"Why do you assume that his day was longer than hers?" It is a very good book, we'll see how the story and message translated into the show.
I am reading the book right now. I cried yesterday when Elizabeth made the announcement to quit and shared the msg with the audience, especially ladies. It was so vividly touching.
The book is so heartbreaking. I hope they put in the scene where the woman tells her she was inspired to become a doctor because of Elizabeth.
That's one of my favorite scenes in the book! I cried while I heard the audiobook version of it! And when she reads out the update at the end.
Howdie . Just a quick reminder to putt Spoiler alert before sharing something like that 😅
What is the name of the book?
@@annicktang1378 ...seriously?
I just watched the finale and they did !
For this confused about comments - they where disabled until recently. LOVED this show! Cast, production everything was just perfect.
How many times did you watch this trailer to know that even after watching the show lol
lol i wonder why
I'm more confused after reading this comment. Who are you referring to?
Huh??
Not interested
In the 1960s my town tore down a healthy Black neighborhood where descendants of slaves lived and owned businesses. Replacing those homes were a new municipal complex, chain stores, and parking lots. I'll never forget when a friend walked me to a tire store parking lot, pointed down at a couple of white lines and said, "This was my bedroom."
That's heartbreaking.
One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. I’m not sure what I expected but it was amazing. I need more shows like this, shows that make you feel something. Shows that focus on love and friendship. I cried so much 😭 watching this.
I hope you read the book. Awesome.
I agree. I’m still mourning that it’s over! So good, Brie Larson deserves an award
I love chemistry since i was in high school, i attended college but not in chemistry, is in Chemical Engineering. Chemistry is one of the few things that I like in the world and it's so rare to find something like this series and i love it. I learn many things.
Me too!! I was in Microbiology but Chemistry kept pulling me in. Oppenheimer is also chemistry too. I wish they have a better film about Marie Curie tho. Something more of chemistry rather than art.
I Love chemistry, my absolute favorite science. I'm studying Industrial Chemistry in university right now ✨️
I’m a teacher and finished this series yesterday. And now with my puffy eyes I will be teaching kids. Couldn’t keep my tears during the whole show. It was AMAZING❤
One of the best shows I have watched this year. Loved Brie in this. And the child actor who played the daughter was really good and cute too.
Every cast member is 🔥🔥 Easily one of the best shows I’ve watched! I don’t say this often about a show I love, but this one doesn’t even need a season 2..honestly.
I just finished watching the series, it was good... Every episode keeps u hooked. I really loved watching it and would recommend watching it. Waiting for the second season. I have a degree in chemistry too that's why i wanted to watch the show but its lessons about life how change is inevitable 💖and how in the end all the changes in life leads to something better.
This is a limited series. There will be no second season.
It was a one and done but if you want more you should read the book it was based on. It isn't a one to one translation. Six Thirty has a bigger role in the book and there are more chapters from his POV and there are story beats that weren't done in the series.
After watching the show, this trailer makes me tear up every time 😭
I loved it. Everyone was played perfectly
Just finished the season tonight. It was really good, I recommend it.
i think they had closed the comment section to protect Brie Larson, because of that "other" fandom, but im glad the show is a success and that she has a win this year. people are often cruel to her for no reason. she's brilliant!
The show is great. But that's not the actual reason. Apple just opened the comment section for all their contents. That were always closed it. Maybe they want to be more open now.
What "other" fandom? I love Brie. I didn't know people dislike her.
@@nina_ana333specifically men from the Avengers Fandom love to bash her. She's also as a person wholly unapologetic and being a combination of pretty, talented, and giving nezo -bleeps- is a recipe for some to hate you. I love her and think she like Margo Robbie are super refreshing.
@@ivanhall6482 oh okay I see. Thanks for explaining.
@@ivanhall6482Avengers fan here and I think this trailer looks amazing. Perfect casting, in my opinion. I also thought her depiction of Captain Marvel in End Game was fine. Especially loved that one scene where she said hi to Peter. I’ll be checking out this series later. Hopefully it’ll be as good as the clips I’ve seen of it suggest it is.
