@@TimTimAwesome is it really? The odds for shiny hunting in Dynamax adventures are really high. I feel like the higher odds but longer time for encounters probably just cancels out any real difference in time it takes.
@@razrv3lc No, I've done both quite alot and can confirm that SRs in usum and oras are way quicker. Unless you just constantly get really lucky in dynamax adventures they just take too long. Every hunt I've done in usum have at most lasted around a week and the hunts of done in dynamax adventures have lasted at least a few months longest being over a year. The 1/100 odds are there for a reason they take an extremely long time for each encounter and plus If you wanted to synchronize for a certain nature you can with SRs but not in dynamax adventures. I'm not telling anyone what to do but I'm just saying from my experience SRs are DRASTICALLY quicker but ultimately you do what you think is more fun.

@@purplegh0st311now my only way of getting any legendary is via pokemon lets go and pokemon shining pearl. Dynamax adventures is not worth it for some specific legendaries like groudon or kyogre who one shot you in dynamax battles.

As a shiny hunter, the prospect of hunting these mons in an open world setting where the shinies are visible in the overworld seemed genuinely exciting. Felt like something new and refreshing. Yet, you're tellng me there's not ONE? God. Even if it were just the unreleased ones like Meloetta and the horses, I'd have been more than happy and been fine w the others being locked. But of course they pull this bs.

Mate go on twitch and search for “ berichandev” you may aswell use the services and obtain your desired shiny legendary from this amazing channel. You will have your own OT. Just take time to read the commands. I wouldn’t normally advise this but F*+k them they have ruined the experience yet again.

One of my friends is so disappointed about the returning Legendary Pokémon being Shiny Locked that they’re now refusing to play the DLC. They *really* wanted a Shiny Spectrier

Not playing the dlc honestly this has ruined my excitement for this dlc. Game freak screwed up this dlc and it shows how scummy they are by bundling this dlc with the previous one.

Also, regarding those sheets, the scatterbug has an icy snow form in the form dex sheet but after the teal mask update, the visual difference between the icy snow and rest of the forms was removed

I feel like Khu is really dropping the ball with this DLC: 1) he hinted that Hydrapplin was Bug/Dragon. Wrong. 2) he hinted that fans would be hyped about Kieran’s story in DLC2. Can’t speak for everyone else, but I felt it was mid. 3) he hinted about shiny legendaries, one of them being Spectrier, that you could find as part of the DLC. The data mine shows that is shiny locked.
After part one I knew there would be no hype from me for that crybaby

Yeah that's strange. Not sure why he said all of that stuff when it's wrong. Maybe he made a mistake idk. I kinda felt like he was hyping us up too much. I went into the DLC with low expectations because I wasn't expecting for any theories to come true or whatever. I'm not super disappointed in the story but I just wish that it was longer... kinda felt anti climactic. Still love the DLC tho. I'm so sad that the legendaries are shiny locked. I really wanted to get them shiny but even if they weren't shiny locked, I bet we'd have to soft reset to get them shiny and I hate that. I really don't wanna do DAs they suck. All I can do is RNG in BDSP I guess... sadge

I think it's pronounced "Peach-a-runt", since "Momotaro" means "peach boy". And I think it used Poison Puppeteer to revive the Loyal Three through Kieran.
I think pecha is correct considering the berry that heals poison and it's supposed relation to the 3. Dunno. Not played. Came out at a stupid time
The poison chain on the three and what makes the poison type correlates to Peacherunt toxic mimicry ability and how it grants wishes to Pokémon and people in order to enslave them to do its bidding.

I honestly can’t think of a single reason legendaries are starting to get shiny locked, and don’t even get me started on the stater mons. All it does is attract more hype and make more people play it longer

That is really the Last Time i‘ll be buying a dlc beforehand what a scam… shiny locking legendaries from previous gens.. people are Playing for the Story, vgc or to shiny hunt

I almost bought the dlc because assumed "well legendaries confirmed, they can't shiny lock them cuz last time the focus was hunting shinies with prob 1/100". Well they did so I didn't bought it
The only reason I'm not 100% upset is because I haven't gotten around to getting the SwSh DLC yet so I can get some of those, but I'm not sure I want to buy into Pokémon anymore. I don't play go due to location/mobility issues and they're chopping the 3DS connectivity next year so if I literally have to pay more than the price of the games/DLC to do shiny hunting, I won't do it. Pokémon is a big part of me but I'm getting priced out here.

I was super excited for shiny hunting legendries since I have to solo raid dens and it's a little rough for time that way. My hype for this dlc was 90 percent shiny hunting the legends.

Perhaps they intent to further increase the longetivity by making legendaries shiny locked and then do7 star raid events for the shiney versions. That way they can drop whenever nintendo wants and we'll all be playting. On one hand its kind of cool of that would happen as the reward is the shiney version of your legendary but kind of takes away the charm of having a shiny.
Trust me when I say, shiny hunter discord servers are pretty okay with 'easy' to get raid shinies. You probably are right bout them giving us shiny raids of the legendaries, seeing as I feel they'd run out of actually engaging event raids soon otherwise. This way, each legendary gets two weekends of huntability before the next gets their chance

You know, Hydrapple is genius when you think about it. Applin and it’s evolutions have always been based on worms in apples, but also wyrms (the dragon), and a cool trait about worms is that if you cut one in half it’ll just grow back and kinda now be split into two worms. What Greek mythical creature is known for growing itself back and with an extra extension to itself after being chopped? The hydra! It’s even backed up by the Pokémon being able to learn regenerator

