  • Great to see Tyler back around, he played such a vital role in this run.

    • The dude is seemingly everywhere right now. There’s a gas station near me that just had a grand opening for its car wash and he was there to promote it. Someone reading will likely know which one lmao

  • Reminds me of a commercial, I think for Reebok, where Sid and Max shoot pucks at the dryer in Sid's boyhood home's basement. When Max falls behind, he says, "Who scored two goals in game 7 of the Finals?" Lol

  • I remain a big fan of "Superstar Treatment" until this day. Max said in an interview back then before Game 7 about which player could be the hero of the game, he said "Why can't I be the hero? I'd like to think I could be the hero". He scored 2 goals & he was the hero!

  • 2009 Jordan Staal sooooo underrated

    @brendanroe8604@brendanroe860411 ай бұрын
    • I don’t think Staal was underrated. The Pens knew exactly what he could do and he was highly rated. On any other team, he would be a #1 or 2 center, but he was stuck behind Sid and Malkin on the depth chart and the Pens enjoyed having three number 1 centers during that time.

  • I am one of the biggest female Pens fans in the world. I have watched this G7 SO many times throughout the yrs and I still had tears watching you boys watch this together. What a night, what a run, and what a save by MAF to win the Cup. TK you were awesome that game and MT with 2 goals including the GWG was bitter sweet. I was mad when they traded Colby. And poor Hossa eh. My heart hurt for Sid, being my fellow Nova Scotian and all. The Big G winning the CS trophy and his smile, I'll never forget it. I remember watching this game with my momma, and how we both celebrated. So happy she got to watch 2 more before she passed in 2019. She loved her Sid, MAF and Kuni. Man, I loved this game and my Pittsburgh Penguins. Thanks for doing this guys, and thanks for winning us a beautiful Cup.

    • Been a fan since 1991. Watching Mario and Jagr hoist the cup was everything. That was a great era. So, was this, Sid's first cup. Loved watching Maxime play.

  • Im with Talbot. Malkin's ceiling level of play is some of if not the prettiest hockey I've ever seen and that includes all the greats. He can be a bit bipolar, though. No hate though, I am too.

  • Was there as Pens fan. Some fans were rude to me and other wings fans defended saying that we don't act like that. Very classy organization in those days.

  • Well done guys. Great reliving that game...what a special game for Pens fans and you can just see how special it was in the eyes of both Max and TK, especially as they watch the cup celebration. Max was always a fan favorite, but this game cemented his place in Pens history. Crazy to think really, with all of the talent on that bench. Who'd have thought that Max Talbot would be the hero. Great video guys.

  • Tyler Kennedy is an underrated player who I think should go down in history as a classic Penguin. He provided depth scoring, and stuck up for his teammates despite his size. When I first became a hockey fan and penguins fan, he was immediately among my favorite players. The contemporary Penguins could use a player like him.
