just a suggestion, what if we are able to have at least the engine suppliers emblem on the cars and suits making it just a bit more realistic

would love to see an optional pre-season testing where maybe you can gain some extra resource points and get a feel for the car and improve before the first race of the season

Considering the WRC title from Codies is looking 10x cleaner and more polished in early access than F1 has looked at any point in the last 3 releases, lets hope F1 gets the same treatment

Ability to randomise calendar, my team menu new look, actual race trophies, teammate orders, new sprint format is just some of f24 musts
Most of these fan-requests are not about the gameplay, while those would be the most game-changing ones. I am talking WAY Amore talkative engineer, pit start, safety car through lane, orders to teammate, crashed cars staying on track and being towed away afterwards, more controls in pit lane, cooldown lap etc
I have quite a lot I would love to see in F1 24. List of things I would love to see: Laser-scanned tracks Chassis builder More tracks (Hockenheim, Sepang, India, etc.) Pits changing how constructors end the season Classic cars Calendar editor (order of tracks in the season) Livery editor Complete control in the pits I could go on, but these would be sick to have.
Honestly, everything (except classic cars) you mentioned is genuenly at the top of my wishlist for F1 Games
@@some205guy Yeah I understand, I would probably not even use classic cars a lot myself, but the other things should be in the game already. As of more tracks, I think its gonna be hard with contracts. Other than that, everything else should be possible.
Something I don't see people mentioning that I've thought about for the last 2 games is being able to choose which tracks to have sprint races at. We should be able to have sprints at any track, not just the 6 on the 2023 calendar.
A polished game on release would be nice.
For the custom liveries i think being able to change the Number colour and font would be cool

I would ABSOLUTELY love visor tint for VR users. Like for night races no tint but for spa you have tint. I recon that would be AMAZJNG
What VR goggles do you have? I am running on a quest 2 with a gtx 3070TI and VR looks very unsharp and I can't play it for long without having a headache (unlike Iracing). Just wondering what you are using to suggest VR features. Because you are obviously using VR a lot based on your comment.
I would love to see the formula 3 teams added to F1 and the customizable calendar like the potential of swapping out tracks and doing what the German GP was doing by swapping hockenheim and Nurburgring
A more realistic process of the track drying up after a rain period like in gran turismo 7. In gt7 the track drys up more on the racing line and stays wet in the outside of the track and in the run-off areas.
On the order of the teams in the pit lane, some tracks, like Silverstone specifically, to my knowledge doesn't really follow the previous year's constructors championship ordering, they have a bit of a different ordering. And some tracks have at least in the past had the pit ordering the other way round I've noticed, like the 10th team first, then the 1st team at the end

I've seen a few videos about the new WRC game from Codemasters over the last couple of days. There were a couple of good ideas in there that the F1 game could also benefit from.
Is it just me who thinks multiplayer myteam would be really cool. The concept of making your own team, and racing with your friend, or even agains they own team sounds really cool. Btw really good video.

Yes, I think F3 is quite underrated. I watched it since 2021. It was (as aarava would say) BIBICLIAL!!!

More on the tracks/calendar/what a season can entail. If it's possible because I know some tracks can't be changed or shortened or lengthened but having alternative layouts and maybe use say like the Short tracks for Sprints and also on the sprints, being able to change locations for the Sprint races and then if you choose a track that has a shorter version, you can do that for Sprints obviously again after season 1.
I don't want the boxes to move, I think it's an advantage having your box at the end

Having the pit crew reflect the RL pit crew from the sport, like F1Mec at Red Bull
A racing line assist that you can edit. Either by removing from certain corners or being able to change the opacity of the line so that you can scale the racing line down to the point where you can turn it off completely.
The new WRC game has the option to build your own rally car so if F1 doesn't have anything remotely similar there's gonna be riots
I'm fairly sure that EA is capable of doing more, they bought Codes and Codes were doing fine on their own, so just let the Codemasters devs do their thing. Also F1 Life and F1 World were to much work for nothing...
F1 2020 was my favorite F1 game, and this was all Codemasters doing. ❤
I also think upgrading your car should be more individual. Like in F1 Manager you should be able to say what effect the new Upgrades have on your car. Like let’s say you want to bring a new front wing to your car and feel like it should be constructed to generate more downforce in low speed corners because you feel that the car‘s struggling in those type of corners.
F1 manager style, in the way that you have the cost cap and everything akin to the F1 Manager 2023 2, but you drive the car yourself :P Not fully manager game, but there is a lot of things that could be brought over and used!

