    • My reaction too. Though less like a kid at Christmas and more like a kid at uni on their first week, marvelling at the amount of sex and alcohol seemingly on offer. By that I mean "Gimme more, asap!" with a tongue hanging out in a drunken, dog-like way. Had seen a few vids of Chris recently (probably imprinted via the KZhead suggestion algorithm from watching more and more), and this one finally made me subscribe. Which is quite a feat, considering I only subscribe to 23 channels maximum at a time! (What can I say? The shitty Jim Carrey film stuck with me...)

The price will be the fact those puzzles are made in only very small quantities by craftwork and of some expensive wood (like teak). It is a few years old now but not one of a kind (more like 1 of 1000).

    • He did not make a thousand dollars on this video. I have another channel with a video at over 6.5M views, and I barely made a thousand dollars on that. That's just not how KZhead works, especially not nowadays. The way you make money is by having hundreds, or thousands, of videos that earn you a little bit every day. And brand deals, and sponsorships. Ad revenue is for the most part a joke.

      @Mythricia1988@Mythricia19885 жыл бұрын

    • Ad revenue is heavily dependant on the viewer demographic. A young target audience might generate you up to 30x the revenue per view of the older population.

      @Goomba18@Goomba185 жыл бұрын
    • That's not really very true. The ads served are largely the same. The main demographics for the video I'm referencing is the 13-17 and the 18-24 brackets. Truth is, ad revenue is abysmal, and has been for a while now. Which is why in-video ad spots, sponsored videos, and brand deals are now becoming so common - because it's the only way to stay alive if KZhead is your livelihood. Diversifying your income streams is by far the biggest deal for basically all YT creators now, huge and small alike.

  • This is my favorite video now that you have..!! The creation of this puzzle goes super deep..! Like the playing card in the tree (now you see me) this was created to play on the fact that this would not be the first puzzle that you purchase due to the high price tag.. With that said, the creator knew that the solver would be looking for some elaborate sequence to solve the puzzle.. How long will the solver go on their intuition before realizing that you just need to hammer down to win..! Then I looked at the construction of the box, and it looks to be designed to be hit..! I hate the fact that it's 1000$, but that's an integral part to the puzzle..! LOVE IT..!! Thank You..!

  • This puzzle seems more like a troll because it makes you think it has some complicated way to open it. I could make a wooden box that is hollow and say it is the chopping block puzzle. How do you open it you ask? The hint is in the name. You chop it open because it was completely sealed.

      @caarlisle6301@caarlisle63016 жыл бұрын
    • Socks, lol horseshit. You wouldn't have 300 tied up in that if you smuggled bulloak out of australia. And those are just standard comb joints, covered in polymerized tung oil. That's $100 tops with the most expensive materials.

    • solamisandwich05 Not That I necessarily think $1000 is a fair price, but it’s not just about materials. It’s about the craftsmanship. I would assume that this is handmade, and it’s very well made. That takes skill and time worth paying for.

I realize that you have been on here for a hot minute but I only recently came across your channel (was recommended while I was in a black hole of Derren Brown videos) But, ever since the first one I watched (reacting to cardistry) I've been hooked! I've basically binge watched your videos for the last 3 days. I really like how real you come across. So many youtubers feel like they would be totally different if you met them in real life but with your videos, it seems that it is real life. Sorry if any of that comes off weird but.... You're awesome, good job, and by all means, please, keep on uploading!

      @ham3799@ham37996 жыл бұрын
    • I think part of the puzzle is having the level be so high so that your mind doesn't go directly to "oh I should hit it". Therefore the level makes you think it must be complex and therefore you start thinking too hard about the knobs. At the end of the day, though, that's one expensive puzzle that you smack to death haha

  • It seems that at least a half of the craftmanship, a half of the price, goes not just to look so solid and well build, but to make it fall apart in so sexy and spectacular way. You hit it - and it not just “opens”, its front and dial not just “unlock”, they literally perform like a tiny explosion.
