Sloth Bear Habitat With A Neon Lit Diner In Planet Zoo | Elderwood Zoo
ABOUT PLANET ZOO
Build a world for wildlife in Planet Zoo. From the creators of Planet Coaster and Zoo Tycoon comes the ultimate zoo sim. Construct detailed habitats, manage your zoo, and meet authentic living animals who think, feel and explore the world you create around them.
Planet Zoo is nearly a Zoo Tycoon sequel, a Zoo Tycoon 2019 game. A wildlife game, zoo game and animal game and soon we'll be adding Planet Zoo gameplay.
For Adventure!
Frontier: here, now you can build a Zoo. BIS: I’m gonna build a city with a monster.
Oh my gosh, an extra long episode of Elderwood Zoo? Yes please!!! I'm going to make a cup of tea, grab a snack, and then I know exactly how I'm going to be spending the next hour and a half.
I’m actually so happy he is returning /doing more content with planet zoo
oh I REALLY love the diner!! I wonder if anyone has made a jukebox decoration of some sort (or if someone could make one) because that'd look lovely inside the diner as just a small eye-catching set piece inside the building.
I love how you keep posting Planet Zoo even though it doesn't get as much attention as I think it should. My mind cannot comprehend how far you've come since the Bura Vichaar - I vividly remember how I was desperately looking for someone to play Planet Zoo in an interesting and inspiring way and I'm so glad I've found you. Your Planet Zoo videos helped me in deepening my knowledge of English (thanks to you I know cheeky little blighter and I cannot be happier UwU) and focusing on storytelling rather than focusing on unimportant details. I love you so so much and thank you
Thanks for posting another Planet Zoo episode so soon! I'm so excited for the barnyard pack, and I agree with one of the other commenters who said a pig farm owned by serial killers would be a great way to add horror back into things!
I love Elderwood. It’s become a staple of this side of KZhead.
this is incredible!! it really fits into the aesthetic of the town even though its neon, i feel like it still has the "dated" feel of the rest of the town. and the interior is definitely the best youve ever done!! i really enjoy the center curved bar area
the diner has no doors at the entrance could look good having some open glass doors or something like that so good tho its really coming together!
Extra long episode! I love this so much~ And the dinner turned out really nice! There's the usual struggles, curse you sometimes, game, but I wouldn't have the will power to fight through them, so, go, BIS!
The square “pattern” on the ceiling is most likely “drop out ceilings” lots of cheaply made buildings have them
My wood is so elder right now
Ayyyyyyyyyy🤨🤨
I was your commenter on Twitter! I'm glad the billboards are working for you now. Massive fan of your work, as always, that neon sign on the front of the building is amazing. The whole build is so creative and I'm excited to see what you do with the Barnyard DLC!
A sacrificial lamb theme for the sheep (or sacrificial goat) would be cool in elderwood.. either way goats work for a cult-y vibe
18:23 I agree, I'm excited for the Barnyard Pack, I think it's a great addition to the game -- along with the new interaction mechanics being added in the update. It's something people have wanted for a long, long time because so many zoos have barnyard areas and petting zoos. But also, it doesn't feel right for Planet Zoo's big finale. Yes, it's a great pack, I think it's something a lot of people will be really excited for. But if it were the very last PZ DLC ever, I definitely would've been disappointed that a Barnyard Pack was the thing they ended with. 52:09 Wow, I don't know if I would have the patience to work on a single building for so long... I normally start a building, get bored, go and build something else, forget what I'd been doing, go back to the first building, realize I don't like it, start over......... But man, you can tell you put a lot of time into it, it's looking so good! 1:09:00 Another thing you could do to clutter up the diner is to use some of the new (or not-so-new at this point) gift shop shelving units: you can set up shelves full of mugs, or t-shirts (pretend the diner has its own little merchandise section), things like that. Just to populate the space a bit more And the A-frame sandwich-board chalkboard thing could be fun, too, showing the specials or something. I don't know. Clutter is the main reason interiors are so incredibly difficult, though the items we got with the gift-shop update really help in that regard. (The little shop counters around that central bar area make a big difference, though!) 1:12:39 Seriously though, the diner turned out so incredibly well. Things like this are not easy to build in PZ (maybe because it's a zoo-building game, hm...) especially making everything on a custom scale, and not being able to resize pieces... but all the details and textures come together to really make such a nice atmosphere! It's a proper diner! 1:14:30 I have absolutely no idea why the bear isn't moving. That's so odd... I don't have a clue. 1:16:55 The neon does look so good. And this really was the perfect excuse to use a ton of it. 1:24:24 Another option for a barnyard animal around the town could be goats, since goats are often brought in to help clear overgrown areas. So it could be a really overgrown park, or a cemetery behind the church that's gotten all tangled up with vines and shrubs and stuff, and someone has brought goats in to get rid of all the plant life that's taken over. (Also: you have another excellent option for a terrifying animal that could be added in pretty easily: SWANS. Everyone's scared of swans, right?)
And I don't think I emphasized it enough: the diner looks SO GOOD, I absolutely love it, and the exterior especially looks fantastic at night
Always love an elderwood episode. This build is amazing, I love it, especially all the neon lights
Omg yay! So great to be blessed with another ep so quickly! Youre amazing!!!
The town is coming together quite nicely. I can't wait for the full tour of this park. Speaking of Elderwood, I remember you were gonna make a memorial in the reptile house where you were gonna put the names of people who commented on the videos. Is that still gonna happen?
I would love to see another franchise zoo series! Love your videos!
Elderwood is looking great. Love how much it is growing not only in size but in lore too. I would like to make a suggestion for earlier on in the park where it is more wooded back where the horses etc are. How about making an old sawmill or sustainable forestry site? Thinking maybe about the history of the area vs the conservation development. Whether still in use or abandoned is obviously up to you - more jobs for Elderwood residents? Maybe using one of the canine species or forest ungulates as the habitat animal.
Man I know you kept saying you didn't feel confident with your buildings but you killed it with that diner, dude
Amazing build, probably one of your best yet! Have you considered adding one of the functional kitchen facilities to the diner? If it fits, it would really add to the realism of the build. Also, as others have said, some front doors!
Okay I'm only at the start of the video, but I wanted to say that a big ol' farm/ranch would be cool to see with the barnyard animals. It kinda fits the American vibe and hey, there was a section like that in Alan Wake so it would fit
Great video! I love the setting you’ve built up so far
Always glad to see your unconventional builds. The diner came out fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
Your builds are always amazing!!!❤
If you did want to do a barnyard park, I think it would be hilarious if you have chickens overtaking a KFC 😂. The fact that some of elderwood has some quirk i feel that would fit in tbh. Also, i think having a pig farm with a family of serial killers would be AMAZING.
I think there’s an issue with the habitat itself, which is possibly why the bear isn’t moving. When you were moving the bear it said something weird about the destination. Maybe also why the staff are stuck in their loop? Maybe try deleting the habitat gate and putting it back in?? Also, if you have escaping turned on the null barriers won’t keep the animals in their habitat.
Incredible. Nothing more to say
Love these videos dude, you're so creative
You must resist edging