The book was excellent, I'm excited to see it come to life :)
Really loved this show.
I loved this series! the actors were great and the script and plot was so intelligent!
I don’t only recognize the cast and got surprised by seeing them but I am also very happy to see how much growth and talent they have
Finally done watching this show and WOW such an amazing show love every bit of it
I watched the whole thing today, it was perfect
Great series. Heartfelt, humorous and really insightful.
I love this show. ❤ Heartbreaking at times but so so great.
This show was so amazing. I bawled my eyes out at the end
One of my favourite shows of all time!!! I may need to read the book now 😍😩🔥
A lady reading, while watching tennis match swiatez vs collins
One of the best shows I’ve seen this year
One of the best heartwarming inspiring shows I had seen in a while.💛
The MOST incredible catalyst of what is possible when we decide what we want to do and what I do with Mothers. I am so proud of being a Mama, a Woman, a Dreamer, a Determined, and Curious human ready to experience a planet full of the Mama Medicine we all have access to when we DECLARE and DEMAND it more for ourselves first!
I'm still reading the book but I can't wait
The first two episodes were so cute, Elizabeth & Calvin got me rolling on my bed w/ their insane chemistry.. until that surprise.
Mmhmm. That surprise is what made me throw the novel at the wall. 😂
@@bdb89 it was so unexpected for me coz he was just on his usual run w/ 6:30, i thought he & elizabeth will fall out eventually while doing their project Ha ha i think i cried when he died & the episodes after that coz it was so saaaad for Elizabeth
Mais Eu sabia mesmo sem ter visto a trama em outro Lugar,eu já sabia que iria acontecer a trágica morte prematura de Calvin.😢
That surprise ? I could see it coming since the very first seconds he appeared on screen. Now I hate the series but I keep watching hoping that it will get better at some point... 😔
@@annymatias5469 Right ?? It was SO obvious ! 😐
Completely addicted and simply an amazing series. Talk about the "circle of life" and where it can lead. A little swearing and true to the times but still clean, sweet with a few tears being shed. The entire cast, the multiple stories and scenery with all interactions, is all one can hope for within this series to give that nudge of "hope and persistence". Thank Bonnie Garmus for creating the novel.
The show's phenomenal and brie larson is amazing in this....I love it sm
That was the best thing I've seen in a while 🥺
I'm definitely interested in watching this.
I love the show, I hope they have season 2
I love this series so much!
This is incredibly wonderful!
if you havet watched it then WATCH IT . its fantastic and the acting from the entire cast is perfection
Just finished reading the book. From the trailer they have made some big changes, which is exactly why I always read the book before deciding whether or not to watch the adaptation.
Oh Merry Christmas what a love story!!🙏
as a female chemistry undergrad i just know i’ll be crying
One of the best and heartwarming show series i loved all the characters🥲 and the story of two lover wow ❤ aside the Suits series this is also my favorites one. ❤❤❤ looking forward to new series of lesson chemistry.
I enjoyed every minute of this series more than I thought I would.
It's a period series that I watched and really liked.
She was meant for this role! ❤❤❤
One of the best books I have read in a long time. The author is phenomenal. Hope the show does it justice.
I finished the show and came just to read the comments! Why are there none? 😭😭😭
This show was just a Hit!!!! Loved it
I just finished the series and I love it!
I love this show! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I wish this was on other platforms
Amei o trailer ❤
Please more films like this one
What a show
Dog was my fave he is a true genius bc he understands LOVE and that is what missing in most “smarter” ppl who think there better then everyone
A must see!!!
it looks amazing...
My girlfriend and I enjoyed watching this together, recommend!
This show is fantastic! 10/10! Brie Larson and Lewis Pullman were absolutely amazing! Not to mention all the other characters! Loved it and would highly recommend this show to anyone❤️❤️❤️
How similar to the book is the tv series? I dont have apple tv and want to know the story...how much does it deviate from the book?
