I got this welding machine from Stahlwerk (Germany). This combination machine has a plasma cutter, MIG, TIG and MMA welder all in one machine! It has 200 Amp for welding options (TIG, MIG, MMA) and 50 Amp on plasma cutter. You can also weld with FLUX core wire. TIG welder has a high frequency arc start. Plasma cutter has 14mm of cutting capacity. This is one of the best multiprocess welding machines I have tried. It is a "must have" tool for your fabrication projects.

  • Awesome : a Master class demo/test, perfect clear pictures, large angle view, detailed angle view, multiple tests, no bla bla and no shitty music. Everything's perfect.     • Any types of gas tank needed for this machine? I don't know anything about welding but is looking to get myself a setup to learn. My goal is to tig weld my own intercooler pipes and doing some simple weld in my garage.

    • @@FiveSeven2JZ You'll certainly need a gas cylinder, or even several of them depending upon the processes you select and the metal type(s) you'll be welding. Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), more commonly known as TIG, which stands for Tungsten Inert Gas welding process, tells you that right in its name, as does MIG, which is Metal Inert Gas welding. Since your goal is to weld intercooler pipes, I presume you'll be welding aluminum. Pure Argon, while not the least expensive shielding gas, is quite suitable for that task, and it will also work well with stainless steel and other metals. Before you spend a fortune on equipment and materials, I highly recommend taking a welding course or two at a community college if there are any near you that offer industrial arts instruction. The courses are often taught by working professionals in the trades. The tuition and lab fee (covers consumables) are money well spent for someone with no welding experience to discover if they have enough interest to want to continue. TIG welding in particular is rarely mastered overnight.

  • I have recently bought the same model, I followed your lead but it would not tighten down properly, there is a small detent on the bracket which matches with the air drain/filter valve housing. I turned the bracket upside down screws showing on top instead of underneath bracket, result in a perfect mate with the bracket and the ability to hold firm without over-tightening the large filter nut. I believe this to be the intended position. I hope it makes sense.

  • For a 220V machine this is the perfect tool for in the tool shed. Obviously for the industry we have the same functions in separate machines operation on 3 phases but really an impressive tool to have for many advanced DIY projects. The addition of the plasma steel cutter is very cool to have! I just checked the price and this is very reasonable compared to Kemppi / Lincoln etc. I think you have greater value for money with this machine when you need a tool that has many angles in the project and not just production jobs. This can also take away a lot of grinding which I personally do not like to do (who does ey) so yes, very interesting tool. Thank you for this video!

    • Ну и что в нём хорошего? Переменки нет - алю не сварить, компрессора встроенного на плазме нет, педали для управления током нет, пульса на листовой материал нет, и прайс ломовой. Восхитительно!

    • @@user-nk1ny7mq8e Собирать солянку в одну кучу адекватные брэнды не спешат. Можно купить хороший компактный тиг с указанными фишками который хорошо решает задачи для тиг сварки, и именно это нужно там где нужна тиг сварка. (если брать брендовое можно глянуть на есаб линейку кэдди) но например UltraTIG-200P AC/DC КЕДР тоже имеет всё. Можно взять недорогой полуавтомат который совсем для других работ и в этих приблудах ненуждается от слова совсем. И можно недорогой плазморез со встроенным компрессором (ну или без) который всёравно не упихать в один корпус с полуавтоматом\тигом, и поэтому городить огород нет смысла. Комбайны впаривают "на лоха" потому что новичкам кажется что аппарат может всё.

"Образное сравнение" человек работает на сто - разбирает ходовую часть авто, всё бросает и идёт готовить другой автомобиль к покраске, рихтует, шпаклюет,.. опять бросает и идёт к следующему автомобилю перебирать двигатель, шеф кричит бросай и иди к другому авто заниматся электрикой и так постоянный круговорот,... Вопрос: будет ли качественный ремонт автомобилей этим человеком?

  • Great! I verified that is not possible to weld alluminun with this model. Do you know if there is any multifunctional model like this one able to addicionaly weld alluminum? (for alluminum it is required AC-DC, but Stahlwerk has a DC model able to weld alluminun using pulse, but I don't know how it works)

    • I bought my Thermal Arc GMS 400 25 years ago, it has all 4 functions and has been working production since the day I bought it and still works perfectly, it automatically finds single or three phase and can be switched from 220/240 or 440/460.
