This might just be my experience but me and my dad started Titanfall 2 a few months back and honestly it really wasn’t that hard to get the handle of playing sure it took us both a few matches but we were able to enjoy and get pretty good at it pretty quick. I know not everyone has the same experience but for me at least I cannot understand the whole “it is too difficult for new people” thing.

I agree. It takes a minute or two, but I can understand how jumping into PvP right off the bat would make it a bit difficult for people. Personally, if I had this problem, I would play the campaign first, then work on playing Frontier Defense for a long while, until you can play normal/hard mode and do fairly well, then at that point, I would try multiplayer. In fact, that's actually what I did, mainly because I didn't like any PvP at the time, but after getting into Titanfall 2's PvP, I got the hang of it fairly quick. TL;DR, it may take a bit for some people to get used to the PvP, but that is NOT a good enough reason (In my opinion, anyway) to say in any way that we shouldn't get Titanfall 3, or that it would not be best to get a Titanfall 3.

It’s more than just adding the mechanics into Apex, I want to be a Pilot. I want to be that insane soldier with insane movement and play with Titans on top of that. I wouldn’t mind if that kind of gameplay was added to apex as a side mode, but I’m just not interested in BRs after they were so overused

I’ve seen a lot of these videos come across my feed recently… if anyone has been keeping up with current games. I as well have been playing a lot of helldivers 2 recently. They dropped the Exosuits just a few days ago at this moment. All I can think about is my combined 6 years of time as a pilot. My friend and I love Titanfall. Both played 1 and 2, and intend to make our own pilots one day (we’re prop markers and cosplayers). Even though I love helldivers, nothing will replace the joy I got from bunny hopping on controller through the map with my Kraber. My Gen 50 Scorch and I melting the opposition right before they can go nuclear…I get it’s a business…I get it’s a company… I get it’s all about the money. But any Pilot out here will tell you that, integrating Titanfall into Apex just won’t do it. Will it satisfy the itch for maybe 6 months? I’d say so. But in the end it will shrivel into irrelevancy just the same. In my opinion the BR scene has ruined the gaming experience. The competitive scene, more specifically. Ironically, most of us want more than anything just a fun experience lol. I got Apex when it launched, as soon as I heard it was in the same universe. I kept up with it for maybe a year, lore in all. But if the argument is that the skill ceiling is too high? I have never been more pushed in a game in my life, aside from Soulsbourne titles. I don’t play Dark Souls or Elden ring to relax, I do it to be competitive against bosses that are meant to drive me insane. Titanfall was a game I could fly around the map and turn my brain off, getting an easy 20 kills with a kraber. Apex in every moment is a like a sports event. Constantly calculating plays, playing on the psychology of other players, and as well maneuvering in a way where you are the last one standing. It has created a culture of people who consistently play in a way that you get yelled at if you’re just trying to have a good time. You HAVE to be in it to win it. The common arguments for “complaining” about Apex is either “you’re bad” or… yknow that’s pretty much it lol. As a former apex predator… I gained no satisfaction from such things. I didn’t find it fun, it wasn’t engaging, and certainly didn’t allow me to have the great times I had with my friends. In Titanfall, I could lose and have the most enjoyable experience. I could fly around the map, not even realizing we were losing just from how much fun we were all having. Love/hate relationship with this game is absolutely an amazing statement to make. I believe most people love the lore and how the game can feel sometimes, plus the payoff of wins. But hate the culture and that it can feel like a waste of time once you get an heirloom or something like that. But to me that just starts to sound insane and like a gambling addiction. I digress… in the end it is a business. But since when did giving customers what they aren’t asking for make you more money? The answer to that will probably make me even more disgusted with the state of things…

Helldivers 2 proves that solid multiplayer games are still possible. The best option for EA is to hire a bunch of Titanfall fans to help design and promote the game, include their community in the development process and LEAVE MICROTRANSACTIONS OUT OF THE GAME. A 40$ price tag is reasonable, like for Helldivers. If you wanted more, cosmetic options could be a fun way to make more money while not ruining the game. No locked Titans, no DLCs, nothing of the sort. Making the multiplayer free could also inspire more people to join, and pay for the full campaign.

If Titanfall 3 does ever come, they’ll probably try to appeal to a wider. That means increasing the TTK, making it easier to kill/avoid titans, lowering the weapon recoil and/or lowering the point difference between killing grunts and pilots, none of which are changes I’m a fan of, but I’ll accept them. However, they better not nerf the movement like they did in Apex. I also think specifically for Pilots v Pilots and Live Fire Rounds, they should make it so you don’t have any shields so that way the veteran players still have a mode that appeals to them.

