Obviously for certain opponents boxing night be necessary but trying to outbox superior boxers like Usyk or Fury won’t end well for him. Used to be an AJ hater (still not particularly a fan) but the absolute state of the HW division now has given me a new found respect for him. He took on all comers and fought top ranked HW's back to back, and never made it look as if he was difficult to work with.

So happy AJ spoke to Wladimir. He's in a similar situation Klitschko was once in. After his losses against Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster everyone said he was done. Many said it was time to retire - even Vitali said he thinks it's time to hang up the gloves. But then Emmanuel Steward found him and turned him into a monster who was close to unbeatable at his peak. He went on to reign for over a decade and had an entire era named after him and his brother. I'm not saying that AJ will achieve what Klitschko did, but he's clearly far from washed and I do believe he can come back.
