Something like this also happens in the game "Insurgency Sandstorm" with every single weapon when reloading the magazine, it also weirdly duplicates and both fell down

@@myusername3689 Only thing is no matter how many times you shoot as long as it's not an empty reload, it always loads in 3 bullets.

I thought it was the case with Post Scriptum at first, looked a bit closer and realized that they only shove a couple bullets in and leave the rest in the clip. Interesting reload.
That or pushing the stripper in with the bullets

Yeah, but it should be loading four rounds from it. It shows the fourth round being ejected when the bolt opens, but there's two rounds left in the clip when they pull it out.

@Jamie Ballard In CoD 2, the reload for the Kar 98k shows the strip clip being removed when putting in the rounds, while other bolt action reloads show the whole thing put in the the gun like a en bloc clip

Actually bf5 is the one hv the most realistic reload, when 1 round is chambered but u want to reload, soldiers would use their fingers to prevent the chambered from fly out like normal fired round, unlike games where chambered round magically teleport from the chamber back to other unloaded rounds
RO2 doesn't snap the bullet, shot 3, it reloads 4 instead of 3. But I still think BFV has the best sound design.
Same thing on Post Scriptum, but leaves the two rounds on the stripper clip

I think bfv’s reload animations has to be my favourite, when he went to reload the first time you can see he uses his fingers to hold the remaining bullet inside just before loading the rest. And when he does a clip reload that little thumb flick to get rid of the rest of the clip was satisfying, nice features lol (Edit: or pushing the remaining bullet down to load more)
Post Scriptum is actually more better tho

this is hard to decide, but Day of Infamy should be in top 3 of the most realistic k98k sound in the game

0:26 in PUBG's version, when the character chambers to eject, you can see, as the bullets chasing ejects, the next bullet is visible clearly, every time it chambers to the next round. Even in 0:30, you can see the bullets is being pushed back in, as the character reloads a few bullets. That's very high-detailed. I respect on the PUBG's Deb on that regard.
Red Orchestra 2 actually got the reloads right kinda, like if there are still bullets inside and the guy pulls the bolt back a round actually gets extracted and loads 4 instead of 3
Exactly. I always caught that in games and it annoyed me. For those who don't understand: When reloading the gun, while it still has bullets in it, you have to load 1 extra round, because you dumped 1 round when pulling the bolt back to reload.

I love how the safety switch on BFV jiggles when a round is fired. The detail in the game is amazing.

Despite the poor model, that Commandos game had solid animations. However as usual, I find the Day of Infamy version the most satisfying.

Post Scriptum's K98 have the most interesting mid. magazine reload i'd say.
@@ziomccall4085 Probably the most realistic too. Soldiers carry their ammo on a clip so it's not as easy to lose, faster to reload, and easier to manage. So it makes more sense to reload with the rounds on the clip

The RTCW's K98 is one of the most unrealistic depictions,but i really loved it's firing sound and in game was really powerful.

The ubersoldier 98k sounds like the sniper rifle from TF2
From an owner of a Mauser K98k: Hell Let Loose's animation/design + Post Scriptum sounds = most accurate to real life.
I don't know about the actual sound of the gun firing, but BF5 got the bolt opening/closing perfectly. I have two different Mausers, an M24/47 and a Kar98k and the bolts sound exactly like that.
The Post Scriptum model looks the best IMO

Day of Infamy, Red Orchestra 2, and Hell Let Loose had the best animations. The only thing I think was missing from DoI's was showing the fourth round get ejected.
I think the World of Guns clips should be either first or last on each video since it shows off the weapon's operation.

Unless I'm mistaken You cannot close the bolt on a empty camber as there is a catch....so u know to reload
