  • 34: here is a mistake. Isgramor didn’t just came to Skyrim and started slaying the Snow elves. He was one of the first nordic colonists in Skyrim and they had normal relationships with the Snow elves, until they found the Eye of Magnus. After this the Snow elves raided their settlement and slaughtered almost everyone. Isgramor was one of the survivors. He returned to Athmora and soon arrived to Skyrim with an army and THEN he slaughtered the Snow Elves and made them ask Dwemers for a retreat

    • This, I was like bruv. The Nords and Snow Elves were fine living in peace. After the Nords had discovered the Eye, The Snow Elves sacked Sarthal, Known as "The Night of Tears." The survivors went back to Atmora, and Ysgramor and his 500 companions returned and laid waste to the Snow Elves, with the survivors going underground to chill with the Deep Elves(Dwemer).

    • Dragons come in many forms, depending on the specific mythos they're related to. Dragons have varied from, pretty much, a snake with wings, to a centipede with wings. What really makes a wyvern a wyvern is the tail stinger, not merely having two legs... and wyverns don't have breath weapons. I've never watched the Camelworks video. Might have to look it up sometime.

      @halfcirclehranch6877@halfcirclehranch68779 ай бұрын
    • thank you! as i just explained in another comment myself, they are a type of dragon a race of dragons which only have two legs... like most of the dragons in norse mythology and celtic mythology as well, we have several kinds of dragons among others we have the lindworm, the wyrm and the sea serpent which is also described as a dragon in some sources, the chimaera to a certain degree could be described as a kind of three headed dragon. disregarding the firebreathing goat part in certain sources, it has one head similar to that of a so called horned dragon, yet in some sources it is part lion, part dragon or serpent, and part firebreathing goat

      @Marvinuser@Marvinuser9 ай бұрын
    • @@halfcirclehranch6877 i agree with all except one thing, don't have breath weapons? like you mean fire or shouts ? lol because nidhöggr is a firebreathing bringer of DEATH and darkness on her wings at ragnarok, and she is UNDOUBTEDLY a wyvern! since she only has 2 legs ;) (and yes according to the tales of old norse it is female)

      @Marvinuser@Marvinuser9 ай бұрын
    • @@halfcirclehranch6877 actually: Dragons with poisonous breath are believed to predate those who breathe fire in Germanic folklore and literature, consistent with the theory that Germanic dragons developed from traditions regarding wild snakes, some of whom produce venom. The Nine Herbs Charm describes nine plants being used to overcome the venom of a slithering wyrm. It tells that Wōden (Odin) defeats the wyrm by striking it with nine twigs, breaking it into nine pieces. In Eddic poetry, both Fáfnir and the sea serpent Jörmungandr are described as having poisonous breath (i wouldn't be surprised if nidhöggr did as well though , literally feeding on corpses of the dead is bound to give you one hell of a "dragonsbreath" xD ) The term draco can also refer to a dragon, serpent or snake and the term draconarius (also latin) denotes "the bearer of the serpent standard" or a Dragon standard in other words

  • Regarding 41: The ambushed caravan will load in again if the Stormcloak camp nearby despawns, such as in a Stormcloak victory in the civil war. (Whether it first happens with their taking over the Falkreath hold or if you have to finish that whole questline, I'm not certain.) A nasty surprise attack was waiting for my recent Nord file when she was headed toward the Rift. It's clear that the Stormcloak presence was keeping the bandits at bay. Also; "Undead Goddamn Giants" [50] is now the name of my alt-metal band.

  • The kahjeets morph depends on the moon. Ok I get it, cats are nocturnal, moon is the symbol of night. But the moons are the corpse of Lorkhan, so the khajeet are actually like Lorkhanians in some way? I feel like Bethesda made those two pieces of lore sedately without thinking about how they would interact

    @umwha@umwha9 ай бұрын
    • Lunar Lorkhan is just theory. According to Khajiiti beliefs, Lorkhan is the third hidden moon. Also, I don't see how being affected by Lorkhan's corpse makes you neccessarily Lorkhanian in nature (I don't get what do you exactly mean by this term).

  • Holy shit, this is the best thing I’ve ever seen but absolutely the last thing I needed to see at 4:00am after playing this damn game for like 10 hours 😓 I am not responsible with my screen time, I have poor impulse control, I have an addictive personality, and I feel the compulsive need to learn EVERYTHING about something once I’m interested in it. This is how it started with crochet, and next thing I knew I was writing and graphing patterns and then learned how to card, dye, and spin wool to MAKE the yarn, and only tendinitis stopped me from whittling my own hooks. I’m going head first down this rabbit hole! It’s me and Marcurio against the world! 🥰🤣

  • The distinction between wyvern and dragons is different depending on the author. In The Rift War Saga by Raymond Feist for instance, wyverns are basically mini dragons that are the size of a medium dog but still have four legs. In DnD ethereal dragons don't have wings and look similar to traditional Chinese dragons.

      @MegaZeta@MegaZeta5 ай бұрын
    • @MegaZeta Really? What did I say that was false? IT'S A FICTIONAL CREATURE. The depiction in our own world changes between cultures. So authors have artistic license to depict them however they see fit. Which was the point I believe I made.

  • #57 Correction: You cannot pickpocket a paralyzed person. You can pickpocket a person recovering from a knockdown from paralysis or other things such as Unrelenting Force. Citation: I have the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, so maybe that's what creates the difference, but maybe someone else can confirm.

    @thelostone4303@thelostone43039 ай бұрын
    • You can still pickpocket a paralyzed enemy with the patch. But you must wait until they begin to recover. As soon as the person squirms, you can pickpocket. It’s 100% but doesn’t count toward pickpocket leveling. Easiest way to get through Kolskegger mine at a low level is with paralysis poisons. Just hit the Briarheart and steal his heart as he recovers.

    • Yes wyverns are in the dragon family but Wyverns do not breathe fire and use poisonous stings. Also they are a smaller. These are closer to Fire Drakes which do breathe fire, are bigger and like Wyverns have 2 legs and wings. True Dragons have 4 legs and wings, are typically drake sized or bigger. Oriental dragons have 4 legs and they use magic to fly instead of wings and are more serpentine.
