Even in his own sport, I can think of two in the last decade - Romano Fenati* (dangerously unhinged) and Andrea Iannone, who seems to have grown up. Road racers are often erroneously called "crazy", by people who don't understand the sport - they're anything but - brave, skilled, dedicated, focused - many things, but not crazy. I can't speak with much authority on most other motorcycle sports, so there may be riders I don't know about. Stepping away from motorsports, and into everyday life, there are millions of "crazier " riders on the public roads - no protective gear, riding poorly maintained bikes, trying to ride far in excess of their skill sets, risky & dangerous maneuvers while riding amongst other people - need I go on? To the uninitiated, (and I'm not suggesting that you are - I'm guessing that it was a bit of hyperbole on your part) Marquez looks crazy, but you don't get to the top and stay there for years if you're crazy.

Changing F1 tyres (like any car) is way easier than on a motorcycle. No through axle, brake disk and caliper, chain, fender to worry about

What most ppl dont understand is they get off the bike after long period of gear switching and riding bike. Bike vibrates like crazy and can numb down sensation so getting off a bike that fast after long period of high speed ride its amazing