Great serie. Really unexpected to me
i must say that this is a good book 📖♥︎
"Why do you assume that his day was longer than hers? Why don't you make the drink?" WAOW!
I find it humorous they cut out the fbomb for the trailer "Why don't you make the fing drink"
Show❤
For a moment i thought that was Diane Kruger.. she looks similar and speaking with the same cadence as a character DK played in The Bridge
I know I am late to the party but I just had a chance to watch and finish this series and OMG!! I thought this was the best tv mini series I have ever seen in a long long time. Mainly because I saw this series come up for nomination for best series in the Emmys (and Golden Globe too I think) !! Now how this series DID NOT win anything is a shocker to me ,,, and how Brie Lawson DID NOT win anything is a double shocker to me ,, for her to memorize all those scientific and chemistry terms and learn the language NO ONE else can do that ,, just an amazing series. Bring on Season II ,, the cliff hanger was wow!!
With all the blockbuster movies she is been doing lately, the world sometimes forget what a gift of an actor Brie Larson is, i hope she gets over her tentpole phase & comes back to those acclaimed indie gems that skyrocketed her career in the first place
Pas étonnant que capitaine Marvel était une chimiste révolutionnaire et amoureuse, magnifique jeu d'acteur (je suis presque amoureuse de l'actrice principale haha)
Verdade 😊
This show is on Apple TV and it’s called Lessons in Chemistry for anyone who doesn’t know! :))
finally a film about us food scientists lol
Okay but they really played us with just two episodes showcasing Liz's and Calvin's romance 😭 I couldn't get enough. Any suggestions for shows with that kind of romance? Something like "the last letter from your lover" and "Brooklyn" kinda vibes
i want to see calvin again
Why no comments??
Brie Larson should just quit Marvel. Capt marvel role is just holding her back. Edit: 3 episodes in and I could say wow, this show reminded me so much of Bojack Horseman. The balance between slice of life & sad moments its so good
Exactly, she is way better with this kind of tv shows….
The book was so different and better. Still enjoyed the TV series
NEW TOP 3 GOT THE WIRE LIC
Too bad this is only on Apple tv. 😢
You know is good when Harry Styles music is in on it ❤
Does anyone know the song used here in the trailer?
Harry Styles - Sign of the Times
Found my dad watching this tonight. Came and watched it with him. Watched it all in one go. Freaking awesome, but Calvin’s death totally took me by surprise. I knew the dog was foreshadowing something when he kept pulling Calvin away from the street. Overall this was great. Brie Larson is awesome, and this show was awesome!!!
F
Im kinda gonna stop watching now that hes dead lol
Can’t believe I have never heard of this till now. Brie Larson is my favorite actress rn. Well after Elizabeth Olsen
why only 14 comments after 11 million views.....i didn't understand let me make it 15 !!!!!!!
Apple use to disable comment on all their KZhead videos, that's ALL of them including product announcements. They opened them up recently which is weird pivot.
You remind me of the woman in the movie lessons in chemistry.
Easy
I dont understand that too . Beug i guess
Stuartttt
I’ll add another
Let's make a second comment, just because😊
Does it have a happy ending? No spoilers please. I just hear people cried because of it so I'm worried its a sad ending. I cant seperate movies from reality very well and a sad ending will have me depressed for weeks.
While it took a bit of effort to like Ms Larson in the Marvel films -- she is a delight in just about everything else she does.
❤
Am I first to comment after 11 million views and 2 months of this video?
Married to a scientist. One false note in this show, which I love. Men higher educated STEM professionals cannot dance. I wish they could. Brain types are opposite.
Oh wow it's brie cheese larson
No it’s Brie amazing Larson.

Walter White Approved Breaking Bad is The Deal
I’m reading the book right now…and Jesus Christ
is it based on true story ?
Is this the prequel to breaking bad?
No. This is based on a book by the same name 'Lessons in Chemistry' written by Bonnie Garmus.
@@rojaachar what?
Omg, no!
