I cannot reconcile how one who is made in the image of God can get into a cage to beat up another person who is also made in the image of God into a pulp and call that a sport? Does anyone agree at all?

Daniel Wong Although you feel you cannot reconcile this person's choice of sport, as Believers we have to trust by faith the relationship is one between this sportsman and God, as to what is going on at the present stage in that sportman's walk. All things are permissible but not all things are the will of God which we know as Believers in Christ's teachings - some things we do not understand I see as God using individuals to speak through unique personas who will/are to be used to capture people's attention: the lost to seek God Almighty. My guess is that Michael was already a MMA member before he came to faith in God, which is now being used in a radical way but not exploitively, to draw others to the foot of the Cross. Let's lift our brother in prayer to always keep his eyes on the Lord, to do God's will according to what he has planned for him - may the Holy Spirit always lead and convict him in Jesus' name amen.

The like is for the issue of rebuking +Wayne Clark - those that know you closely, or elders within your church can rebuke you in love, but to be judgemental without the facts is not appropriate. I am guessing I read the same Bible as you. Those who read the Word will interpret things in many ways - revelation of God's word also comes to Believers at different times, to some they will never come to an understanding of particular topics - God (not you or me) will judge Believers on account of what they know. I did not say whether or not I agree with the sportsman Chandler about his chosen vocation, I believe God knows his heart and is dealing with him: restoration, healing, love etc. I will not tear him down with opinionated comments against him. Praying for our brothers and sisters whom are in Christ is the best way to help a person, and if they are willing in their heart to change, then God will sort that out. We can agree to disagree. sorry. but were in the bible does it say its ok to hurt one another. i thought violence. was not ok. ?? we shouldn't fight. especially for sport. that bloody mess looks more like close to death. That is not Of LOVE to pound on each other. please forgive me if im offending. Maybe we could only have boxing for a war. that way. only two people get hurt not Thousands. and billions of dollars..
