My man just build a full dinosaur. Amazing job!
I agree lol he could make his own museum in his backyard and the creatures don’t have to be to scale just roughly the size of ponies and then use those old drawings they use to show the actual size of the animals
he really did didn't he, and it took only 130 days
@@ericcond half a century is very long
@@sillygoose42069 no shit
You can’t fool us. He’s not your man.
I can't remember the last time I was so impressed by a youtube video. What an amazing combination of knowledge of dinos, so many building techniques, artistry, video editing, and dry humor in a soothing almost ASMR voice.
I’m glad you liked it!
I can from north of the borders spooky stuff. It’s fun that you made a life sized dino
❤😮
@@Itz-a-NEKO fruit bowl incident
dude, great project, great editing and great video!
Hey Thanks! I was just thinking about you! Hit me up if ya ever want to collab 😅

@@Kayakasaurus you can make a therizinosaurus real size? Bro you make good dinos!
@@Purplefiregodzilla that is singlehandedly the best idea I've ever heard

I’m a bit sad that this didn’t last long enough to make people appreciate that you spent almost 14 months on this, you are so good, i follow you since the worst sculptures giveaway on various account and really saw you shine, keep it you really inspired me
It's amazing how you mix the characteristics of different animals such as geckos, birds, turtles, and even mammals. Also, your video editing and narrative are on point! What wonderful work, keep it up!
😊
Been waiting a while to see the end result of this and man it blew my expectations away. You seriously outdid yourself here, Kayak, was totally worth the wait. It looks like that thing could up and walk away if it wanted to. I hope a museum hires you someday to make sculptures for them.
Thank you
@@Kayakasaurus the work you do is too good for humanity to comprehend
This video is very impressive and professional. I am a sculptor and my 10 yr old Gr. Grandson is a dinosaur expert. We live not far from the Paleontology museum in Drumheller. We build small sculptures from clay (real and polymer). I will have him watch this video for sure. Your knowledge, patience, attention to detail and methods are first class. Your resources such as equipment and materials are beyond our budget but perhaps we can raise our game in the future. You, young man, have a great life ahead of you. Congratulations! and Thankyou!
Great grandson? How old are you just saying
I am Chilean, that is, from the country where this dinosaur was discovered. I am very happy that you have reconstructed it. Your figure is much better than any reconstruction I have seen.
This is my favourite video of all time. Everything about it is perfect, it has a dinosaur, good pacing, good editing, nice voice, cool music, little sound effects, good camera quality, everything is amazing in this!
Thanks! I’m glad the camera quality looks good because I only use my cell phone 😄
You’ve outdone yourself with this model! Absolutely love your work and I’m happy to see how much you’ve improved :)
Did anyone else find the face view from the ground to be cute
Yes 😊
Artistic Talent +10, Construction Skills +10, Scientific Knowledge +10, overall Geekiness +10, Humor +10. Strong work man!!!!
I just want to bring to attention how good your editing is. It's so smooth and makes the video just as good as the model itself.
It looks like you took a picture of a real animal! I hope you do more life-size Dinosaurs in the future, because this looks amazing! I'll bet that the Creators of Prehistoric Planet will use this design for a possible Second Season.
Season 2 came out, unfortunately it’s not in it :(
The amount of structural and anatomical knowledge you need to build this thing is insane! Nice job! I hope to see more content like this in the future!
Kayakasaurus's videos are the type of videos you try to look for to eat your snack with.
As a bio nerd this is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, the references from different animals with similar skin textures and traits is PHENOMENAL. Amazing work!
Thanks!
Bro made a life sized Stegouros that blows the hatchling Maiasaurus and Protoceratops out of the water, I would love a life sized Stegouros
It's always amazing watching a lump of material turn into a cohesive, intelligible design. You crafts-people always impress me with y'all's creativity.
Dude… this was one of the more amazing things I have witnessed. Incredible
Hey thanks!
Gotta say this is very impressive, love seeing these kinds of big projects come together
absolutely astonishing! As someone who has done alot of research into paleontology in general I'm very impressed by the degree of research and anatomical accurately put into your sculpt, let alone the fact you picked on of the most interesting and bizarre dinosaurs out there. I'm also very glad you were aware of how keratin could effect the actual appetence of osteoderms etc especially on the tail. I also really really really love the coluoration.
Thanks I’m glad you like it
Your works should be in the museum this is amazing
Him running through the forest with it looks so comedic. Like he just stole a dinosaur
