Ratchet & Clank 2002 is a third-person shooter platform video game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2 in 2002. The game follows character Ratchet meeting the robot Clank on his home planet, Veldin. Clank discovers that the villainous Chairman Drek of the Blarg race plans to create a new planet for his species. Clank convinces Ratchet to help him in his mission to secure the assistance of the famous hero Captain Qwark. The game offers a wide range of weapons and gadgets that the player must use to defeat numerous enemies and solve puzzles on a variety of different planets in the fictional Solana galaxy. The game includes several mini-games, such as racing which the player must complete to proceed.

  • Fam, this was the VERY FIRST game I ever played. My father introduced my older brother and I when I was only three years old, and by the time I was four, I knew how to play. To this day, this game, this entire series, has been among the greatest parts of my gaming life. As soon as the beat drops at 2:13, WHOOOOO-WEEEE, my smile is wider than Quark’s shoulders.

  • Better days, better games. The last one was a disney like slob, and the remake was bad. OG trilogy was more like old school cartoons like Johnny Bravo. They had adult jokes and some edge to them, nowadays everything is so dull, lame and filled with leftist propagandas it makes me sick. Shame.

  • This was the first game I played. And it got me introduced to the ratchet and clank franchise and the community. It was one of the hardest but also the edgy games of my childhood. Absolutely love it. Really hope insomniac games can make a new ratchet and clank game after the spider man franchise. Rift apart is also one of my favorite games of the insomniac games library. 🥹🥹😄😄😃😃🥺🥺
