Very rusty antique lock restoration. This old rusty padlock was found in the woods. It was closed for 300 years. Padlock of the 17th-18th century. It was lucky that the lock had a key. I decided to restore an old rusty padlock. I removed the rust and cleaned the parts. I hope you liked my restoration.

Wow. 300 years old. You are the Mozart of restorations.
Not 300. 200 years.
that is cool as hell. I would definitely use this on my gym locker
These are the real restoration videos that we should be seeing.. Because you see the rust, the deformity, the beating, and the mileage of the object being restored. Not to mention, the amount of care and effort to at least make the item usable and give it some life. Which shows a lot of the dents and bruises left behind on the object.
This is fantastic! Who could have known? It sure takes a lot of brushing to get all that rust off. I'm sure glad you have the right tools and know what you're doing. 300 years, oh, my. You are truly a fabulous craftsman and I'm so happy to see something you've brought back from our history. 👏❤😁
This is a “conservation,” not a restoration. But you did a brilliant job!
Too far gone for a restoration. But it is amazing that it still works.
Actually it's both, he restored it enough to make it function again, but just stuck to getting rid of the rust to conserve it and prevent further decay.
@@deniseboldea1624 Good point. 👍🏼
I see no con within anything that keeps people happy, the environment stable and famalies thriving without dangers of old! Loving life and awesome work as usual! 2022 loving life
Fez um chaveiro.... Decepcionante...
I've never seen a lock like this. The locksmith wo designed it was remarkable.
Parabéns a vc restaurador ! Invejo a sua profissão !😂
Its allways interesting, what a locksmith, long time ago, was able to produce with his ancient tools. Now, you braught it back to live. Great work
Well done. I'm surprised that mechanism still worked! Kudos!
Sweet 👍🏻 👍🏻
An amazing restoration. Such very careful and sensitive work. Bravo to the craftsman!
Beautiful lock and a great restoration, I'm glad you kept it's looks and restored it's functionality. Well done!
Nice job. Love the lock💙
Thanks!
It's amazing that items like this were made using primitive tools in the 16 and 1700s. And to be honest the locking mechanism seems pretty legit. If they had something similar to this now it might prevent some theft because it's not like a tumbler padlock that can be open with some clever tools. Maybe Master Lock should look at the late Renaissance early colonial era to revamp their locks. Great job of renewing this beautiful piece of History.
Thank you!
Fantastic restoration on this old rusty lock and key. Your talent blows my mind. Everything that you restore is perfect. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your next one. Stay safe.
If I found something like that I would have binned it. And then there's you. Restore it beautifully, making it functional again. Well done to you ❣️🙏
Brilliant ? Very much so , but . . . Professional Yes ! Love your work
Wow!! You actually got that lock to work again. Amazing.
That was amazing! Great job!
Another fantastic claim from ReXstorer!
Super, very interesting padlock 🎉 .
nice piece of history, i really like that you didn't try to change it at all. that key is amazing!
I love the electrolysis process, it's SO fascinating!
Very cool. Belongs in museum now.
Waw......You outdid yourself today....thanks v much.
Fantastic.
I believed the mey wasnt gonna come off instead it was surprising to see it actually came out
Nice video.I wanted to see the parts inside this lock but maybe it was difficult to open because there was no option to open it
Super tare. 👍👍👍👍
Astounding job sir. I would not have believed it had I not seen it with my own two eyes.
I am really impressed by the ways you create this video! It’s extremely exciting!
Very nice Kishor bhai. We love your videos.
Very cool.😊
one of the most satisfying videos I've seen!
Can’t forget the rust pile👏🏽
Amazing Restoration 👍🏻👍🏾👍
thats really interesting on how the padlock works especially considering the key acts like a screw essentially
Good work.
Send this to the Lockpicking Lawyer and see if he can open it without the key!
I clicked on the video just to see how many coments before I saw a LPL comment. Bravo you 👏
Possibly 300 years old just chilling in the woods. How freaking cool is that? You should find someone who can give you a possible history. I appreciate all the hard work to make it useful again.
Excellent work! You're lucky the lock was found together with the key. I restored a similar one lately but in my case, I had to desolder it and take it apart :)
Bravo Amigo!!! You have stone head for job. Sorye for my English. Hello from Serbia 🇷🇸
Beautiful job
Thanks!
Wow! The torx screwhead in the bottom is ‘way ahead of it’s time !!!

I think I've become kind of obsessed with your vids now🌚
Parabéns pelo seu talentoso trabalho
Awesome job.
Thanks for experience
Wow , it is amazing the engineering we had back then . We have gone backward in both style and function.
Amazing that you could get it to work given the extent of the rust.
Super excellent
Um ótimo trabalho. 👏👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
*Excelente.
Well done!
Nice restoration 🙂
Good job friend well done
Wonderful!!
Highly appreciated 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍
I like how you turn the lock to a candle for a bit.😅
Beautiful
Amazing
Bravo!
Very interesting to see the tool come back to life!!! Great work, thank you)) how old is this lock?
"Imagine how much history this padlock has seen."

Very nice job. I enjoy watching you videos. Where did you get the lock?
Thank you very much! Found with a metal detector
Remarkable 🙂
buy this man a sandblaster!
Excellent ▪very clean and straight forward, smooth pans and transitions, simple and easy to follow along▪ no music☑ no crazy camera angels☑ no fancy editing☑no bells and whistles☑ no cutesy pop ups☑ no furry four legged animals awaiting its queue 10/10
I have this type of lock in very good original condition
At 3:56 a Frank Zappa song came to mind - "Let's Make the Water Turn Black"
Really good work! Where do you find these interesting rusty items?
I'm beginning to wonder that myself. Far too much stuff in the woods.
Metal detecting is a popular hobby and people have been losing metal items for thousands of years. The Bronze Age is a historic period, lasting approximately from 3300 BC to 1200 BC,then the iron age starts. So over 5,000 years of dropped/lost items to find in the world.
What does the rust converter, convert the rust to? Serious question here!
Are you using boiled linseed oil ? Great job thank you🇨🇦
Thanks! Yes, I use linseed oil
Esse cadesfo deve ser muito antigo Maravilhoso
Wow. The object and the whole proses.Fascinating right ? ⭐🌞
👍🏻🔥
I do wonder if this padlock is more secure than MasterLock 🤣 send it to LockPickingLawyer for an evaluation 😄
I have upgraded version of this lock and that's in a good condition
It’s perfect

What kind of sand did you use to clean the chain? Thanks in advance
