Besides, Is it not also the contemptuous law that is hanging over the judicial critics as a Damocles sword and gagging the freedom of expression in pinpointing the shortcomings of the legal machinery.

They wrote to SJC in terms of seeking guidance how to avoid being guilty of misconduct if they expose the interference of agency, as there’s no guidance or procedure to file charges, if the judge speaks he is removed on the name of misconduct. Silence or be the victim otherwise be removed….
The Constitution of Pakistan is the only document which can resolve such matters amicably. The distribution of powers amongst the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary as envisaged by the Constitution must be followed in letter and spirit. This is the only solution for the smooth running of the state.
