Skywirefan well first of all the style itself is one of my faves, the creativity of the way they blend the scenes together smoothly is fantastic. I love the bubble idea, showing the backstory was pretty cool. And I love the thing where murdoc bangs his bass and they sync that w the bang sound in the song. Plus I love the outfits and color and yeah. And the animatic is neat which makes it even better :)

Theres 2 scenes, the bubbles is one idea (a good idea but still just only one idea), it seems neat (in terms of cleanliness) because theres less detail, and the art style is not fitting with the gorillaz style if the artist was purposely trying to go 100% gorillaz (hands are off, 2D's body proportions are off, noodle doesn't have puffy lips, the noses are slightly off, but this part is just slightly too critical so ignore if you want). In the beginning, it starts a setting and an but goes nowhere with it. Which eventually cuts to a generic "standing on a stage playing." What upsets me is how it looks like not much time was put into it (im not questioning skill, just time invested) and half way in is a paid add for an app, it just seems like a bait and switch :/ Edit: I'm asking people this in comments because it just seems way too overrated and sorry to say... lazily made.

Pardon my french, but holy hell this amazing!!! Seriously this looks so professional, I can definitely see this as official music video!!! The reason is simple, for starters this is so well done!!! Look, the fact that you implemented the backstory and what happened in the past phases with the bubbles, show that you know and care about the Gorillaz!!! Also the way that you did bubbles and how they showed the past, was really interesting because I never saw that happened before and I applaud you for your creativity!!! The way that you were able to show how the characters are, just by the way they were position in the intro, really gives the viewer a clear image of who these people are for the newcomers of Gorillaz!!! That's also not a lot of people can do, so it's was very wonderful to see that!!! I love how you gave each of the characters unique clothing I can tell you have a sense of style and I love it!!! This is also very professional since in the Gorillaz music video the characters have a very distinct wardrobe!!! Also the way you used camera angles has it recedess or closes up closes up on a character, and how you make those camera angles relate to the characters mood but also the song was one the thing I loved to seeing in the video!!! Not only that but you made the video flow with the music and whatever happened in the video, correlated with the mood of the song, which really made you feel what was happening and made you connect to the song More!!! Something I have to say about the intro, it may have been not intentional but the way the characters were position and the way you were showing the themes, past memories and memories now. This made me related the characters to this theme. 2D was look outside because he was worried about the future, looking at the past mistakes and problems. Noodle was looking at her guitar because she only saw the future with music the thing that she loved but not looking at the other problems. Shown that she strums her guitar but falls to realize 2D’s worry. Russel is fixing a heart beacuse he is worried on what is happening to the band and if the memories are ruining them. That's why he is tampering with the heart because he wants to fix the problem. Murdoc is looking away as he only see things as it is, the memories are just memories that's why he looks forward. Murdoc sees what Memories can do as he looks back but he doesn't realize consequence as he continues to look forward. I know that was random but it was just my thoughts on that first seen. Anyway I just want to say that I really do love this animatic and I would love to see you finish it one day but you don't have to just do what makes you happy because that's what matters!!! Connex You're so right I loved everything about it! 2-D's expression was perfect for the music, Russel who symbolicly did that thing with the heart with "take it in your heart now lover", the flashback bubbles were fantastic and I recognized all of them and the moment Murdoc struck his guitar... Bruh my god, this is so sick, I love the way you did this beast of a music video, it really reminds me of the old music videos they used to make, it was unrefined and sketchy and that was a way that they showed me that they were different, special. I mean the gorillaz still make really kickass music and all but idk I don't like the way the art is being made now(I still do love Jamie Hewletts art though), so like thanks for recapturing some of what made they're music videos great to me is this
