Animal megabuild would be super cool! Maybe a greenhouse/terrarium style build? Each "wing" could be separate biome with respective flora/fauna! Would also encourage/showcase biome exploration :D

For the sapling for the red maple tree at 1:27:07. You could just break some of the leaves you have for the tree and get a sapling that way

Honestly I'd love to see you build with some of the purple blocks you found. Wonder how hard it would be to pair it with orange. Maybe an enchanting area if the mod pack allows it. And for at least bedrock beacons work in the Nether as long as only bed rock is above.

Hey skye the best way to get animals are CAGES! Cages are simple to craft, they just need some iron Some animals might be a bit to big to cage The cage can get many animals in just a slot in ur inventory

you should try going into the bumblezone, and get some of the bee/honey themed blocks for the interior of the bee building. There are giant friendly bees and a ton of decoration blocks. You just throw an enderpearl at a beehive to get in, and you can put a waystone in there.
Definitely need episode 3. I need to see how the bee sanctuary turns out!

Would love to see something built with various blues against darker blocks. Trying to get like deepslate to pop against blue (light, dark, all of it!) seems like it would be a challenge for you. Maybe you could even use soul lanterns and torches - which I don't see you usually use in your other builds. Overall - I'd like to see you go a bit darker themed with your builds and contrast dark colours against it trying to make you work. Since you're making an "enclosure" for your villagers, maybe make it a bit more daunting and evil looking? Get back at those pestering villagers from episode one and make them your slaves c:
I really like this modpack. It is quite a lot of fun to watch and explore. Especially now that you're not scared of anything that has the potential to murder you. I think the hardcore videos are okay, but letting yourself have fun and not stress about stuff is when we see joyful Skyes come out and take risks. So I personally enjoy these movies more. Have fun, keep rambling, and maybe a potential color palette for the villager hall could be purple and another color of your choosing. (Maybe white/silver/super light colored since there are so many options and then that could be your unifying theme through your whole world on your builds. Just a thought.) Thank you for such fun videos. I really do look forward to them each week.
I think the reason that you thought that you are not getting your glowstone back after breaking it with a Silk touch axe is that you put a collection enchantment in the axe and after rewinding it back at 2:37:52 you have a 22, 38, and 64 glowstone then at 2:38:25 in your inventory the amount of glowstone that you have changed after breaking all of the glowstorne that you placed, it changes from 22, 38, 64 to 22, 41, 64 glowstone so I think that the silk touch enchantment that you put in your axe is working. When I commented this I didn't see the part where he tried to use the axe.
Some tips for quality of life! (Without spoilers) JEI: If you're not sure what an item can be used for, try clicking U while hovering over it. To see the recipe for something, hit R on it. If you want to bookmark an item for later reference, hit A on it and an icon will appear in the left of the inventory screen (click A on it again to remove). Flick through the pages to get a feel for the modpack in general. Copper golems actually move and function! You need to remove the age on them by right clicking with an axe. There are soooooooo many custom enchants! You absolutely need to get into them! Craft a nature's compass to search for specific boimes. There should be a structure one too! You need to look into different armors and weapons. Plain old diamond and netherite are not the best! To teleport with mobs in your arms, you may be able to try using the minimap teleports. while a little less "fair", it might let you teleport? If not then there are mods that let you pick up mobs like Mob Lassos by Fuzs which is more balanced than others. Backpacks are literally life in this pack. End of story. There is literally so much loot! Get into villagers and try to trade with some of the goblin traders! Lastly, it was a very good call to swap out of hardcore. While not completely necessary to play it, it definitely is more freeing and less stressful. We want you to enjoy yourself too!

Just a little idea: for the bridge going up to the bees, since you're using reds and whites maybe add a little bit of that to the bridge, like some sort of transition of sorts with the leaves or the woods. Just a little idea I had but great work ❤❤❤
I'm down for a Animal Habitat megabuild. A different custom bio-dome for each type of animal would be dope on this world especially with all the biome materials and the seasons mod

Note to be sure your jar of better minecraft was not infected with malware. there was a recent issue of that on varying side from curseforge to others.

