  • I actually really thought MJ was as epic as ever during his Wizards seasons....I'm glad he gave us all two more seasons of his greatness...Kind of made up for the seasons he skipped between his retirement and then return to the bulls....He still had it even at 40....He kind of changed up his game a little but he still was amazing all around when he played for the Wizards...The NBA was different when he played for the Wizards too so he had to adapt but he is the only person ever to score 50 or more points in a game in 3 different decades! In fact....Nobody else has ever scored 40 points in 3 different decades....And he went for 50 in 3 different decades....He's awesome! He played the part of a playmaker more as a Wizard but he also had games where he just went off and torched other teams for 50 plus....Several games he hit 5, 6, 7, 8 and more shots in a row even! Scored 38 points in a half at 40, nobody else has done that He scored more than 20 points in a single quarter at 40 years old....He was mesmerizing when he stepped out on the court....He added to his untouchable records list as a wizard at 38, 39, and 40 years old....

    • Such a pity everyone is now trying launch stuff from a step over the halfway line when the mid-range can be so devastating. Of course, Jordan was the greatest mid-range scorer ever which helped but it was a stunning shot. Just simple, well timed moves, enough to make a space and get to his spots. No dribble up yo ass stuff with 3 steps backwards to get open.
