@@gunner0479 Cutback goals have always looked nice to me, I agree though still, players need to shoot more like they used to. We have games nowadays where there is too much focus on creating insanely good openings rather than taking occasional shots.
Bellerin just scored a similar curled goal this season against Chelsea.

Who remembers midway through the 2014-15 season when Ramsey was used effectively as a right winger. It was used to accommodate the Cazorla - Coquelin axis with Sanchez, Ozil, Giroud and Ramsey playing ahead. It was a very brave move by Wenger at the time but the team flourished from that period and we ended up winning the Fa Cup. And gave rise to Bellerin, as Ramsey would move inside and allow Bellerin the right flank.

I'm not an arsenal fan, not ever was one, but I loved watching this arsenal side. I come from Canada and I was only introduced to football in 2013 or 2014, so this was one of my first teams to watch live (on TV of course)

As a Chilean, I have seen Alexis Sanchez play all my life. He is the historical scorer of my country and I must say that "el niño maravilla" (as they say in my country), spent the best moments of his career at Arsenal and I hope Alexis retires at Arsenal, because he is the best South American in the history of the arsenal.

Arsenal's midfield in this match had Ramsey,Cazorla and Ozil (who was probably top 10 footballers in the world at the point). And look at their midfield now. As a Manchester United fan it's a shame what Arteta and the Arsenal board have done with the team. Ozil and Sanchez made Arsenal a joy to watch

@@nyashamwenje4351 yes absolutely. Odegaard is class but they bottled the league when it mattered the most. I’m legit not confident on how they will do in the UCL. Also the dynamic of Rice,Odegaard and Havertz will never work that well in the PL. Their midfield will be ran over by physical teams. It may work against few low blocks where they will just sit back. Teams like Liverpool and Newcastle may just rip apart this midfield. They need partey in it (who isn’t world class but his physicality is going to be vital in such matches instead of havertz)

I see players trying to move the ball forward but these days the keeper touches the ball as much as, if not more than the striker. Very slow transition which allows the team to regroup and reorganize.

This was peak Coquelin era, and Santi was just perfect next to him. The defensive/holding midfielder duo wasn't the issue then. Maybe take a deep look into the back line.
