A woman wearing a trenchcoat and armed with a long rifle was fatally shot by law enforcement officers after allegedly opening fire at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church Sunday afternoon.
Thank goodness the church had security.

As an adult who was raised by a mentally impaired mother my heart and prayers go out to all involved BUT especially for that small child. That child had no choice but to be led into this situation. I imagine the visual horror of him seeing his Mom shooting at Church people several times, and the deafening sounds that baby had to tolerate- then within minutes he was sharply struck by physical pain as he was shot during the crossfire... 📌The crushing pain and confusion of that small innocent fragile child has my undivided attention and Prayers.🤲🏼 in Jesus's Holy Name. They are also with the FBI at her Conroe home... Perhaps, they'll discover additional information concerning the child there also- from childsize fingerprints to photos and witnesses. Whichever the case, my heart goes out to him.

Her name is Genesee Moreno from. JLR investigates. The woman brought her 5 year old son and it was HER SON that was hit and a 57 year old chrch goers was hit in the leg and he is fine. Prayers for my beautiful city. We are Houston strong and God is with us because None of the members or staff was hurt. Joel cried before this happened.