Some stage between racing line being on corners only and off, e.g. a line across the track for advised braking marker would be very useful for new players trying to get assists off. For the same reasons, perhaps no traction control, no abs etc. optional mini games to develop these skills in new players
Unreal Engine, with that just like the new WRC game more content, physics, game modes like championship or custom championship, classic cars and F3.

I'd love to have a livery editor of other teams whether it's just small cour changes or a massive rebrand
It would be cool if when you bring an upgrade to the car, on paper it should make your car quicker, but when you drive it is worse. For example a front wing upgrade could make your car extremely oversteery and it can't properly be corrected through the setup.
I've heard that F1 24 reportedly will not be using the ego engine anymore. So we might get a whole new game, who knows. But I won't get too ahead of myself. Knowing how EA and Codemasters are.
The current engine is complete garbage
The new WRC game uses Unreal Engine instead of Ego so I would say it is likely F1 24 will use unreal as well
I Heard Codemasters Will Use Dice's Frostbite Engine in F1 24.
Recently seen early plays of the new WRC rally game from EA and codemasters and it looks really impressive. Maybe hope for the F1 series yet.
I absolutely love every idea in this video. I think I turn towards having some sort of a livery editor and a chassis builder the most, and that’s because I love being able to customize things in the games I play. I really hope EA and Codemasters see this video and try and implement some of these into the next game.
I think that if you would have team orders would be nice and if you didn't want them you could turn them off

Helmet designs, I want to put sponsers in the helmet The brands that they have in f1 world (beats, puma, etc) could be the sponsers in the my team car, they are already in the game!!!!!
Changing tyre supplier to spice up how the tyre wear is and how many pitstops you've to make.
Also giving team principles and staff members the ability to transfer teams or even retire and the make a new menu screen where it keeps us up on what’s going on and who’s moving or retiring.
It would probably never happen. But I would love to be able to build my own track too!
Small little thing such as having an ability to change the colour of your number like russel and hamilton and having your name and number printed on your suit and helmet, definetely doesn't seem too difficult to do and will be a nice little detail
I really want different parts for the my team car like front wing rear wings steering wheels and more and also f3 and also more dlc tracks
With regards to livery’s may b unlock more sponsor slots in the podium pass or more customisable livery options that way people have the option and the company keeps podium pass
they can just take all 10 base liveries from the F1 teams, put them into the podium pass and make the colors customizable and i'd be happy.
honestly the best feature to have is a game that works through out the year
I Hope they will make a track design, that you can design your own track and race at them
My advice for liveries is to have a custom Livery setting that just let's you draw your own livery just like Paint
to build our own engine you have it as a mod now on your my team save
I want to start an F1 weekend by dressing up like Hamilton and doing a walk in F1 Life clothes. I would always select clothes that are worth 50.000 pitcoin. I don't want furniture. I want to dress like a lamp, an umbrella, I can maybe even dress like a couch. Instead of sponsor logos, I want to place tattoos and piercings on my avatar and I want to hear jewlery ring like a bell when driving over the bumps of Monaco.
Feel like for console they could have a system where you can upload pictures onto your game to use for sponsors or where you can fully create a logo like emblems on COD
it would be nice if you could actually talk to the race enginieer with voice activates actions, like you can tell him to pit this lap and you will. it would be nice aswell if you could turn in and brake by yourself in the pits!
I think a bit more (skipable) Cutscenes wouldn't hurt

Laser scanned tracks and visible changes on the car with upgrades and with setup changes, i feel thees would make a great change.
Choosing your steering wheel. whilst your customising your car, a new option should pop up with the icon of a steering wheel. Where you can choose your favourite wheel that suits your team.
what about they can make a gt style helmet and livery edither and use the podiumpass for car shapes

Need to be able to hire a designer and engineers with it having an effect on car performance. Building your own engine should be in it in case I would want to play as BMW, Audi, Toyota, etc.

i think that if you can race with supercars more people would play whit them because now the only thing you can do whit them is some challenges and time trail
Classic tracks would be good. Could have donnington park, mugello, adelaide, brands hatch, nurbergring, hockenheim and loads more. Could even have different variations such as old imola layout or late 90s silverstone layout or something. Helps stop game being repetitive
the wrc game kind of makes me exited and scared for the f1game

Ability to play as a active pro or team instead of being forced to make your own. Ability to edit players, ability to force players not retire. 15 seasons instead of 10

It would be nice to make your team, do a few seasons then swap out and build another team or edit an existing team, all the while getting to see your previous teams progress.

I have to say I've barely touched F1 23, all the EAmpire have done is take F1 22 my team, rename it F1 23 my team and sell it. It will probably be the last F1 game I buy for a while, they come out on the gamepass later on anyway
