Bill Molls survived the Great Depression winters trapping out of a log cabin in the Wisconsin Northwoods. He would later come to pass his passion for nature, hunting, trapping, and ignite a dream in his grandson, Billy, to venture to Alaska.
For 25 years, Billy has guided big game hunters across Alaska, all while filming his experiences in order to share each “Alaskan adventure” with his grandfather. Now, with Grandpa Bill since passed, his legacy is taking on new life as Billy finds himself venturing with his own daughters into the same woods, creeks, and swamps his grandfather introduced to him as a young boy.

I’m pushing 80 and certainly haven’t had the experiences you have but still remember my young hunting experiences of my Dad holding the .22 for me while I shot at a snowshoe rabbit. The excitement of harvesting the animal and the marvel of watching my Dad preparing it for my Mom to fry over our wood cook stove. We’re fortunate the Lord blesses us with the good fortune of having such great memories. I enjoy your shows Billy. You’re a great narrator and genuine person of God.

Though I'm going to miss going on those Alaskan hunting trips with you via some of the most amazing videos I've ever seen, my heart ❤️ now beats with the joy that you are now experiencing with your beautiful family.. Maybe it's God's way of saying well done good and faithful servant.

Every year i try to get a new hunter into our great sport. This year for some reason the young person was unable to go. I personally haven't harvested a buck in ten years opening day i harvested the largest buck of my hunting career. I believe god had a plan and he offered me this deer for helping get young people outdoors into his world and teaching them to respect it.
