RGB strikes again and this time on the G560 computer speakers from Logitech. This DEFINITELY wasn't what we were expecting from a brand that's been known for subtle lighting on their peripherals. but does the light show cover up for flaws in the sound quality and overall performance? Let's find out.

    • Ikr? Between this and the Razer products it's all a fucking joke. You want a cheap "gaming" speaker that will probably blow anything from Razer or Logitech out of the water? Get a Klipsch Pro Media 2.1. Want something that will last you for at least a decade and can be used for everything (movies, music, gaming, production, whatever)? Get yourself a pair of JBL LSR305's. Everything else is a fucking joke.

I only use the front 3 speakers and the sub with my X530's and am thinking of replacing them wth the Razer Nommo personally don't really reuire the sub as for music I have a set of ATH-m50x's paired with a FiiO E18.

But I'm still frustrated that Logitech couldn't add the option to swap between the plugged in headphones and the speakers via G button toggle? There's gotta be a way(instead of the obvious - reaching to the back of the speaker every single time to plug/unplug the headphones).

    • Yes! You can use the LGS reactive lighting and have another sound device working. For example, I use Corsair Void Pro gaming headset over wireless USB and the lighting still works on the G560, as long as it is connected via USB. The G560 doesn't have to be the default audio device on your PC for the lighting to work. In fact, you can even use modes like Audio Reactive with a headset set to default, so the audio plays via headset, but the G560 does reactive lighting. Also, these are Bluetooth compatible and have a 3.5MM audio jack, so they will work with consoles, you just need a PC to control lighting and other LGS functions.

With driver conflicts causing havoc on my new system(Ryzen 3800x, TuF Gaming 570x and RTX 2070 super), intermittent loss of sound, distracting lights, being told I need different apps to make this system work I finally returned them and got the Pro media 2.1's from Klipsch. The Pro media's maybe old but damn those clear high's, crisp mid's and punchy bass are phenomenal. I plugged them in and not a problem since.

I saw this today, and was like "Oh shit, did i miss out." Thanks for comparing the two of of em. I'm glad i got the katana because of my setup doesnt face the wall. That and I dont need the RGBS (yest i turned the katana's off) lol. Though i will have to recommend this to my roommate. Keep up the good work and thanks for all that you do. Cheers!

In the morning when I first wake up I don't want to deal with my laptop so I just play from my phone, and then once I start working I can switch to my laptop with no hazzle or delay; this feature is golden.

    • You can play Bluetooth audio through them, from a phone, etc. Not sure if they'd work with a Bluetooth headset since the Bluetooth feature is more for input. You can't pair them with a Bluetooth speaker and have that play the PC audio, for example. I am sorry, I don't think I am answering your question, properly.

I currently only use the frot 3 speakers and the sub for mysetup so going down to 2 isn't a problem and I have NEVER been a bass head either so thats not a problem for me. I do have a Vizio 5.1 soundbar for movies/shows/consoles on my bedroom tv and I can run the pc through that if I need surroundsound. For music I have a pair of Audio Technica ATH-m50x paired with a FiiO E18 so I am set there as well. So yeah minimilst setup with the razer is what I am looking at.

  • Hello I would like to ask if the LEDs on the Logitech lightsync G560 still work when I listen to music from my phone via bluetooth? If I connect the TV to Bluetooth and watch a movie, do the LEDs work the same as if I was playing a game?

    @arnolddj1040@arnolddj1040 Жыл бұрын
  • So I just ordered a razer chroma. And I would say in recent memory this is the most practical purchase. I saw a different video comparing the g560 and chroma. It wasn't until this video that I realized the practicality of my purchase. I live in mobile home so, a subwoofer would have been house shaking. I don't even use the woofer on my current dell basic pc speakers. Second, my walls are painted dark green. I feel like the g560 would need a white background to be stunning as it is in the video. On top of that I have a tapestry of the Los Angeles skyline. Third my setup is cramped as it is, fitting the nommos will be a challenge, but as this review states you need enough distance to take advantage of the g560s. Overall the nommos just ticked various boxes for the practicality of my setup and environment. If I had a different house/room I am sure I would have went with the g560s.

  • It's a shame, I use the GSX headphone amp, and the feature that is best about it is the ability to seamlessly switch audio outputs from headphones to desktop speakers, which is frequently missed from gaming speaker reviews. I am yet to see another desktop audio solution with this in, let alone one which has binaural surround virtualisation. The problem is more and more cleaver or exciting speaker set ups require USB ports for better audio, so mixing them with a amp unit like the GSX 1000 isn't practical as outputs would need adjusting in the audio settings on the PC.

    @Ekksanpher@Ekksanpher6 жыл бұрын
  • Can you use the LightSync feature while listening to the 3.5mm input? I use a mixer to combine the audio from my Amazon Dot and my Sennheiser GSX 1000 into my speakers so I can hear both at the same time. It would be great if I could also use LightSync with that setup.
