@@ragefrost07 kind of an ambiguos question if you mean how to connect wagons then if they disassembled and close enough, when you assemble it will connect
if you lack trapdoor variations, you could use walls instead! they're still not the full width of an entire block, but will give more breathing space/customization options, i feel like. theres some drawbacks ofc, but it's a neat idea.

You can. They just need to NOT be glued into the locomotive. Create will count them as separate cars

Pro tip: If you want to attempt to build a locomotive based on a real life prototype, treat the bogies as separate train wagons, since you can only connect two bogies to one carriage, for example, a 4-6-4 config requires 5 bogies, the two front bogies are connected to nothing but each other, the rear most bogie is connected to nothing but two blocks, the locomotive body would be connected to the two middle-most bogies Also, get Dave’s Building and Framed Blocks, gives you loads more variety for shapes and colours
I know about these decorative blocks. I don’t like them. I am not aiming for realistic look. I want trains in Minecraft to look like Minecraft Trains ☺️

Like the Cars that have those Greenhouse style roof in the center of the Car that has an on-board Restaurant. You might be able to use Walls and Any glass that you'd want to build with to make the Greenhouse style roof.

Newer Create version has Frames that can take the look of any block so we actually have a lot of options now.

this is awesome, too bad i cant make anything like this and the best i could do is copy it :p my friends helped me make a cool train in our server at least, going to replicate it once i remake the server (it got boring and everyone quit)
That’s why I made this tutorial. Good artists copy, great ones steal. Running your own server and keeping it interesting is not an easy task
@@darkModeYT the last server had more content, but the mods were unbalanced so people quit and voted for a vanilla+ server, which then they got bored of due to lack of content. this time im planning on putting in a ton of content so hopefully even if there are op things, there will be multiple so whatever you decide to do youll be strong eventually
@@Lucian4694 op things could be removed or tweaked in config files or from datapacks. I usually do that when we find something is too op
@@darkModeYT i tried but one of the things was unable to be modified and everyone that used it begged to keep it since it looked cool and said they wouldnt actually use it, then they one shotted a boss. also one of the mods was just op in general at endgame, it was ars nouveau. basically: lingering effect zone, sensitive (so itll target blocks), lightning. it killed everyone including the other op people in a few seconds

@@wistygg9268 Adobe Premiere. But it doesn’t really matter. I can do my videos in any editing software. I chose Premiere just because it has hardware acceleration and I have RTX 3060. I don’t use any plugins. Just text and some basic animations.

Does this mod allow you to add more than one train control for a train set? Example you can have controls at the front and the end of the trains like a cab car end?
Yes of course! I think there is no limit to train controls
the only thing you should add to this is a kitchen car, that way passengers can have refreshments

i agree, unless done right, but in a technical sense, the trapdoors, doors and ladders take an additional outside of the 3 wide base, making it technically 5 wide

Hi! What shaders are you using? Because a have lags with create trains and any shaders, I don't know why. When I don't look on the trains, FPS is good.
Complimentary Shaders. Also try disabling realtime shadows. It will still look good and fps should not drop. Make sure you use indium as well

I would suggest using copycat panels for the walls instead of trap doors, because with copycat panels you can use any block you want, and you can't flip it open and ruin the appearance.
how do i move the passenger cart to make the other one disassemble to glue them all to eachother as 1 locomotive...do i just put another controller in the passenger for the time being until i move it enough for the front to get where is needs to orrr?
There are different ways, you can add controls and move, you can move the station, and you can also more the car with some piston when it’s glued but not assembled

I love the desing of the passenger's carriges but i don't like the idea of using trapdoors as wall-like material on the outside; don't get me wrong, i understand they are excellent to make thin walls and it looks really nice but i don't trust the idea of using them because it gaves me the feeling someone would open all the trapdoor on the train if someone makes this on a server. If i could express my opinnion (no pun intended), i'll would try use a mod than allows me to place vertical slabs on the outside. For the insides, i can't think anything which could help. Overall, it's a great video and perfect inspiration for anyone who wants to make an entire train station system for their worlds.
I know the trapdoor can give such feeling. But when I filmed this video there was no decoration blocks like Creat 5.2. Now we have decorative wall and they are the way to go
I just got into the Create mod, and I have to question if to attach the train together, did you rebuild the locomotive part or is there some kind of coupling system I did not know about but would make my shunting dreams come true?
I already built the locomotive. Once I made the car I drove the locomotive back, disassembled it and assembled again while next to the car. Train Station will assemble every car with bogey on the rail in radius of 128 blocks

What I have seen in other videos involves: - disassembly of train - using crane with Sticker to pick up car (still glued together) - use crane to move from one track to another track - reassemble train without the removed car Is there an easier way? (I vote for Create 0.6 to include redstone-activated knuckle couplers) EDIT: I’m thinking of *your* Cargo Train video. Will moving whole cars work like that? (Also, you earn a subscribe-great Create Mod videos)

which version do you need for the trains i have version 1.16.5 and i see no train stuff
It’s not Minecraft version that needs to be specific. You need Create mod version 0.5 or higher to have trains
i love the train but theirs one thing when i tied to build this i dont know witch way the train cart was facing also when you switch the screen to a different place its to fast idk where you are when you place the blocks

It’s not about shaders. I play on Fabric of Iris Shader instead of Optifine. Fabric give best compatibility and performance. Shaders are Complimentary Reimagined

thats really neat, the only problem is that trapddors are so expensive! the recipe only gives you 2 of them. I think they should make it give more, or even add a woodcutter of sorts
Setup an auto tree farm it's super easy
@TomatoSoupter given how much wood can an easy tree farm produce it's unnecessary. But I agree that 6 planks cound give 24 trapdoors considering their size

Glad that you liked it ❤️ Well you can disassemble and then destroy blocks. When it’s assembled you can probably kill the create:train entity with a command /kill

So, if things like doors and other tile entities and blocks work for these trains I'm very curious as to if chisel and bits would work for these trains. If so that would allow for some super detailed trains and it'd be really awesome. I'll have to try it out for myself after work.

@@darkModeYT Well, I've tried but (and I don't know what the reason is) apparently chisel & bits does NOT work with create trains. Like technically C&B blocks *should* work but I'm not a mod developer so I can't say for certain what the limiting factor is. What I do know is that when you place a chiseled block within a glued area it DOES show the glueing effect but the chisel blocks just don't actually stick to the contraption. It's a shame but (if it wouldn't be too much work) maybe a suggestion for the mod author to add C&B support?
if chisel and bits worked for trains I swear I'd have no life, the amount of detail... maybe Little tiles will work when CreativeMD will release the alpha soon, I'd much prefer this over c&b anyway
