Ikram kills both Bo and Khamzat. Khamzat and Ikram were both even in wrestling when they first fought. The difference was Khamzat's striking. But Ikram has improved so much in striking and I believe he is better than Khamzat.

I respect bo’s confidence but he has to understand that although there’s ways to successfully use wrestling in mma its still mma not wrestling,we’ve seen guys that are very credentialed in an individual sport lose in their area of expertise to a guy not as credentialed…thats the beauty of the sport imo
I was watching one of his interviews before UFC 300 and I came away from it thinking he was delusional, honestlhy. I don't think he understands what he's gotten into yet. His few fights have been so easy. I think Khamzat batters him and he leaves MMA.

Bo Nickal showed just how green he really is. His wrestling in a sanctioned wrestling match with wrestling rules is top in the nation. However when someone is punching you in the face and doesnt have to follow strict wrestling rules he is in a whole new world. Chimaev has that killer instinct to hurt someone and has been honing that for years under various different disciplines. If they fought right now I would put my house on Chimaev to embarrass Nickal.

Let's be real..... Khamzat ragdolled Usman, and even after tearing his hand apart went on to win the fight..... And Usman was officially only ever taken down once before that. Bo struggled a little with Brundage... that kind of says it all. Bo is good, he's not on Khamzat's level yet. Give him exactly who he asked for.... Fluffy or Kopylov (providing they both win their next fights).

Bo definitely needs alot to learn to be a champion. But with his athleticism he could do it. As far a chimaev goes. I think that's a great match up for Bo. Chimaev has no stand up so there's no advantage there. And bos wrestling is on par to hang with Chimaev .

At this point, while Bo's legions of 4 year old WWE fans think he would rag doll anyone --- like they said Colby would rag doll Leon and any one else he fought, ever fought, despite there's NO evidence to justify it in his entire UFC career: to be fair, Colby is AN ELITE D1 wrestler; MMA, however, is NOT the best venue to show elite D1, because who who resort to D1 TEND TO GET KOED by a kick to the head or a punch to the face or Subbed ---- even Bo himself has come HALFWAY around to realizing you don't just rag doll elite MMA fighters at the UFC, even if they're not as elite as you are in pure Greco Roman/Free Style wrestling. Anyway, on Bo-Khamzat: unless and until Bo's striking and BJJ are on Khamzat's level, Bo will be KO or subbed within 2-3 rounds, at most. And he shouldn't talk about fighting Khamzat until he has had 3 or so more fights. Forget about Khamzt right now. If Bo fights Anthony Hernandez or even Meerschaert (whom Khamzat put down in the first throw he did), right now, he would be crushed on the ground. Meerschaert has 28 wins by subs, so despite his mediocre stand-up, the dude knows his way around in the mat. Bo's clumsy BJJ --- and his elite Greco Roman wrestling --- is a good recipe for him to be subbed by Meerschaert! Anthony Fluffy Hernandez is just going to be way too much for Bo to deal with, right now... both on the feet and on the mat. That's why while Dana allow Khamzat to fight Meerschaert, in Khamzat's 2nd or 3rd UFC fight, he's never going to allow Bo to fight Meerschaert, even in the latter's 4th or 5th. Bo's represent too much investment/potentials, for Dana and the UFC to chance being KOed or subbed by some unranked but very experienced guy like Meerschaert... Zero chance Bo's going to fight Fluffy Hernandez, within this year...

Bo’s ground wrestling is incredible. But, his takedown entries from mma distance are not at Chimaevs level. Chimaev is simply too much athlete for Bo to get to the ground.
if you think chimpeyev is the league of athlete that Bo is, you have no idea what winning NCAA athlete of the year means, as a Swede i would like nothin more than to say who ever tops that bracket is best, the reality is there is the NCAA is a higher level of comp.
@@johanjotun1647 He’s a more technical ground wrestler than Chimaev. His shot entries from distance, mma distance, are not fast as Chimaevs. In fact, they’re not even in the ball park. This can be confirmed with frame by frame video analysis. Chimaevs entries are the best in the sport. Period. He’s faster and stronger than Nickal. Nickal is a better ground wrestler. His depth and breadth of knowledge on the ground is beyond Chimaevs because of the mat time he’s accumulated in the sport and in particular his early youth with his father. But completing takedowns and scrambling in a cage that can be used against the one performing the takedown, is always going to favor the more athletic man. And Chimaev is the better athlete.
Wrestling chimaev would be like putting a cat into a cat carrier that doesn't want to get into the cat carrier. I would love to see Bo put Chimaev in the cat carrier but...

Bo Nickel has been fighting UFC enhancement talent. He's not qivering in self doubt when he fights these people. You put Bo on a big stage with khamzat and he probably has an adrenaline dump and under performs. That's why you don't just instantaneously jump him into that. Bo needs to fight at least one well established name fighter who is not a jobber.

30 seconds into the Brundage fight Cody STUNG Bo with a right hook and he panic shot. Not saying anything bad about him, but if he fights someone like Khamzat and he can’t get him down he’s going to have a problem. Especially with Khamzat’s pace in the first round. Would be a good fight.

Let’s be honest. When they asked khamzat to prove him self he did against burns, then they said do it again and he did against usman. Those two guys are straight killers. When they asked khamzat to pick up the leech and embarrass him and shun him from the republic of china on live tv he did. When they asked Bo nickal to starch a tomato can in 30 seconds to open ufc 300 so he could set the tone and let everyone know that this ppv was worth every cent, he shit a duck on live tv. In MMA, grappling is different. But let's be real, if Khamzat tried to compete vs BO in freestyle or even worse Folkstyle he'd get WORKED. That said, you can't say that will translate to MMA. I have no idea who's BJJ is better, both are similarly green for BJJ in comparison to wrestling. But in wrestling alone, Bo has proven a lot more.

Mr Sonnen, American wrestling advantage to ufc due to collegiate rules is good to speculate. Another perspective is that you let loose Russian wrestling into ufc then there would be no chance as they would dominate. USA just might have had an advantage for what is known in sports as politics which dictates opportunity. Politics in sports drives to push away a lot of talent. Politics sometimes distracts the greatest talent to lose to drab. Bo Nickal has one thing and that is immense time invested in his craft and Chimaev needs to learn from this challenge
Bo might beat Khamzat at wrestling but I don't think it is in any way relevant for a MMA bout between them. Seeing how still welterweight Khamzat wrestled middleweight Jack Hermansson probably just for the heck of it he would probably agree to a wrestling match against Bo (that would have no bearing whatsoever, just like his match against Jack, on their MMA standing) also. If Bo is up for it some organisation could probably make some money off of it.
