Fun fact: the glass cage idea was made by scientists, the cage wouldnt be glass though. The cage would be super big, bigger than the solar system. They can harvest energy from the blackhole by sending whatever it is inside (i forgot it) they need to release the energy though and itll be unstable and get destroyed if they dont

The "energy beam" being shot into the black hole uses a technique called "radiant scattering" where in exchange for some of its mass, it gets speed. Just watch kurgezat in a nutshell for a more in-depth explanation.
Another thing realistic mentioned in the video is how everything got sucked in like a spiral. That is the accretion disk, which is a ring of mass circling the black hole at high speeds and temperatures. Due to this insane energy it glows, but sadly it didn’t in this video. 😢 I would love to see the black hole with an accretion disk.
