listening to the kooks on the way into work Charlie or is someone pumping it on the site but we can’t hear
I had one of my ear phones in 😂
Most be no crick levels in London ?
👍👍👍✌️👊👌😎🤞🤙💪
What about the wall ties that you misted out
Misted?
There a belly 11 mins in 😁
Nappy rash
Did a bomb go off on that scaffold? it’s a right fucking mess 😂😂