Nah this guy is different. You have to be one of the best sculptors out there. Incredible work bro 👍
man this guy is your best yet. sooo in love with those colors. your videos have become so engaging i cant just put them on as background noise anymore, i just have to watch the whole thing to see what sort of silly things happen!
Man this was such an absolute joy to watch. From conceptualisation to realisation, all the way through. It was so interesting to see all the different animal and colour references used, and all the sculpting and painting techniques too. Thank you for this, please do more! (The fact that these are available in smaller scale also boggles my mind, that 3D scanner is so handy)
It’s so cool how you combined a bunch of different Animals to make the Stegouros look like a real Dinosaur!
Me when other YTers post: Add it to the watch later list. When Kayakasaurus posts: *Aw heck yea! LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!*
I absolutely love you used a knob tail gecko for color and tail position! They are so cute!! (Most geckos are though!)
They are!
This is absolutely amazing! I could see this being among a museum display. Your attention to detail is unmatched. I particularly love how the head scales turned out, and I love the rippling keratin on the tail and beak.
I love the creative choices you made in the detailing. I love that you used multiple animal references.
I'm so happy that Crafsman introduced your channel by opening those dinosaur eggs you sent, I'm a follower and patreon since then. It's amazing to watch you work, the editing is top notch and you made me smile too with those little jokes. You need more subs and especially more patreon supporters! Edit: What, there are only 2 lowest tier supporters and I'm one of them? Damn, I need to step I my patreon-game. I just upgraded my support tier. You are doing an amazing job!
Thanks for the support
@@Kayakasaurus When I was a kid, I was really into dinosaurs, but that was back in 1996 - the release of Jurassic Park. Today I'm not a huge dinosaur fan, but I love to see how you work, that's why I'm supporting. Keep up the great work!
this is gorgeous! I’d love to see you work on species like archaeopteryx, but I always fall in love with these designs and the references you use to paint them. you are cool as hell
I just love it when people who are depicting prehistoric animals, reference current animals for their various features!!
My child self whom had a special interest in dinosaurs is screaming with joy at this masterpiece of a dino sculpture you've created
😁
Wow, I'm seriously impressed😍I remember the old stuff at the museum, they were looking painted plaster with no life in them. Your one has it.
I love how we never know what size your next build will be!!! Awesome job!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
I really love the colors that you chose. And you attention to detail has me in awe. I think I may buy me one of those 3d printed ones.
One of the highest quality videos I've seen in awhile. Love the calm and quirk, and you are so hardworking! Subscribed
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it
I like your concept of spending more time on each project rather than making a bunch of fast videos. This doesn’t seem to be faring too well with the algorithm, but keep rebelling, these videos are amazing!
You’re fantastic with video editing!! Not only do you create such a beautiful piece of art (GORGEOUS)! But also the way you blended the different animals and their different coloring. He’s stunning ✌️💜😃👍👍
man, your work never ceases to amaze me. the paint job on this one is gorgeous!
Thanks I’m glad you like it! it was a risky color choice
Oh wow.. you know your dinos! Very well done! Loved the editing and quality of the filming as well!
I find your whole build fantastic but, I it's really cool seeing how you used all different kinds of animals for reference.
Great video! Top notch dinosaur construction and very entertaining edit. Loved it!
Thanks man!
I'm subbed to him to
Your sculpting is always amazing but watching you do the details on the detail was absolutely stunning! The way you transitioned to the melded plates was SO FREAKING GOOD
My son loves the 3D print of this he received for his birthday! I got a video of him saying, "it's from Kayakasaurus, I'm his biggest fan!" 😊😊
What an incredible work of art this guys was! And all the different mediums and avenues you took to build it are nothing short of just downright inspirational! Not to meantion he's life size! Compared to your other lifesize creation, which was also incredible don't get me wrong, the improvement seen with him is just AWESOME!!
Amazing that is insane and very well done this is why I love your KZhead channel so much
Thank you :)
Does anyone else find his voice soothing?
Love how they pull inspiration from real animals. I never would have thought of that even though it makes complete sense! Amazing
I feel like your work just keeps getting more and more impressive all the time. This little guy is just delightful, and I love his coloration. The trick with using silicone molds and putty to apply the scales is genius.
This is a ✨ masterpiece ✨
We’re not doing this again.