I can not express how much I love this series, it's so much fun! I really hope you continue it! I especially love your little house for the ducks and pandas, it would be cool to see you make little biome houses for some of the other animals out there that you might encounter. Maybe a little cave house for bats, a swamp house for frogs and snails, a little lush cave house for axolotls, a beach house for turtles and coconut crabs, maybe a desert or snow one too- I think it would be very cute! Plus I'm pretty sure leads work with waystones? You should be able to take an animals with you as long as it's tethered to you? I also just wanted to mention, your building skills are AMAZING, I'm so jealous lol Everything you make always looks so nice and alive, it looks so pretty
1) mega-build would be nice, especially if its for farming and/or animals 2) the mining outpost idea is cool, would defiantly watch that throughout multiple episodes 3) 1:17:06 yea oak signs or even railings would look good, maybe signs or railing for a different color tree or even metal would be cool too, even trapdoors might be nice 4) as for the villager color combo, blue and orange would be challenging as well as vibrant, some even mentioned orange and purple, blacks, greys and orange for maybe a more spooky, prison vibe works too 5) pretty sure you can use bark as fuel much like bamboo, and tan leather i believe, maybe check in the crafting recipes? 6) omelets looks great, speaking of food, it would be interesting to see you explore the culinary side of this mod pack

I'm so happy to see a second episode of this because i love playing the better minecraft modpack. Watching you venture through it is wonderful and hilarious. Edit: I did want to add that the background music you use is just a touch too loud, for me at least, I love having it there, but at points it competes with your voice which makes it a little hard to hear you sometimes.

Those Orcard trees you looked at are apple trees. When you chop them down they give you TONS of apples. Also, another thing that might work for getting animals to go with you thru the waystones is by using boats. I have seen it work before with those waystones, just not sure on the pack configs etc.
Yes skyes, we want ep 3 (edit) Also it'd most likely be more beneficial for you to make a hand held waypoint so you can teleport back home no matter how far you are. (Another edit lol) You can breed frogs with slimeballs, make sure they are near water tho or the pregnant one will pull a houdini on you.

For the next build, go mumbo jumbo style with deepslate and aged copper, blue and black
For blue and black in this mod pack, I would go with obsidian. The blue obsidian is a good building block and the blue obsidian glass makes good windows. Plus, the building will be boom proof.

The Amaranth Fields is my favorite biome, so damn beautiful and don't even get me started on the purple leaves, OMG I'm in love! Yes, I'd like to see a mega build, either a farm or a mining build. And a build for the bounty boards would be cool as well. What about blue or purple for the next build? The Nether is different but I like it. I really like the polished glowstone with the white leaves! PS: You are not going crazy Skyes.
Honestly, I do see the eggs, but when you zoomed out, all I saw were crying eyes. I really enjoyed the movie and am looking forward to episode 3. I would love to see you make more builds for the animals. I think that that would be fun.
To help save on wood, see if this pack has a wood cutter does the same thing as a stone cutter just for wood aha I'd also look and see if there's a sleeping bag as it lets you sleep without resetting your spawn every time, should be three pieces of wool in a line. As for a new color combo I love purple, so I think you should do something with the jacaranda wood! One more tip, I don't know if it works on this version but you should be able to hover over an item with your mouse and push u to see uses for it I hope it works cause it's so helpful!

Love your movies! Most of the times, JEI is your best friend on how to discover how to get blocks, and I think there is either Chisel or Rechiselled mod in this pack, which is specifically for building.

