Oh my, Jimmy. I am so sorry for your ranch, but praise the Lord for the protection that he gave your ranch and you and Apache. I will certainly keep praying for sulfur in the people around there. We had tornadoes come through near me too but oh Lord spared us as well.

Everytime I watch the storm map I look to your area. That Sulphur tornado I knew was close to u. Glad to hear Apache was so diligent. I guess more water means more beavers so don't let hour guard down on them. Hopefully the weather will calm down sooner than later. Prayers to everyone involved 🙏. Got really close to me down here in Ardmore, maybe a mile away. Many of these small towns took big hits, but the loss of life was really at a minimum versus the strength these twisters had. At very least a few F3 levels, if not more. Praying for our neighbors, and grateful for all the lives spared.

I was very concerned because my daughter is married to an Air Force officer and they are currently stationed in Wichita Falls. I'm glad to hear that God protected your house.. In Oct 2021 a huge one came over my property, tearing down trees in front both sides and back, with one hickory on south side on roof, one large post oak behind the house with 2 big limbs out of it, one in landed in middle of roof and the other on the north corner, but no wood damage to the rafters, I did have to replace the singles.. My shed in front like yours, huge tree blown over without touching the shed, where other large walnut trees blown in opposite directions where it appears that God didn't allow that one to hit my shed.. God is good Neighbor in front lost 2 large buildings, but his house was hardly touched either, neighbor behind me, had a large shop being nearly destroyed with a large tree on his house roof.. Those things are destructive machines... Glad you and Chris are both ok, and God bless..

Not the fun part of living here in Oklahoma. Prayers go out to everyone affected and to the young family that lost one of their baby girls. Can't think on it, so painful and beyond words. We had some destruction over here near Morris, which was wiped out in the 80's by a tornado. We had one go over trying to touch down two years ago and I will never get over hearing that sound, like a demon roaring and we were scared like Apache when we realized what we were listening to, and wondering what is going to happen next. Too many new folks using Tenkiller these days but for us old timers you were one of the iconic names associated with that lake and always will be. Great to hear you talk about it as home. Wow, prayers for all the folks affected by the tornado. Glad the ranch was mostly safe and you were away. It is good you have the shelter so Apache could get into it. My sister lives in Florida and has to prepare for hurricanes every year. Scary! Nature is beautiful but can be quite devastating. We get them here in SC, but nothing like some states. I heard one when I was young and had no idea it was one. It must have not touched down for long. However, I was in one as a small child when my family lived in Arizona. It skipped our house and only disturbed our swimming pool water. My dad drove the family around, and we all realized how lucky we were. Mom had me go in the basement apartment and get under the pool table. I might have been in the first grade at the time. My Spanish teacher was injured. Hard to forget that. Be safe!
I am so sorry that you all were affected by the tornadoes, we had a similar situation happen to us a few months ago, we had tornadoes come through our area and took trees down around mine and a lot of other people’s houses in our area and the trees were laying beside or wrapped around the houses but there wasn’t damage to the houses, some houses had minimal damage. God is so good. I thank Him for keeping y’all safe. God bless the town of Sulfur.

So sad to see all the devastation. Praise God, you and yours are safe. What a loss and yet what an opportunity to put Jesus' love in a practical way of loving thy neighbor. Daniel and DeeJay are such wonderful witnesses. Despite loss they experienced, they are in the midst helping.

The photos and videos from Sulphur's downtown area are completely devastating to witness. Both businesses and homes were completely destroyed, but can be rebuilt. However, the taking of human life is something we hate to bear witness too. Our Christ and Lord has given us a caring heart which fills us with compassion. He has also blessed us with many gifts, a grateful heart, and a loving heart that allows us to help those who are suffering and have lost everything. I am asking those who have the means, please think about making a donation to the American Red Cross and churches collect a sympathy relief offering to help the people of Sulphur. 🙏🏼Heavenly Father, Thank You for giving us tender compassion for those us who are hurting, in need and suffering. May we be willing to share our portion with total strangers and show our Love for others that You, God have given us. Through offerings, prayers and thanksgiving may we help those rebuild their lives and livelihoods as a small token of our love, knowing all things come from You, God, that we offer back to help our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. The bountiful goodness You have given us will be shown to others! In the name of the Holy Son Jesus and in the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen! ❤✝🙏🏼
