if anyone of you didn't watch the reason why kernels at the bottom don't pop: it's because some kernels can either have too much or very little water which makes it stay intact even if you cooked it as long as you could
For those wondering why there is extra kernels: Some kernels have too much, or too little water inside the kernels. This causes them to not pop.
