A bit of a rant: Was so excited to see this video and my mouth went to a frown when you said "we will be doing this in Windows." Major operating systems send your telemetry data to the OS vendor(s), but Ubuntu does not. We are mining a privacy centric coin, embrace privacy.
For my personal use computer I'm not installing Linux, just doesn't support all the gaming and music programing. For the mining rig, I can agree with this 100%

Hello, thanks for the video. I followed all the steps but it didn't open. You can see a flash of it opening, but it disappears just as quick. So fast you can't even see anything, just an outline of a box. Not sure why that is. I also looked in my task manager and didn't see it running. Any thoughts? Thank you.

very useful video I used the info to mine with two of my old laptops,but a third one I was unable to it's dell inspiron 11 3000 hybrid running on Windows 10.If you have any suggestions to help me get it working would love to hear thank you in advance?

@@Rsss7434 It wasn't great but I got it to at least 1 mh with 2 laptop I know most phones can do better but it was cool that I can do that.
Ive noticed in the comments some computer aren't working. I think this program may require a 4 core processor or better. That would be an i5 gen4 or better CPU.
great video. question im still a learning, but for every phone you buy to mine. do you have to buy a token before you can mine verus? so if i have 40 phones ill have to buy 1 or do i have to buy 40 tokens before i can mine?

That is because your virus protection is deleting the srbminer-multi.exe follow the video where I turn off virus protection while I download and extract it then add it to exclusions then turn virus protection back on
@@KrebseyCrypto Thanks I was able to get past it, and modified the file with # of threads, the pool and address info. When I start veruscoin file I get "reconnecting to verus.io.9999 in 3 seconds. And once in a while in red will get msg "A0 not connected to a pool". DO I just need to try a different pool or specify more threads (set to 1)?

Sir followed the steps you taught sir, but it couldn't connect to a pool having done all that you instructed on your video tutorial, so what could have been the reason for such outcome.
It seems from the email you sent me, you don’t have correct algorithm set. You need Verushash
