I really don’t care for how Taylor just took the award off Celine’s hands and did not even make eye contact with her. What was that? She’s in her 30’s now and should have the mindfulness of being present and gracious. I think a lot of Taylor, but that faux pas disappointed me. Taylor swifts Album 1989 Taylor's Version has sold 2 Million & is her 9th Album to hit the 2 Million mark. This info is on Billboard. As for total Album sales as of 7 July 2023, Taylor Swift has sold a total of 75,699,207 Beyonce has sold a total of 42,045,134 according to Newsweek. But Beyonce holds the record for all time Grammy wins with 32. I really don't care much for either one of them myself. I could count on one hand how many of their songs that I actually like. So I have no horse at all in this race.
I think comedian Michael Che (?) can’t remember said the the thing that no one wants to say and probably should just so we can clear the air. As a black man (of whom i am as well), i think a lot of black people don’t listen to Taylor’s music, so its hard for them to understand why she sometimes beats Beyoncé in some categories . But a little empathy and it should be obvious. Taylor is to white women what Beyoncé is to black women - a symbol of empowerment and aspiration while still being relatable. They are just princesses of different kingdoms, they don’t need to be competitors, they are sisters.
I was most excited seeing Miley win her first Grammy for that awesome song Flowers! I knew when I first heard that song it was something special, and obviously, others thought so too! I especially loved watching her perform it on stage! (except for seeing Oprah!) I really liked the extra lyrics she put at the end and her safety pin dress was out of this world cool!
I totally agree. I love Miley, but I just don't listen to that kind of music. Of course, Flowers is so huge, even if you live under a rock like me, you would have still heard it. The first time it played on my Accoustic Coffe House station, I was hooked. I love how empowering it is.

Best award show I have seen in a long time...Trevor Noah was great !!! It was a beautiful show and all the beautiful people were there. I loved seeing Joanie Mitchell and an amazing Billie Joel finally with a great new song. Celine Dion was a wonderful surprise and as beautiful as always. Taylor Swift has such a beautiful heart and deserves every award she has won. If fact, they are all winners but only one can bring home the Grammy. Great show ❤❤
