Salmon are bigger this year. Though I have seen some 5-8 lbers. Bring on the Big boys or girls in this case. Fish on have fun

Any tips on how to dial in your speed without a fish hawk?
I don't have one either. Usually I'll just try to keep my speed at 2.5mph as measured on the graph. Obviously not as accurate at the ball as a fishhawk or the like, but it seems to do ok for me.

The Consummate Sportsman i was just out a few weeks ago in frankfort and every boat that went out for a night run came back with full limits and our trips were even cut short because of weather!

Yeah, probably not. BUT.... I do make sure my trolling motor on the bow is fully functioning before we head out. Watching the weather closely is key, too.
