Yes, he is the best!
I have one mistake . Thank you so much for this test.😢😮😊
@@tammytsang3487 Only one mistake? How is this possible? Have you studied English language a long time?
@@mhz7140 I have been studying English ever since I was a kid in Hong Kong .Also, I have been learning English online amid this pandemic. Thank you!
@@tammytsang3487 Thanks for answer. PS: I have a lot of mistakes.....
You speak English so well and each word pronounced clearly. So great
Glad you think so!
Doesn't sound native though. What's the accent?
He mispronounced the word preposition where the e is pronounced like the e in president, not the long e sound.
Absolutely ❤
What do you mean?
He is taller than his brother, but his brother is more intelligent,. The word than is missing
Missing from where?
that word(than) is the one missing
@@ednarico2910 from where, in what part of the sentence?
I’m a native English speaker, idk why I’m watching this but you have amazing charisma. It’s also cool to see explanations for why we use certain phrasing for things in English. Like it’s stuff I don’t even have to think about as a native speaker and it’s cool to relearn stuff I haven’t thought about since middle school. Keep up the English learning journey everyone! I know you can do it!
Same here but I'm more of a fluent english speaker. It's quite interesting to see how intuitively I know so much without knowing the actual rule on why it is the way it is.
Of course as a native speaker you do not have to think about the proper answer because you do it intuitively. A foreigner always compares everything with the structures of his own language so that the two systems interfere - and therefore makes mistakes sometimes because he transfers structures from his own mother tongue. A German speaking English will always have some problems with word order, an English native speaking German usually has problems with gender and articles within syntactic structures. So what ? Yet I think smaller mistakes do not really matter - the main point is international understanding.
How humble you are, even as a native you recognise you need to bush up what you've learned at school👍😊
Just try to learn a foreign language, and you will see how difficult it is. Have you ever tried to learn Russian ? Explaining Grammar to a foreigner is always different from explaining Grammar to a native speaker. The intuition of the native speaker is always different (easy going) from a foreigner who has to think about rules to avoid mistakes. This is true for every language in the world. Unless you have been brought up bilingually.
Hello muddy, I got confused about your explanation of intermediate (9) and advanced (4).
I'm an Indian.. I'm so happy that I've scored 10/9/6.. you are a great teacher sir.. love from 🇮🇳
I'm definitely at the intermediate level, but not forever. I enriched my vocabulary with this test. Thanks Maddy. You are the best !
You are a good teacher.
Hello, Reacher Maddy. My score was 9/9/5. I will continue working to do better, Thanks
One time I heard sentence which says if a person give your time to you respect them and love them and value them because the time is the most valuable thing that an individual could have. thank you very much for your time and effort and a special thank for you to offer these lessons for free because some students don’t afford to buy online English courses. God bless you!❤❤❤
Thanks so much, Maddy. This is one of the best lessons so far. I learnt a lot. Thank you once again.
Thanks a million for these videos, love the fact that they include all levels and that the level increases progressively ❤

I absolutely 💯 love the "BUT WHY?" part. Very eloquently and explanatory, he makes it so interesting when he explains it. Truly easy to remember his explanations. ❤❤❤
Seeing how non-native speakers learn English is both fascinating and eye-opening. You taught me the process behind things I do instinctually. I have a passion for linguistics and communication, so this helped a lot. Thank you!

Maddy, you are made for teaching English. No doubt you are a great teacher. I have in a practice to try no. of different channels which teaches English but nobody is like you. You are extra ordinary. Your channel is very special. Dhanyavaad
This is the most innovative lesson I've ever watched on KZhead, keep it up.
Im a Filipina and a professional. Frequently, I gauge my grammar and vocabulary to be sure sms does not affect me. I got a perpect score in all levels of your tests. Yet, I appreciate your method of teaching as it refreshed myself with the rules. Congratulations and keep going. You are a great help to many👍👍👍.

You’re super great teacher to explain everything clearly ❤ I don’t need more English teacher rather than you.
Great video! Amazing lesson! It's different from the common English lessons on KZhead! Good job! I really appreciate it!
For a non-native english speaker, i'm pretty happy with my results (8/9/5). Not the best, but can always be improved. Thank you for providing questions and detailed explanations. That was very educational.

Salute you sir. Big help for all those people who cannot afford to enroll to english language center/school to learn.. Many thanks from the bottom of my heart❤️🙏 Godbless you more and continue to spread the love of what your heart desire..
Am really an average English speaker having the scores of 9 , 8 of C1 and C2 questions. Thank you.
The amazing thing is the explanation of every single detail which makes you feel like it's okay if you don't get it right 👍
5. (Rarely does it rain here.) When a sentence begins with a negative adverb or any kind of negation, there is an inversion; like this sentence from " The Merchant of Venice" play: Portia couldn't choose a husband nor could she refuse one. Thank you sir, I'm extremely delighted with your lecture- love it.
I am so impressed with this young man keep up the good work.
I love this channel!!! The way you teach is brilliant 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I'm trying to give my English a brush up these days. This video helps me a lot. Thanks a milion^^

WOW!!! YOU'RE THE BEST ENGLISH TEACHER EVER.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you. You are the best of the best instructors.
I really enjoyed this test, I scored a C1 English level, so I do need to improve my English level. Thanks.
This is really informative and fun to watch.
Nice :-) I gave it to my students who like being challenged and graded... (yes, they exist...). Apropos of question number 9 (in part 1) - the word "than" is missing (which confused some of my students who knew the answer should be "taller than"). In question number 9 (in part 2), choice C makes this question excellent! The phrase "for smoke" is ungrammatical since the indefinite article "a" is missing (that is, "for a smoke"). Keep up the good work!
Question no 9. I think there needs to be ‘Than’.
Amen. Stopped watching at this point.
Your explanations are very pleasant and clear. I also enjoy the humor in your clips. I am a teacher myself. You're really good!🙂

Hear are my scores: Beginner 9/10 quite easy Intermediate 7/10 some are tricky for me but still want to challenge myself, so I continue the test. I really enjoyed your video ! English is my second language ! I had 2 years of English in school a long time ago. Have lived in the US off and on for quite a few years. Sometimes I have trouble understanding a complicated question, English sentence structure does not make sense to me. Still learning ! I did very well in your test, Have trouble with simple things like whose and who's. I noticed in my circle of friends, some people do not know where to use : to or too ! I do understand that. Thank you for the video, I did learn from it !
That was so easy, I got every single one correct , I’m 70, and English was always my best subject. Thank you, I enjoyed that .
Any native English speaker who graduated 8th grade should have easily received a perfect score. Unfortunately, not the case.

Hey, I was just going through this video for fun. First of all I should say, great content and really well explained! So, I liked your video as well. With that said, I noticed a small grammatical mistake @9:42 in Beginner A2 Question 9. You did explain it later about "THAN" However, I believe the beginners would feel much easier if you had the sentence structured as "He is taller THAN his brother, but his brother is more intelligent." Just wanted to let you know so that beginners wouldn't be confused. Cheers!