The attention to detail is just otherworldly. The skin looks so lifelike! This is the coolest Paleo sculpture I've ever seen
不得不說. 這是神作 ! 版主的巧手堪比造物主. 只差沒有魔法能給牠生命而已 ❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Every time you sculpt something I'm in total AWE. You do such great work.
This was a magical experience and everything I didn't know I wanted.
Positive aditude, original jokes, imaginative, cheesy, simple, and creative. You've earned my subscription.
This is one of the greatest crafting achievements on KZhead! Your work here is incredible and you deserve lots of attention for such dedication.
Your content never fails to inspire me
Amazing project! Showed it to my son as an example of creativity, ingenuity, persistence. He’s five and loves dinosaurs and was super impressed.
He’s such a little guy, I love him so much. Thank you for blessing me with a video of creating him!
An absolute beautiful creature! I love how many inspos you took from so many different animals to make this guy! keep up the amazing work
This guy is incredible. As a fellow sculptor, I also really enjoyed seeing so many different techniques and materials used in one project.
You made that by yourself!! You deserve subscribers for your hard work
Perhaps the best 1:1 scale Dinosaur ever made!

This turned out amazing! If you ever make another full scale sculpture and want it to stay outdoors all year long, you should look into Pal Tiya as a sculpting medium.
Aww. Such a shame we can't have them like a pets. Imagine this little dude running around on your back yard with cutest sounds in the world
I like how you give us info on the subject & materials along the way
This is absolutely amazing!!! You did such a good job! I can’t wait to see more.
Building an awesome new dinosaur? Amazing! And a bonus Crafsman reference??! Exceptional!

On the one hand, cute new Dinosaur!! On the other hand..."Can I pet that dawg?" keeps popping up in my head because your dog is adorable man.
Thanks 😁🐶
I love how quiet his voice is and how confidently he sends his jokes
Mind blown!!! It turned out so amazing!!! Well done!
Ah, so this is where you've been. I was wondering why you hadn't uploaded, but I fully get it now. Also, great work, it looks really nice and I cant wait to see your next project.
Very impressive job! Thanks for sharing this with us.
If you haven't already, @Kayakasaurus I highly recommend giving your card to educational institutions and local theatres. This is absolutely STUNNING and could easily be a museum piece. *crushes subscribe button*
I’m in awe of your process, this was inspiring to watch
Youre skills fromt eh sculpting to the editing is insane and i love it so much
This is the first man that talks during an amazing project
I can't believe you made yourself such a big dinosaur. I'm just speechless. And again: The fact that you took inspiration from living animals is such a wonderful and unique touch! Makes this pretty lil stegp so much more realistic
Really nice sculpture and a beautiful paint job. Enjoyed seeing your mix of mediums, techniques and references. One of your most impressive works to date. Nicely done!
Amazing work! So many materials and techniques and they come together so beautifully and cohesively. The paint job is awesome and really suits this dinosaur too.
There is nothing that brings me more joy in this world than videos like this
The editing in the video is probably the best I’ve ever seen in a KZhead video!
Love seeing how your skills in both model making and content creation have grown and improved as I've been watching. Your narration is interesting and funny and your voice is nice to listen to. The editing is so smooth and polished and even the little fun things you do (like the sequence of uncovering the dino from the snow) aren't like annoyingly long or obnoxious. Your models are incredible as always and loved seeing you work with a bunch of different materials. Foam clay is one of my favorites to use, so easy and versatile. Literally my only complaint about you/what you do is that your models are too good but Etsy shipping to the UK is...very expensive. I'd probably have bought a good few things from your store by now but I suppose it's better for my wallet that you aren't UK based haha Keep up the amazing work, I'm excited to see what's in store next
Beautiful subtle work. Absolutely amazing
The music, your voice, the quick glimpses of each step 👌🏻
My son loves your videos! He's a 5 year old clay enthusiast, has his own potter's wheel and everything. He says you and he would be best friends!
This video was so awesome and the amount of work and creativity is just heart warming
I work with knobtailed geckos, I loved seeing how they influence the final piece, especially the spicy posture. It also reminds me a bit of Wheelers knob tailed gecko.
That’s great geckos are really neat
This video gave me some strong ASMR vibes. It was so relaxing to watch, while listening to your soothing voice-over. You delivered the perfect blend of humor and facts, keeping me thoroughly entertained during the entire video. National Geographics needs you on their team!
Shoutout to that dinosaur for standing so still (and also coming out of extinction) But for real, that is a phenomenal piece and EXCELLENT craftsmanship!
These videos are so relaxing ❤️ I love watching everything come together
this is incredibly cool, and generally a fantastic video. I absolutely love the finished model and it makes me even more eager to get around to sculpting and painting and all that
What a piece of art. And probably the most scientifically accurate dinosaur model out there.
this is genuinely so inspirational in both an artistic and lifestyle sense, i love every aspect of this process and will certainly have to make something likewise to this in the future
He made it look so easy. But the real process must have took so much sweat and tears