Just wanted to say I love the content and more importantly, I really appreciate the way that you delivered the bad news about the shiny locks. Someone has to do it and you did it tastefully without over reacting but also showed disappointment with the rest of us.
Hydrapplin having only a single head and still being a "hydra" still kinda fits, as mythology has different interpretations of what a hydra actually is: "The oldest extant Hydra narrative appears in Hesiod's Theogony, while the oldest images of the monster are found on a pair of bronze fibulae dating to c. 700 BC. In both these sources, the main motifs of the Hydra myth are already present: a multi-headed serpent that is slain by Heracles and Iolaus. While these fibulae portray a six-headed Hydra, its number of heads was first fixed in writing by Alcaeus (c. 600 BC), who gave it nine heads. Simonides, writing a century later, increased the number to fifty, while Euripides, Virgil, and others did not give an exact figure. Heraclitus the Paradoxographer rationalized the myth by suggesting that the Hydra would have been a single-headed snake accompanied by its offspring." Also - totally best source of Greek mythology ever! - in Disneys "Hercules" the Hydra at the beginning of his battle has only a single head. Hercules then tries to kill it by cutting of that single head, and then the Hydra begins to grow more heads. Which he then again tries to cut off, so the Hydra grows even more heads. Of course that movie is completely inaccurate about Greek mythology, but its still an interesting thought if the hydra that mythological Heracles faces actually had three heads already from the beginning or if somebody else already tried and failed to defeat a single-headed hydra before Heracles battled the monster and thus turned single-headed hydra into three-headed hydra.
Looking forward to playing this DLC for ScVi, and glad Meloetta is a static. It’s one of two event legendary Pokemon I don’t have. Now just need to find a way to get Hoopa 👀

I bought the crown tundra/Isle of armor dlc day one for sword/shield when it released and greatly enjoyed that. For this game i did not buy the dlc and still haven't decided whether or not i actually will. There doesn't seem to be any pressing concern to do so. Only thing is that i can't get Blood Moon Ursa. This dlc has looked rather disappointing and I'm not willing to blindly throw my money at game freak if this is what their quality standard is going to be.
I'd be happy to trade u a Bloodmoon Ursaluna if u want. I have a second 1 from my other copy of the game.

After completing the Scarlet DLC time to pop open Dynamax adventures… mannnn that really bites
Quick info for tha palkia and diaga if you go to where you first encounter the water gym leader you can find a vendor selling the the adamant orb and crystal, along with the the lustrous variant so you can get the origin forme God's of space and time!
They also sell the plates for Arceus.

Fun fact: if you use Koraidon/Miraidon to fly on top of the terrarium you can get an ability patch, 50 stellar Tera shards, and a golden bottle cap. Hope I helped :)
Man, it feels nothing short of just SHEER disappointment hearing that the legendaries are shiny-locked in the final part of this game- especially considering it's DLC that we paid money for alongside the time we've invested in the games. I was genuinely hoping there was going to be a way to hunt for the shiny Unova legendary trio or Glastrier + Spectrier, but I guess it's back to spending unlimited time grinding Dynamax Adventures in SWSH once again (and praying we can get the shiny horsies somehow in the future). IMO, I want to feel rewarded with my shinies by finding them myself through hard work and catching them in my regular Pokeballs, not be handfed event shiny Pokemon with codes Game Freak either rarely puts out, or puts another paywall behind. On top of that, Pokemon Home maintenance is going to take a little over 30 HOURS on DLC release day? You'd think they would have done all of that before the DLC came out. Half of my new team of Lv. 80's meant for the new DLC battles is currently sitting in Home and I would prefer not to rush through the new story with Lv. 100's. So I have to hopelessly wait until Home is back up and updated before I can even play the DLC. Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited for some of the features included in the DLC, including the Synchro system (forgive me if I spelled it incorrectly). I'm also looking forward to seeing the story progress for the characters. The new sandwiches that give you Sparkling Power for all types is also a very nice addition for some shiny hunters. But at the same time, I still feel like Game Freak just completely slapped a lot of their fans in the face with this one.
Why would they give you the chance to catch a shiny legendary when you can pay them for one on Pokemon Go?
I had to look it up, but poison puppeteer makes it so any time it poisons something, it also confuses it

I swear the Pokémon Company always finds a way to give us what we want, but in the worst way possible. Two different DOC packages? Totally awesome! But you still can’t get every single Pokémon cause we know that’s what you want. Returning legendaries? Awesome! But they’re all shiny locked because we know that’s what you guys want .

Great info. I'm going to play this and have fun with what it has, then go back to galar for dynamax adventures. It was just too obvious to make tera adventures a thing. Why not? Simply a microcosm of how I've felt about S/V, and I absolutely hate being someone complaining I really do love Pokemon

This is the first game I cared enough and had the ability to get the shiny charm cause I knew there was gonna be some cool things in the dlc. Meloetta hurts the most.
Shiny locks are entirely just to be able to have shiny only or shiny increased raids.
Hydrapple is perfect! All I cared about was Hydrapple being Grass/Dragon and that’s exactly what I got! 🥳 Thank god it’s _not_ Bug/Dragon. There were countless idiots on social media hoping for that because they didn’t think it through at all. I’m glad the people at GF did, cuz as much as I want a Bug/Dragon type eventually, I only want to see that typing on a Pokémon that it actually makes sense on.

Makes me sad that i was basically right to not get the DLC’s. Aside from missing the story, there were so few new pokemon, and a lot of shiny locks….. new pokemon and shiny hunting them is what keeps me coming back! This was deflating
