*Who are we?*
We’re Victoria & Craig! In 2021, we decided that we needed to make life a little more exciting, so we bought a used fifth wheel and completely renovated it. Then, we sold our house in Tallahassee, Florida and hit the road full time in our RV! We’ve traveled all around the United States (and Baja Mexico!) and fell in love with boondocking in our RV at the most beautiful places. In 2023, we upgraded to a brand new Brinkley RV Model Z 3100. You’ll always find us on some kind of outdoor adventure, whether it’s hiking the Grand Canyon, rock climbing in Yosemite or surfing the shores of Baja Mexico. Subscribe to our channel (bit.ly/3ssOjGT) to follow along on our full time RV living adventures!

  • We passed this border in January 2023 with our ford van! They inspected ours for at least 20-25 minutes while we were sitting there! I loved shopping for groceries in Mexico 🇲🇽. Thanks for the footage , it reminds me of our nice road trip in Baja

  • We just came across your videos with this one being our first viewing, very enjoyable. My wife and I are in our 60s and did camping when we were younger, I don’t really have any videos of our past camping events sadly, I wish I did. The videos we do have, my wife and I of 40 years truly enjoy looking back on them. You two are going to have a wonderful loving time reviewing these videos in your retirement age or even anytime. Even your stressful times you still seemed to enjoy yourselfs. later in life you will be feeling the same as we do watching them I’m sure. You two make a wonderful couple and in rough times I hope you look back on these videos like this for reconnecting. We wish you too the very best in your life. God bless.

  • What a cool video! Most KZheadrs stress over staying under a certain length but you guys proved it’s more about keeping it interesting and not repetitive. I watched the whole 3 hours straight through and you guys did such a good job of keeping things moving and providing just the right amount of details as your journey moved along! For the record, that slide topper deserved it! I hate those things. Great job!

In the late 90's. Mexico is always a blast! Enjoyed your video. Appreciated your outlook on the Baja. You come across as a refreshing, wholesome young couple. Thank you for the video. Sonja

    • It was actually the first time for both of us getting to explore Mexico and we spent nearly 3 months down there and thoroughly loved it. In fact, every time someone asks us our favorite place we've visited, Craig says Baja. Thanks for watching and if you do keep watching more of our videos, you'll find that we aren't about that "only share the highlights" life on KZhead. We share our challenges as well, and we try to share them as they happen, which means that sometimes we are a little stressed, and you get our very real and in the moment reactions, like reacting to having to back out a huge RV into oncoming traffic because we turned down the wrong road lol. Life isn't rainbows and butterflies all the time, but if we weren't both having fun with this lifestyle and all our crazy adventures, we sure as heck wouldn't still be doing it!

  • Great video, love the longer length. When you were in Cerritos did you see the local dog rescue facility? Two very popular Canadian YTers go to Baja a lot and earlier this year they met a local who wanted to open a rescue to take in all of the local strays. The couple, avid dog lovers, said 'let's do it' and they helped him build the facility (Cerritos Beach Dogs) along with a not-for-profit cafe. Two of the first group of puppies that were taken in/vetted etc were adopted by families in Canada. Snakes, so now we know why it was a private beach with no one else around. Pickleball is becoming very popular in Canada too.

You handled it much better than I think I would have. Oh and just a little advise I think I would e looking for a better place to store that spare tire rather than on the back of the trailer hanging low as it is. Overall fun adventures Id say. I think yall are cute and I think you both handle challenges very well. You seem to try to be more optimistic so your husband doesn't stress as much...him saying "this sucks" every now and then is hilarious 🤣 and makes it even better when I see him smiling other times in the video. Today we are leaving this RV park in Groesbeck, Tx and heading south of Huston. Hopefully it’s a bit warmer. You didn’t respond to my last comment on last week’s video and I can’t blame you, it was pretty gross. I was just wondering if this had happened to anyone else or am I the only idiot out there that didn’t remove the cap lol. Thnx for sharing again, looking forward to meeting you next month in Tampa. Keep the videos coming, we LOVE LOVE LOVE them, you guys are awesome! Enjoy your holiday in North Carolina and stay safe!! 🤍 Freddy and Bryan.

  • Releasing air from the tires doesn’t create a high flotation tire. After years of driving on soft sand beaches I can tell you I pulled out so many vehicles who deflated their tires and wound up still stuck with low air pressure which then had to be reinflated before driving. You need bigger tires or to stay off soft sand.😊 Good idea to get roll up emergency traction mats also to go with your traction boards.

  • Out at burning Man, I have had plenty of problems with wind and my slide topper. My solution has been to put big heavy objects on top of it. Sometimes I would put a tarp on it first to protect it sometimes I would have a 6 x 6 wrong piece of wood that worked the best. Other times I had to use totes full of heavy items like firewood, but it keeps it from flapping up and down. The worst is the dust storms out there blowing in the slide seals. Good luck!! 🍀

    • Yes, this is all from our time in Baja last winter! We wanted to compile it all into one “movie” because we know a lot of people are thinking of doing Baja this winter, but we will be back to releasing new vlogs next Sunday! (That aren’t almost 3 hours long 😆)

  • OK, a little late on the uptake, but WoW, y'all are so funny in your own way and bring us into your RV life and/or journey. Thanks! Very well done. I almost feel like I have just visited Mexico.😂 I'm dreaming of getting a b+ van type and going for it. I really appreciate y'all sharing the trials, challenges, and struggles that come up. That's kinda what kept me watching. BTW, on a Totally unrelated note,.. do both of y'all have green eyes?🤔

  • Hello just started watching your channel so far big fan!!! Fun fact about Mexico’s currency. The reason the bills are different sizes and colors is to help people who are blind or hard of sight to be able to distinguish the different amounts, they also have ridges near the value that serves as a form of braille.

    • Oh nice, thank you for that info and also, I love that!! I bet it makes it much easier to differentiate the currency.

  • Bang for the buck its more cost effective to live out of a car and decent hotel rooms .you can pull a car in any lot, garage, wherever. RVing isnt cheap by a long shot. If you quit, selling an RV to try and recoup your investment can be a serious challenge.Youd be better off in an older station wagon thats in great shape if you can find one (which can be done).Break downs on the road in RVs are expensive and you have to find someone who will service it.