I dont have many hours in apex. 200 hours (probably about the same if not more than my titanfal hours) But every time I play apex it feels like titanfal without wallrunning and double jump. Just feels naked. Running in apex and titanfal as always felt slugish and weird to me. But as soon as you start doing the titanfal movement it feels so good. I just dont think I can like apex. I know theres tones of techs you can do in apex but I dont find it fun to learn quirky movement thats not intended.

Apex is not fun (IMO) titan fall had fantastic movement, gun play, and Titans. The issues was the rise of hackers, respawns failure to adapt and continue the game, actual skill base match making, and new players not taking the time to actually learn. Over all titan fall 1 & 2 fell apart just because as gamers no one wants to lose, people want things to be easier to achieve and there lack to enjoy what was there in the first place. Sad to see such a Fantastic game die for fair or truthful reason.

There is actually a reason why apex doesnt like wall running they tried it twice and both times proved useless i agree it could save the game but proof of it not worth apex in the rev army mode wall running was added and theres the problem the maps in apex dont sup wall running in fact they will need to make central city in apex for wall running to work I do like the fact of wall running in apex but because of apex maps it wont work how alot of people hope thats why apex actually has its own movement Last thing i can point out is i personally think titanfall 3 will release once apex dies as a second and final chance This is one if not one of the main reasons wall running wont work

I've been saying for soo long that they need to just implement it like COD have done with warzone. Apex being the BR of TF and having the campaign and normal style multiplayer as the main TF game. just add apex into the TF menu and TF into the apex menu. it blows my mind that TF3 still hasn't been made. However, we’ve created a culture in gaming where if you’re not good at it, you may as well uninstall. And that’s not a recent thing either. “Womp womp get fucking good” is probably the reason they dropped the game in the first place. Rightfully frustrating, but if we talk to people like that. We can’t help but accept we were part of the problem.

Too bad EA are as stupid as they are greedy... they were stupid enough to stop live service for Battlefront 2 right when it gained 19 MILLION players from the Epic Store when they made the game free, and they were stupid enough to cancel Respawn's Mandolorian bounty hunter game recently when it was well along.
I guess they're simply don't like number 3, reminds me of someone...

It’s more than just adding the mechanics into Apex, I want to be a Pilot. I want to be that insane soldier with insane movement and play with Titans on top of that. I wouldn’t mind if that kind of gameplay was added to apex as a side mode, but I’m just not interested in BRs after they were so overused
I agree, I posted a comment saying similar. It’s just an absolute shame that the game we all loved is basically getting picked apart like bread and being fed to players like we’re all hungry ducks. The gaming scene competitively from BR’s has definitely become overrated.
Titanfall is only Titanfall because of the skill ceiling, maybe they should lock online gameplay until the campaign and Frontier defense are played. (If they ever make Titanfall 3)
i don't think they should lock it the most i would just have it be recommended many Titanfall 2 veterans might want to hop straight into multiplayer or just not Frontier at least

I’ve seen a lot of these videos come across my feed recently… if anyone has been keeping up with current games. I as well have been playing a lot of helldivers 2 recently. They dropped the Exosuits just a few days ago at this moment. All I can think about is my combined 6 years of time as a pilot. My friend and I love Titanfall. Both played 1 and 2, and intend to make our own pilots one day (we’re prop markers and cosplayers). Even though I love helldivers, nothing will replace the joy I got from bunny hopping on controller through the map with my Kraber. My Gen 50 Scorch and I melting the opposition right before they can go nuclear…I get it’s a business…I get it’s a company… I get it’s all about the money. But any Pilot out here will tell you that, integrating Titanfall into Apex just won’t do it. Will it satisfy the itch for maybe 6 months? I’d say so. But in the end it will shrivel into irrelevancy just the same. In my opinion the BR scene has ruined the gaming experience. The competitive scene, more specifically. Ironically, most of us want more than anything just a fun experience lol. I got Apex when it launched, as soon as I heard it was in the same universe. I kept up with it for maybe a year, lore in all. But if the argument is that the skill ceiling is too high? I have never been more pushed in a game in my life, aside from Soulsbourne titles. I don’t play Dark Souls or Elden ring to relax, I do it to be competitive against bosses that are meant to drive me insane. Titanfall was a game I could fly around the map and turn my brain off, getting an easy 20 kills with a kraber. Apex in every moment is a like a sports event. Constantly calculating plays, playing on the psychology of other players, and as well maneuvering in a way where you are the last one standing. It has created a culture of people who consistently play in a way that you get yelled at if you’re just trying to have a good time. You HAVE to be in it to win it. The common arguments for “complaining” about Apex is either “you’re bad” or… yknow that’s pretty much it lol. As a former apex predator… I gained no satisfaction from such things. I didn’t find it fun, it wasn’t engaging, and certainly didn’t allow me to have the great times I had with my friends. In Titanfall, I could lose and have the most enjoyable experience. I could fly around the map, not even realizing we were losing just from how much fun we were all having. Love/hate relationship with this game is absolutely an amazing statement to make. I believe most people love the lore and how the game can feel sometimes, plus the payoff of wins. But hate the culture and that it can feel like a waste of time once you get an heirloom or something like that. But to me that just starts to sound insane and like a gambling addiction. I digress… in the end it is a business. But since when did giving customers what they aren’t asking for make you more money? The answer to that will probably make me even more disgusted with the state of things…
Honestly, I think it would be best if Respawn just tells us, Yes, we're working on a third installment, or No, we never even had plans to make a third game. IT'S A YES OR NO QUESTION, ARE WE GETTING A THIRD GAME OR NOT? For fucks sakes transparency would be nice
I always thought that Titanfall 2 had easier movement than Apex but for new players..I can see Apex being easier to approach and learn.