Here’s some suggestions for u skyes: Use JEI to look at all the different colored blocks, and so u can see all that u can make out of the different blocks. Change out some of the white blocks near the super speedy gel blocks for grass since it’s supposed to be for bees and they need flowers.
i was think you should have put a trap over the ladder to keep the bees from trying go down, and that build came out looking very good also your videos are very relaxing and helps me sleep

I'd really love to see you do a whole series out of this. I very much enjoy watching you play better mc. I think It's my favourite modpack for sure.
1. I counted the glowstone when you said you weren't getting any back. You had 2 stacks not full, one wad 22, the other was 38. After you broke some, you had 41 and 22. The collection just automatically put it in your inventory, so I think the mod that shows you new items, didn't register them as being new items. You were getting the blocks back though. 2. Unless I'm mistaken, fortune works on leaves to get saplings, so you could use your fortune pickaxe on some of the cherry leaves to try and get a sapling for that specific type of log. 3. I reeeeaalllyyyy need an episode 3 of this, I'm addicted to the series. 4. Removing the pressure plates at your front door would make it easier to not lose the bees. 5. I feel like a light blue to dark blue/purple would be a nice color pallet, and there's tons of modded blocks with those colors as well. And JEI helps a ton with finding what blocks are used for or how you get them, which you can use by searching for it, or pressing R or U. R for how you get it, U for what you can use it to make.
Loving the video as always! Though it would be nice to see you use some of the craftable modded blocks, like the furniture! It would also be lovely to see you step out of your building comfort zone and make a gothic/Victorian build... maybe using some of these purple trees (Wysteria? I forget the name.) and those black brick/cobble from the nether. Also a bakery... but that's a lot, haha. Love you Skyes, can't wait to see the next video! (Definitely prefer the modded over the Vanilla, it's awesome to see you come up with new ideas for the blocks)
Put a campfire below your beehive, then shear it and your bees won’t get mad!
I think the funniest parts was where the extra little edits for the bee escaping. Those made it really funny to watch

When I played this mod pack about a year ago, it had a glowstone biome. Sand, mobs, plants, glowstone everything. I don't know if it's still in the mod pack, but if it is, keep an eye peeled. Then again, I did use an elytra, I didn't have a time limit, and I had a lot of free time so don't get your hopes up.
Dear Skyes, I know and understand you are a KZheadr so views and likes do their part but you enjoying and having fun while playing especially in this modpack is just superb, that being said would you be willing to do this into a long series just because? Think about it and thank you for all the content you create!

for the villager color combo, you should definitely try green and yellow! you can use those green logs you found!
I really think you should do a build that is specifically greens and green blues because with all of the warped stuff it would be really cool to see a structure or building with the warped stuff and you can add the rods you got. 2:45:27 And with the purple obsidian glass maybe you could create a nether portal area made out of the purple obsidian glass, mixed with purple glass and magenta glass. You could even add some of those mystical trees, along with purple and magenta sand. 2:47:23 But I am really looking forward to what you create!

hey skyes, if you get another one of those goblin traders like the one at 2:20:00 then you can stand in a nether portal so you cant go in his trade menu then pick him up, also yes, mega base would be cool, that silk touch pick did work, you had 38 before mining (saw in crafting table when making the axe) and 41 after mining (saw before you made the dust into the glowstone) [I TOLD YOU DONT BLAME ME], also yes we all want another episode lol

dude a dome would have been awesome for the bees, like a giant dome covering a house that is full of foulage.
Tree Bark Can be used as fuel for 200 ticks (one item) Can be crafted into sticks (2 bark for 4 sticks) Can be smelted into charred bark. Are used to craft the vanilla Campfire (the vanilla recipe is replaced) - what i got off google.
For mushrooms you have to place them around trees before bonemeal them to grow. Just foe future if you wanna use mushrooms to build.
Zooms in to like 4 pixels, "as you can clear see that's yellow" 😂😂

An idea for a build is a Gothic enchanting tower. Then you could use that black and red transition block and the green crystal things as fancy stained glass or something

Also if you put a mob in a boat and use a waystone, it'll transport you, the boat, and the preferred mob. I seen Suev do that same thing

A third episode would be sick, it took me a little while to set aside the time to be able to watch this entire video, but it was enjoyable. The omelette’s nice, especially with the shroomlights in the center for that extra glowing part. I’d love to see designs in the future that have more blues and purples like the blocks you found in the nether. A cool mod that I think you might really benefit from would be Storage Drawers. I know there’s ways of automatically sorting items into their assigned locked drawers, but I’m not entirely sure of the specifics of it, could be cool though.