Helldivers 2 proves that solid multiplayer games are still possible. The best option for EA is to hire a bunch of Titanfall fans to help design and promote the game, include their community in the development process and LEAVE MICROTRANSACTIONS OUT OF THE GAME. A 40$ price tag is reasonable, like for Helldivers. If you wanted more, cosmetic options could be a fun way to make more money while not ruining the game. No locked Titans, no DLCs, nothing of the sort. Making the multiplayer free could also inspire more people to join, and pay for the full campaign.
With the time gauntlet being revealed I think we will see Jack cooper in at the very least a lore trailer and from voice lines and scrapped content from the blisk campaign game we know BT’s parts were recovered and infact rampart is working on rebuilding BT because blisk asked her for a favor

Ironically Apex was empty when I tried to get into a game last week, and Titanfall was a 30 second queue.
If Titanfall 3 does ever come, they’ll probably try to appeal to a wider. That means increasing the TTK, making it easier to kill/avoid titans, lowering the weapon recoil and/or lowering the point difference between killing grunts and pilots, none of which are changes I’m a fan of, but I’ll accept them. However, they better not nerf the movement like they did in Apex. I also think specifically for Pilots v Pilots and Live Fire Rounds, they should make it so you don’t have any shields so that way the veteran players still have a mode that appeals to them.

I dont have many hours in apex. 200 hours (probably about the same if not more than my titanfal hours) But every time I play apex it feels like titanfal without wallrunning and double jump. Just feels naked. Running in apex and titanfal as always felt slugish and weird to me. But as soon as you start doing the titanfal movement it feels so good. I just dont think I can like apex. I know theres tones of techs you can do in apex but I dont find it fun to learn quirky movement thats not intended.

Apex is not fun (IMO) titan fall had fantastic movement, gun play, and Titans. The issues was the rise of hackers, respawns failure to adapt and continue the game, actual skill base match making, and new players not taking the time to actually learn. Over all titan fall 1 & 2 fell apart just because as gamers no one wants to lose, people want things to be easier to achieve and there lack to enjoy what was there in the first place. Sad to see such a Fantastic game die for fair or truthful reason.
I think this skill gap issue could be fixed if they added ranked in titanfall so that causul players can play without getting ragdoll around by veterans.

There is actually a reason why apex doesnt like wall running they tried it twice and both times proved useless i agree it could save the game but proof of it not worth apex in the rev army mode wall running was added and theres the problem the maps in apex dont sup wall running in fact they will need to make central city in apex for wall running to work I do like the fact of wall running in apex but because of apex maps it wont work how alot of people hope thats why apex actually has its own movement Last thing i can point out is i personally think titanfall 3 will release once apex dies as a second and final chance This is one if not one of the main reasons wall running wont work

I've been saying for soo long that they need to just implement it like COD have done with warzone. Apex being the BR of TF and having the campaign and normal style multiplayer as the main TF game. just add apex into the TF menu and TF into the apex menu. it blows my mind that TF3 still hasn't been made. TF2 was so ahead of its time for a FPS game it just got given the most ridiculous launch. who decided to release it in between the 2 top AAA FPS games lol

However, we’ve created a culture in gaming where if you’re not good at it, you may as well uninstall. And that’s not a recent thing either. “Womp womp get fucking good” is probably the reason they dropped the game in the first place. Rightfully frustrating, but if we talk to people like that. We can’t help but accept we were part of the problem.
